Amy: (laughs) Of course I didn't, that would be way too much pressure for me. Her brother opens the front door and smiles at Amy.Johnny: Hey Sis! (looks at Callum) So you must be the guy? (smiles) Amy: What, how did you ... ? Johnny: I saw the ring yesterday stupid. Amy looks at Callum and takes a deep breath, she then looks at her mom.
Amy: Hey mom, so this Callum ... Uhh, we've got something to tell ya.
Laura (mom): (looks confused) Oh ... kay!
Johnny: (quickly interrupts) She's not pregnant!
Amy: (looks at Johnny and shakes her head) No, it's nothing like that ... Ok, I don't really know how to do this so I'm just gonna come out and say it ... I'm engaged.
Laura: (looks surprised) Oh, congratulations ... Are you sure, your making the right decision? your still a kid.
Amy: I know mom, but I'm serious about this, we love each other, it's the easiest decision ever. (she looks at Callum and smiles) |
