Description: The song starts with Lily singing in a low voice as you can hear the guitar and drums in the background. As it goes into the pre-chorus, Lily sings higher and louder going into the chorus. You can hear as she sings in a normal voice and then in the background a long with her, she sings in a higher voice. The song goes to the second verse and she sings again like in the first verse, repeating the same pattern with the pre-chorus and chorus. While she sings the bridge, she sings the same tone she does in the chorus. As she sings the last part of the chorus, she does a little bit of screamo with the echoing parts, 'It's just a shame!' After the last one, the song keeps playing for a few seconds then fades out. Lily describes this song as being her feelings toward music today.
Quote:”I like to think that this song is a metaphor for most people's feelings towards music today. Almost everyone calls themselves a musician but only few really are. Most people have become sidetracked and forgotten what it means to make real music. I talk about how when I first started to get into music when I was young and how much my views have changed on it now. Sometimes it's a sensitive subject, saying who's not an artist and who isn't, but maybe if light were shed on it, errors can be seen.”

Description: The song starts with a series of violins being heard playing as Lily starts to sing in her high soprano, angelic like voice. In the back you can also hear a harp and chanting as she goes into the chorus. The beat begins to pick up and you can hear the full band playing while more chanting. Lily sings the next verse while the band plays in the background. As the song goes into the bridge, Lily attempts and succeeds at hitting the high notes and holding them. She describes the song talking about something she loves more than anything; the studio.
Quote:"I wrote this song, well all of these songs are quite old, but I wrote this about the time I first came into the business. It's about something precious to someone and how it keeps getting abandoned or abused or not appreciated like it should. I wrote this personally for me as kind of an analogy to what the studio means to me. It's literally my home. It's like a shelter where you can just release everything and that's where emotions start to come out. I think a lot of people abuse the privilege of being able to be in a studio. It can be read in different ways but again this is my interpretation. The song basically is saying just how insane it is to have something you've longed for or needed and when you get it to just push it to the side like it's a piece of trash. It's one of my favorites. Well every song on here is a favorite so, yeah. (Laughs) Anywho, I decided to go to what I love with the violins and dramatic sounding. It's just a Lily thing.
