Scott sat behind his desk, looking at the screen but reading nothing at all. His mind was elsewhere, as he cast his eyes over the same sentence time and again, it's meaning failing to grasp his consciousness at any point. After a few seconds, he gave up, giving a frustrated sigh and then closing the lid of his laptop. He took a swig from his coffee cup and then put it back down. He always felt nervous at times like these. He wasn't sure if it was because of how she made him feel, or just the fact that he was sneaking around, essentially hiding in plain view here in his office. The problem with that ruse though, is that there's always a danger of someone sussing you out.

He coughed and leaned back in his chair, putting his hands up into his hair and making sure it was sitting right. Even in his mind he was convincing himself that this was strictly a business meeting, and he wanted to make sure that he looked as professional as he possibly could. He held up a solitary hand in front of his light blue eyes and watched as it shook ever so slightly. He shook his head gently.

"Who ever thought that someone with such a track record would get nervous?"

He chuckled to himself, and felt oddly better, just as he heard a gentle knock on the door, shocking him back into consciousness and causing him to sit upright. Scott looked up to see Arianna Harley standing there. He smiled warmly as he looked her up and down.

"Hey," he grinned. "That's alright...I'm sure we can manage to thrash something out without him."

Scott watched Arianna as she stepped closer to his desk, his eyes moving up and down her body, appreciating the effort behind the way she was dressed. She was baring a fair amount of flesh, and it made him smile. Ever since their first meeting when he had signed her band, Arianna had been flirtatious with him. He wasn't sure if it was because of the fact that she wanted a deal, or if she was genuinely interested at first, but that was a doubt which had long since faded away now. His eyes settled on her long smooth legs protruding from the tight jeans shorts she wore, before he pushed the papers aside so she could sit down on his desk.

"Thanks," he chuckled, feeling his stomach jump a little at the compliment as he looked up at her, grinning to himself.

He sat up straight in his seat before leaning forward a little. He looked into her eyes for a few seconds.

"Well, I do believe you weren't overly keen on hearing my compliments last week, but let me just tell you Ms Harley, you look truly beautiful. Wow."

He smiled, before leaning over and gently placing his hand on the small of her back.

Scott breathed in as he looked up at her, smiling, but he felt his breath shudder a little from his nerves. He knew that he wanted this, he had always wanted her since the first time he had laid eyes on her a few months back. But he had a wife, a kid, and another on the way, and he was terrified of what would happen if Gia ever found out. He knew that he would lose everything. Even though he had run this thought through his mind on thousands of occasions though, there was no way that he could stop, she looked perfect to him in every way.

Banishing the thought to the back of his mind, Scott laughed at her remark.

"Well, if that's how you look when you just throw something on, I can't wait to see you after some effort. You are so gorgeous."

He smiled and winked, just as she turned round to face him and grabbed his hand. Standing up, he felt an involuntary grin spread across his face as he reached his arms around her back, pulling her closer. He leaned in as she did, only to be surprised as she pulled away and smiled.

With his arms still around her he chuckles as he looks into her eyes.

"So you're going to give me a compliment and then play hard to get, huh?" he smiles. "Well that's just plain nasty." He pouts at her.

Scott chuckled as Arianna blushed a little, laughing at how cute it was. He lifted one of his hands from around her back and brushed her cheek lightly with the back of his fingers, smiling as he did so.

"I only tell the truth you know? Well to you anyway." He started to laugh before realising what he had just said, and the guilt hit him a little again, before he cursed himself and shook the thought from his mind. He put his arms around her again as he stood there with one of her legs either side of him, staring into her eyes. As she leaned forward again, he closed his eyes, pressing his lips to her soft mouth and sighing.

As she pushed him away again, he laughed slightly at her tease joke.

"Me either," he said, letting go of Arianna and falling back into his seat, chuckling and looking up at her.

As Arianna came over and sat in his lap, Scott put his arm around her waist, putting his free hand on her knee, and running it gently up and down her smooth thigh as she sat there looking down at him. He smiled as she started stroke his neck, looking up into her eyes again.

He listened to her speak and then shook his head, lifting his hand and holding hers.

"I'm fine. I guess I was a little worried about what your bandmate thought last week, but honestly, I am fine. Are you? I know you were worried about your career last week."

He looked down for a second, dreading that she was about to tell him that she had to think of her music, and that she wanted nothing more to do with him.

"No, I know. I don't feel any pressure. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't want to Ari.."

He smiled

Scott looked down for a while as she spoke, imagining that he was about to hear those words he dreaded, and thinking how much it would hurt him to see her just walk back out of that door, and he involuntarily tightened his grip around her waist ever so slightly. He eventually looked up, using his free hand to rub his stubble.

"I know...I think we were both reckless last week. We both need to know that flirting that much when other people are around is far too dangerous." He sighed and stroked her hip slowly.

Scott tried to catch Arianna's eye as she looked away and spoke. He waited for the answer from her, praying that it wasn't going to be the bad news that he had half expected to hear by now.

"Yeah...of course it's wrong, and people would get hurt. But as long as we can keep our secret, why do we need to stop. I mean, I make you happy don't I?"

He looks up at her with pleading eyes.

Scott smiled and nodded with her. You know, it had just been such a long time since I had seen you, and I was just happy you were here. I should have controlled myself better though. I really should have." He sighed and held her close to him again. "But that doesn't matter now. What matters is that we have some alone time right now."

Scott looked up at Arianna as she smiled down at him. He was risking so much for this, but every time she smiled at him it just made him want her ever more. He smiled happily at her.

Scott felt his heart skip a beat as she said he made her happy. Truth was, she made him happy too, and it felt good knowing the feeling was reciprocated. He smiled again and leaned forward into the kiss.

"Don't say that," he sighed,holding her tight. "Its been so long since...you know. Just stay," he pleaded.

Scott smiled as she touched the front of his shirt and looked at him. He started stroking her arm softly as he watched her carefully, intoxicated by how good looking she was and chuckling at the thought. He smiled and went to lean in for another kiss, just as her phone rang. He sighed and sat back as she looked at her phone.

Scott looked up into her eyes as she struggled to make the choice. He could see that she wanted to stay, but also knew that it made sense not to try to make Jared suspicious. He banished this thought immediately though. All he wanted was for her to stay. As she spoke, he sighed again and let go of her.

"Okay then. Guess I'll see you another time." He looked out of the window.

Scott sat there, Arianna still in his lap, but waiting for her to leave.He was sure it was what she wanted, and he didn't want her to think that he was forcing her to be here. He looked up at her again, trying his best to not look annoyed at her.

When she laughed he was surprised, before he grinned after she spoke to him again. He reached forward again and put his arms around her, cradling her a little.

It was all that he wanted to have her stay for just a little while so that they could be together. And it was true, it had been a while since they had last had some alone time. He looked up again as he felt Arianna's hand touching his face.

"I want you to stay Ari. You know I do, but I don't want you to feel like you have to..."

Scott's heart sank as the phone rang again, but smiled as she threw it down on the desk. He knew now that she was going to stay, and it made him very happy. He smiled up at her and then tilted his head as she put hers on his shoulder, her hair tickling his neck a little as she settled. He squeezed her hip gently as he slowly exhaled, clearly happy to have her so close to him.

As she kisses his neck, Scott smiles and turns towards her. "Good," he sighed. "I'm sure he won't mind waiting!"

Scott looked down at his chest as Ariana unbuttoned his shirt. He lifted her up and turned her so that she was on his lap, but facing him directly. He smiled. "Really? I just find everything about you intoxicating. You're so beautiful."

He leans up and kisses her, pleased to hear her say she wanted to stay.
