Katie smiled again and laughed. "I'm not too kind...just a perv. You know how attractive I think you are...all the time." She sighed and shook her head slowly.

Katie picked Boots up and the dog licked her face. Katie laughed and put her back down. Awwww you like me Boots? So sweet for giving Katiekins a kiss." She smiled and then stood up again, behind Nadia, watching her with Lucas. "I guess it will yeah. I mean, who else in the world has been to so many places before they're even two months old." She chuckled again. Katie smiled when Nadia praised her. It meant more to her to hear Nadia say nice things about her. She nodded and thanked her. "Yeah....but if I didn't look after him, who would? I gotta try my best for him, and I love him so much."

She chuckled. "Yeah, he's always asking for you. Maybe next time he gets up in the night, you can breastfeed him instead of me. Although, if you are going to get one out, at least make sure you wake me up first." She starts laughing. "Sorry Nad, naughty Katie..." She nods and then stretches and yawns. "Sure. As long as you promise to buy a bikini when we're out." She laughs again and sticks her tongue out.

Katie smiles. "Ok then, a kind perv it is then haha." Katie smiles at Nadia's blushing face and playfully pushes her.

Katie laughed and shook her head. "How could she be a devil dog? Look at her, she's oh so super cool and cute!" She strokes Boots again and then chuckles. She looks over after that and then brushes back the small bit of hair on Lucas' head with the palm of her hand. "When you get a little person who needs you so much, you really don't mind how much of a demand it is. You just want to do anything and everything to make sure they are alright and get what they need." She looks over to Nadia and nods. "I know you will. You'll be an excellent mum. You are so kind....and hey, you've managed to look after me a lot, so I know you care."

Katie laughed. "Awwww Nad, you know me by now. At least let me watch you try clothes on!" She pouts and then chuckles again. Katie nods as Nadia leaves. "Sure, I'll get ready then we can go. Just give me a little shout." She stands there for a few seconds, her hand on her face where Nadia had kissed her, before she fell back onto the bed. "Wow."

Katie is standing in her room curling her hair slightly with her tongs. She pulls a cute little t-shirt over her head and then a pair of skinny jeans. Afterwards she puts on some sneakers and looks at herself in the mirror, smiling. "Awww....so cute." She laughs at her own praise and then puts Lucas into his pram, pulling a little blanket up over him and then putting a tiny hat on his head. He kicks his feet around and smiles up at Katie.

"Awwww...are you going to see your auntie Nads Luc?" She smiles and strokes his cheek.

When the door knocks, Katie opens it and walks out. "Sure Nads, we can sneak out....looking good by the way." She laughs and winks.

Sitting on the bus at last, Katie was feeling a lot more relaxed. It had been a truly hectic first few days on tour, between playing shows, sorting out and finalising her setlist for the rest of the tour, and trying to juggle work and looking after her little baby, Lucas. Thankfully, tonight, she felt like she had a break from all of these demands, as they moved from location to location. There was no show tonight, and she had set the set list to one side for now, while Lucas was with his own nanny, flying to the next venue. Katie had thought that it was nice to have him with her, but she didn't want to put him through all the hassle of having to exist on a bus. He was too young for that.

Perhaps one of the things that meant Katie felt most relaxed though was the fact that she was being allowed to spend some time with Nadia at last, just the two of them. She smiled coyly as she sipped on her drink slowly. She had realised over the last few days how strongly she felt about her best friend, but just being here with her would be great for helping her feel chilled out and happy.

She smiled over at Nadia widely as she spoke. "Yeah I know right?" She laughed. "I saw a group of girls in the front row crying when I was playing Naked on Paper the other night. I almost couldn't keep playing I was so shocked!"

She chuckled as she unzipped her hooded jumper.

Katie watched Nadia put her notebook away. She had always been a little intimidated by lyricists like Nadia, and she admired the dedication that Nadia had to writing them. She herself had never had the ability to sit down and come up with lyrics. It was all so much more sporadic. She chuckled to herself at how that also seemed to apply to their lives. In her mind, Nadia was so much more organised, while she was so spur of the moment and random.

Katie smiled and then shook her head, blushing. "Well Nad I hear how crazy they go for you. It's deafening!" She smiled, trying not to stare at her friend's body, as she was often prone to doing.

She sighed. "I do miss him yeah. But at least I can have a drink tonight. I love my baby so much, but its also nice to have.some me time. It's hard work." She smiled. "How about you? Still missing Ryan bad?"

Katie laughed as.she watched her glass fill up. "Oh Nad, you know me...I gotta stay sober for when the straight girls get drunk." She laughed and stuck her
tongue out before taking a drink and chuckling like a lovestruck teen.

Katie smiles as she watches Boots jump into Nadia's lap. "Awwww I so love your little puppy Nad! I wish I could get one, but with Lucas being so young, it's probably really not a good idea." SHe pouts a little before taking a sip and then taking her sweater off.

"I know. I mean, people had told me that the Japanese were really into their music, and that if they love you, they seriously seriously love you, but I never expected anything like this. I've been blown away by it all!" She laughs and then shakes her head from side to side quickly, before stopping to brush her curly hair back behind her ears. "Are you kidding me Nad?" she asked, looking into her friend's eyes. "I was nervous more than you. Just a girl with one album released touring with one of the biggest stars ever? I'd have been as well just painting a target on my back."

Katie nods. "It's funny, but he seems really happy when you come around. Maybe it's just that Coyle blood. You just make us smile. I know I always feel better when I see you." Katie noticed Nadia look down when she mentioned Ryan, and thought she had said something wrong. Moving closer, she looked over at Nadia. She then laughed when Nadia spoke. "Haha, for real? Well he must be going mad...you know what they say; a girl in a baggy man's shirt is just super sexy..." she over-exaggerates looking Nadia up and down and biting her lip deliberately before bursting out laughing.

"A car? Wow....that man has you spoiled Nad! He really is good to you. Awww I love you guys together. So much!"

Katie chuckles again. "Me? A plan? Nooooo Nad...Katie's a good girl..." she mocked an innocent look on her face. "It's not like I have a big sex dri-" she burst out laughing just then. "Oh my god, I couldn't even finish that with a straight face! Julia? Yeah...I miss her big style. But we talk you know...I just can't wait to get back to her." She takes another big gulp, playing with the bracelet which Julia bought for her.

Katie smiled and then looked down at Nadia and Boots again, smiling. "Yeah. I think it's important to have a dog growing up, as a friend. I think I'll probably screw up his childhood by always having him on tour, so it would be good to make sure he has a little friend." She shakes her head. "Awwww Nad! It's not strange at all. Dogs are the easiest things to get attached to. Look how much she loves you!"

Katie started to feel a little more tipsy as she continued to drink. It had been around 11 months since she had had any, and she was not used to it at all. "Well Nad," she said, trying not to grin like a drunk, "Your album was amazing. You definitely were the most talented in GirlSpice; and I'm not just saying that cos I think you are sexy as all hell." She laughed and put her hand to her mouth as she realised what she had let slip. "It has been an amazing few months for us both really though. I didn't imagine I'd ever get the Chaos for best female artist. Beside having Lucas, that was the happiest day ever!" Katie leaned forward as Nadia hugged her, the drink starting to take effect as she tilted her head slightly and breathed in the sweet smell from Nadia's hair, sighing. She knew it was wrong to feel how she did, but she couldn't help it. "I know. Every other tour I have been a total mess...but I feel kinda safe having you around. It's like...it's like I think you'll protect me from all the bad things." She starts to blush.

Katie laughed as Nadia rambled on, clearly also feeling rather light headed. "Yeah..I mean, I look at him all the time and think, "wow..I'm just glad I can give him the best start in life." It makes me happy to know that he won't ever have to have money problems or feel scared about stuff like that. I hope I make him happy." She smiles. "And then I look at you and Ryan; you have so much still ahead of you. It gives me a warm feeling inside. And no, that isn't weird at all. You love him, so it makes perfect sense to make yourself feel like he is close."

Katie laughed. "Well yeah, I guess I am a bit of a sexual devil! I just can't help it. I found my sexual side with Vanity...and since then I've just been totally mad about it. Not having Julia around might even kill me!" Katie took a drink and then smiled devilishly. "Maybe you surround yourself with other highly sexed people because you are too Nad!" She laughed and lay back on the couch, before sighing. "Yeah...I guess. All I want is to know I'm near the person I love..." as she let the sentence tail off, she closed her eyes tightly, embarrassed that Nadia may hear the hidden meaning, before opening them again.

Katie chuckled. She could feel the alcohol taking effect as she lay on the couch, looking at the bus roof, and feeling her head swirling. "Imagine if Lucas could ride around on Boots like a little horse..." she started laughing and then sat up again, looking all around the bus. "Wait here. I wanna put my PJs on." She dashes off all of a sudden, stumbling slightly and blaming it on the rocking motion of the bus.

Minutes later, Katie comes back in some shorts, and a tshirt which says "Blondes are the most fun." She plonks herself down again, a little closer to Nadia and reaches out for a bottle of wine. Pouring herself a sizeable glass, Katie gulped half of it quickly, feeling as if she was really getting into the fun of the evening. "Haha....well, yeah I suppose," she chuckled. "Every time I send that stuff on Twitter I'm like "Oh my God Katie why did you say that?" But I guess it's all true...I can't deny you're just so hot." She looks over, and then catches herself staring at Nadia's chest after a few short seconds. "Oops," she blushed "Why do you put up with me Nad?" Katie chuckles and sits back a little, crossing her legs. AS she sat looking at the ceiling of the bus, she contemplated the bad times. "Yeah," she agreed, "there were some difficult times I guess; But people like you and Ryan really helped me." Sittingup, she smiled widely at Nadia. "You know...you are just wonderful!"

Feeling a bit embarrassed at her own comment, Katie then tried to change the conversation again. "Oh...um yeah. I mean, I hope I can do good for him. He's such a good little baby, and he deserve his mummy to try hard...especially since daddy is NOWHERE to be seen..." she scowls a little before gulping more wine. She smiled seconds later "Awww you guys are so sweet. I wanna see Ryan propose to you," she said, forgetting their conversation from the other night and failing to realise how she had put her foot in it, as she rubbed her own thigh a little.

Katie smiled as she recalled some moments in her head. "Yeah..Vanity was...wow. I didn't even know I liked girls until I saw her at one of her shows, and we just clicked and then...wow. I mean, I know she dresses weird, but she made me feel like a princess and stuff. She wasn't at all like she seems. She was gentle." Katie looked over at Nadia. "You're probably thinking "ewwww" right now huh?" she chuckled a little. She smiled over at Nadia. "Hey Nad, being sex-driven is not a bad thing. At least we aren't uptight huh?" she leaned closer to Nadia, and then quickly snapped back to her senses, hoping she hadn't been seen.

Katie looks over at Boots. "Awwww look at her little face! She looks so tired Nad! Does she have a little bed on here too?" She chuckles to herself as she imagines a little four-poster bed for a dog, with Boots all tucked up inside.

When she comes back, Katie chuckles and looks at the front of her tshirt. "Hehe....well funnily enough I only ever had one blonde...but I saw this tshirt and I just HAD to buy it!" When Nadia mentions going back to brunette Katie laughs. "I prefer you as a brunette anyway Nad...far more sexy...." she playfully shoves Nadia and gulps some more wine. Katie looks up at Nadia and smiles innocently. "Weeeellll, obviously I thought you had something on your shirt," she giggles, lying through her teeth. Katie falls back laughing and then sits up. "Nadia Berry! I think you've had three much to drink! Wait...I mean too! She laughs again.

Katie nods slowly, the sobering thought hitting her about Lucas' father. "Well, yeah. I talked to that Cassie slut girl...apparently she hasn't seen him either, and he's her husband!" She shakes her head. "But me and Lucas don't need guys like that." She then sees Nadia look down, and remembers the conversation from the hotel. "Oh Nad," she cries. "I'm so sorry...I forgot" She moves over and tries to hug Nadia.

Draining her glass, Katie smirks as they converse about Vanity. "We did yeah...she was real fun. I agree though. Julia is so much better for me. I need someone who wants to settle and love me." As Nadia speaks, Katie stares into her eyes, the effects of having just drained a glass of wine and staring into eyes that she had convinced herself she loved combining to blur all of her senses. She leaned in, without realising what she was doing, and before she knew it, she was half an inch from Nadia's lips...

Katie drunkenly chuckles at Nadia's preferred hair colour. "Hehe...then Ryan could just flip you over depending on what one he really wanted more at that particular time!" She laughed at herself, another perverse comment slipping from her lips. "Well brunette does suit you. I always think brown is a more classy hair colour...and that, I swear, is nothing to do with me being a brunette too." She smiles and nods, "Mhm, I swear it was just that." She tries to keep her face straight and then starts to laugh. "Ok...ok. I was looking at your boobs. I can't help it." She pouts again. "No more booze? Awww come on Nad...I don't wanna be the only one drinking!" She smiles, holding the wine bottle out to Nadia and giggling uncontrollably.

Nodding, Katie sighs again as she swigs some more wine down. "You're right. I mean, he seemed a nice guy, but...I just, I don't know anymore. Maybe he'll come see Lucas sometime." Katie hugged Nadia, glad to hear she hadn't offended her friend, and smiled as they embraced.

Katie smiled as they discussed Julia, nodding along with everything Nadia was saying. "Yeah...we might even be the perfect match!" However, the lean in from Katie that was to follow was merely a drunken haze. From simply looking into Nadia's beautiful eyes, Katie found herself less than inch from her face, before she was sharply brought around by two hands on her shoulders forcing her back to the couch. Brushing her hair back as she looked down, Katie picked up her empty wine glass and placed it on the floor. She crossed her arms and stared out of the window silently.
