Oscar takes Eilidh by the hand and sits her down on the couch. Looking into her eyes, he leans forward and kisses her on the lips.

"You never needed to be scared in the first place, you can tell me anything."

He looks down at the floor and twiddles his thumbs, thinking about how he could lighten the situation and make Eilidh her usual self again.

"So, looking forward to being a mummy?"

Happy to see Eilidh smiles again, Oscar chuckles to himself as he hugs her

"I'm a bit scared too but just think, we'll have our own little baby soon."

He runs his hand through Eilidh's hair and takes in her beauty. He then laughs quietly as a thought enters his head;

"I bet Billy will be cursing us as soon as he finds out that you're pregnant"

Oscar is glad to see that her tears have dried and smiles at her.

"Well I'm not scared, I'm nervous but in a good way. I can't describe it"

When Eilidh asks about other's opinions he knows a few people in particular who won't be pleased but covers it up.

"Everyone will be over the moon. When it comes to babies, everyone goes all soppy and will be all over you. Dustyn will be especially excited for us because when the baby is born he'll have someone thats on the same intellectual level as him."

He chuckles a little when she mentions how sore it will be. He knows that she'll freak out even more if he tells her that she will just have to deal with it so Oscar tries his best to comfort her.

"You know it may hurt a little but once it's over, you'll have brought new life into the world."

When Eilidh mentions her mother,his stomach turns

"I don't know what she'll say. I know that she will hate me even more though"

"Look, it will hurt but it will all be worth it. I'll be there with you every step of the way"

Oscar adjusts the cushions so he and Eilidh will be more comfortable

"What will she say?"

"No, you can't stop halfway through giving birth silly"

He puts his arm around her as she cuddles him

"Well we're just going to have to brave when we tell her."

"Marry you? I would love to but everything is just so hectic at the moment and I wouldn't want to just rush into it. If we do, I want it to be carefully planned and special"

"So when are you planning on telling her? When should I tell the boys?"

After hearing 'tomorrow' he get a bit nervous.

"Well that sounds good but just be prepared if I don't come out of her house alive"

"Ok I won't be scared. I'll be a brave boy"

He sighs and pauses for a moment before looking at Eilidh

"You do know Culture Uncut will have a field day with you being pregnant"
