Brittany: YESSSS!!! Keli! This is what I want to see! You really made a HUGE improvement from last week and I think you don't want to be seen in the bottom spot again. I prefer Who You Are as it fits you much better and shows off your vocal ability a bit better than Stand By Me, which is an amazing song, but I don't think it really fits you, but you still nailed it. It's just not exactly for you. All in all, this was really, really good and I'm proud of you this week. Your voice was ace, the emotion as always was present and you just looked more confident. KEEP IT THIS WAY! *claps*

Scott RH: Kelli, you were dissapointing last week. We can't deny that much. But you know what, you have delivered tonight, and this is a stunning performance from you! What you have managed to do is exactly what we want to see. You responded to criticism rather than taking it to heart, and you put on a wonderful show to fight back and show the real Kelli O'Day. Keep this sort of thing up, and I am certain we will be seeing you for a long time to come. you have a truly stunning voice, and you are not afraid to use it! Bravo.

Brittany: And then I'll be stuck rolling my eyes at you for the rest of your life !

The stage lights come together as only two members of the band take their places on stage, Matthew with his guitar and Julian on his drumset. Julian begins the simple backbeat that maintains for the entire song. Matthew steps up to the mic, “Well, we’re gonna start off with our choice of music, it’s a bit of a chill-punk ballad but, here it goes.” Matthew begins the distinctive back and forth riff for the track.as he shakes his head back and forth, the entirety of the riff relying on only three strings.

I’ll take the time to do what I want/Things are going pretty good for me.
I’ll do some things I don’t mind/Things are going pretty okay.
Some friends are coming over tonight/They want to visit and have a good time.
I guess it’s nice to be with my friends/Things are going pretty okay.

He begins a quick guitar breakdown, waving his hair from side to side as he taps his foot to the riffs, and after the quick breakdown, he returns to the normal riff.

I think im going home with my friends/I guess its nice cuz I can talk to them.
Its pretty good to be with my friends/Things are going pretty ohh oh kay
It’s fun to be stupid,/We’re gonna catch s.p.e rays.
Were gonna go down to the beach/Sometimes it’s nice to get away,
It’s gonna be a heavy day.

As Matthew belts out the final lyrics he finishes the song off to the cheers of the crowd as his other two brothers come aboard the stage.

With the rest of his band backing him up, Matthew looks to his brother Julian, nodding to him as he begins performing a series of three cymbal taps in succession of each other.

Taking the signal, Lawrence begins the signature riff associated with the song, similar to a light-hearted love song and Julian begins the drumming that powers the song, with Vincent playing the bassline alongside the drumming.



The playing grows heavier and the drumming frayed as the song enters it chorus, with Matthew beginning the chorus’ almost djent like riff.







Matthew begins to sing in a falsetto voice for the rest of the song.



The song closes out and the theater deafens with applause.

Brittany: Yanno, I really liked this and I really like you guys. The fact that you guys always stay true to yourselves no matter what the challenge is makes me like you guys even more. Everything you guys perform has a distinctive spin on it that just makes it, The Devil You Know, and that's always great. Each week you guys have been very consistent and this week is no different. I liked both songs, and the first one had some really interesting guitar chords. You guyre just interesting as a whole and I think that will keep you afloat in the competition. Splendid job, guys!

Hayden: I thought this performance was alright but it didn't really do it for me like last time. I hope you guys plan on coming tougher than that to win. The songs were alright to choose but I thought maybe something shocking would have caught my attention better. Maybe it could have been a little more energetic in your performance but it was alright.

Scott RH: KC! That was just swell my lil southern belle! Wonderful performance. Once again, I'd like to applaud my song choice here. Not many people appreciate Megan MacAuley, but I knew you could pull off that difficult track. And you really did. It was a truly stunning performance . I loved it, and I know for a fact that you are going to be here next week. Everyone vote Casey, she's a keeper. By the way, I saw you looking my way during the Leona song too. Thank you. It means a lot to have the backing from my acts at the minute. Seriously, thank you Casey. And you sung it so beautifully as well. Honestly, I can't fault this.
