If this had been any other situation, Katie knew that she'd have been laughing at just how quiet Cassie was. But over the past few weeks, she had come to know the girl so much more, and had become aware of how much deeper she was than just the bitchy little teenager who liked to shout abuse at everyone. In reality, Cassie was actually very sweet, and Katie had experienced her softer side many times lately. She smiled as she took the cup from Nadia, as did Cassie, who quickly panicked and then half smiled before looking at Nadia. "Thank you Ms Berry," she said quickly, causing Katie to give her a very odd look and start laughing.

Katie looked at her, and shook her head. "Cass, you don't have to try so hard. Nads is a great girl. Just be yourself okay?" She smiled and looked at Nadia. "You gotta forgive her," she smiled, "She was just afraid that you were gonna be all protective of me and stuff. Katie kept her eyes on Nadia as well, and when she caught her eyeline, she gave her a quick look that told her it was okay, and to relax, before smiling warmly at her.

"Well thank you Ms Berry," she said, pretending to mock Cassie. "I happen to think you're right. Maybe we are just the cutest couple in music now.." she laughed again, sticking her tongue out.

When Nadia walked into the living room area, Katie stood behind Cassie with her hand on her hip and urged her into the room. The couple followed behind Nadia and sat near her on the sofa, Katie resting her hand on the bare thigh of a clearly slightly embarrassed Cassie. Katie took a sip of her coffee. "Mmm..this girl knows how I like my coffee," she smirked. "So Nads, what have you been up to?"

Cassie looked a little confused as the pair laughed at her, and felt something strange; relief. She normally would have taken a verbal swing if someone laughed at her, but she felt here that it was a lot more light hearted, like she was among friends. She smiled at Katie and then turned to look at Nadia. "Ok. Deal. Sorry, I've just never been to meet someone's...well I don't know how you would describe what you are to Katie. She talks about you all the time, and I just felt pressure to impress you." She chuckles and scratches the back of her head gently.

Katie laughed as Nadia made the remark about the kitchen. "A housewife huh? Ryan must be so proud to have a domestic goddess do his bidding," she chuckled. "I need to get me someone with skills like that. Maybe you could teach Cass." She looks sideways and then laughs to show Cassie she is kidding, giving her thigh a playful squeeze.

Katie laughs at Nadia's comments. "OH MY GOD! I can just see Boots with a Tommy Gun out blasting up dem hoes!" she falls backwards laughing, and Cassie looks at her, smiling at how happy and relaxed Katie seems around Nadia. "Ewwwww I knew you would have phone sex! Must be tough for you though to be away from him. I know what it's like for me. I haven't had sex in like two months almost. I'm dying over here." She chuckles again, sipping her drink. "Not much either. I've just been with this one, watching TV and movies mostly."

She looks at Nadia's hair. "As much as you know I think you would look sexy with a bag over your head even, I gotta say I prefer the brown hair. Blonde makes you look too innocent. I prefer the dirty Nadia." She chuckles again.

Cassie listened to Nadia speak, nodding her head and trying to look interested. She was genuinely interested in hearing what Nadia had to say, but she had been told in the past that she had a tendency to look bored when she wasn't the one speaking. She smiled over at her. "I guess the notion of making her happy is a new thing for me. I've not been with a girl like this before so its all new, but I'm learning and I promise to do my best to make her smile." Cassie smiles at both of them and then chuckles at Nadia's description of herself as Katie's mother. "I suppose I should have her home by midnight and make sure I don't get her pregnant too right?" She chuckles playfully, feeling more relaxed. Katie grins as they speak.

Katie laughs. "If youre such a kitchen whizz then get in there and make me a sandwich bitch." She laughs again, feeling back to her jokey self around Nadia. "I'm kidding Nads I'm kidding. Awwww you know my bro misses you so much Nad. I'm sure of it!" She smiles. "Yeah. You could call it 'Berry Tasty' and make millions! I'd attend. I hear the tutor is a reeeeal hotty," she says, winking at Nadia.

"I think you need to get Boots a fedora to go with her bad ass gangsta look!" She laughs at the thought of a dog in a hat. Clothed animals always made her laugh. "She could be Bugsy Ma-Bone." She chuckled and starts giggling hysterically at her own joke. "Damn," she says. "Maybe I should have hung around after all. How could I have missed you getting all heated?" She sighs "yeah...but at least when you see yours you know you can just leap in him! Cass and I have never. Not yet." She looks innocently across the room at Nadia, a sincere look in her eyes.

Katie smiles and then laughs. "Good. Dirty Nadia is my faaavourite bus mate! Aside from Bugsy MaBone of course." She chuckles. "You could be right. Maybe thats why I end up with all the straight girls. Innocence is evidently appealing to Katie.....and it hides the truth in your case," she jokes.

Nadia knew something was up with Katie over the way she was acting on Twitter, after Katie had told her it was something to do with Cassie, she had hoped nothing bad between them happened. Nadia always found them to be a cute, well suited couple, and Katie had always seemed genuinely happy around her, so she had no clue what had happened to suddenly change things so fast.

She ran a hand through her neatly straightened hair, and looked down at herself to make sure she looked okay. She had her make-up all perfectly done, dressed in a colourful floral dress, leather biker jacket and wedged heels, it was certainly a change to her to get all dressed up and look so good in her spare time. But what with Ryan around now, she wanted to look at least a little more presentable compared to the casual hoodies and leggings she'd throw on.

She walked up the few steps of the tour bus and even though she had a key to get in, she didn't want to seem rude and just barge in. Instead, she knocked lightly on the door, the gift she had bought Lucas held in her other hand. She looked down for a moment and waited, in hope that Katie was feeling at least a little bit better compared to earlier.

As Nadia waited outside the door, she looked down at the little hat that she had bought for Lucas and smiled at the cuteness of it. If there was anything that she was more glad about than Katie having Lucas, it was the fact that she had the excuse to buy a whole load of cute things for him. She laughed at herself softly, and then looked up once the door opened, seeing Katie's watery eyes right in front of her.

The natural thing to do for Nadia was to instantly lean in for a hug to comfort her, she didn't have a clue what was wrong, but she was soon about to find out. She wrapped her arms around her and sighed, "I wouldn't have left you in this state if I knew you were like this." As the hug broke apart, Nadia walked over to Lucas as she smiled warmly, she gently placed the hat in his travel cot and then sat down on the sofa nearby, moving quietly to not wake him.

She patted the seat next to her and smiled, "You said this was about Cassie, right? What's happened between you two? I thought everything was going really well?"

Nadia could tell how much Katie needed her by the way she threw her arms around her as her face buried into her shoulder. It wasn't all that rare to see Katie in a state, Nadia knew she was emotional and easily upset, but she also knew that this relationship with Cassie meant a lot to her. "You're my friend, okay? My best friend. It's my job to be there for you and look after you," she said softly.

She looked over at Katie who walked over to Lucas and saw the hat that she had placed in the cot, "It was just too adorable for me to not buy it," she laughed. "It's the least I can do... I admire you so much to cope with a baby out on the road, I know I've said that before, but yeah." She knew it was only a small gift, but she was glad to see that Katie appreciated it.

Nadia's eyed widened once Katie began talking, not really understanding her as she began rushing through everything. She paused her, "Woah, woah, woah... she needed you and you shouted at her? From the start hun, you've lost me."

Nadia had always felt either like some sort of mother or big sister figure to Katie, the pair had grown so close over recent times, that it had always upset her whenever Katie was upset. She pouted a little as she looked into her eyes, "Things will be okay whatever they are, I promise." She shook her head, "You owe me nothing." If anything, she felt a little guilty that Katie was left alone in the bus for so long.

A small smile formed at the corners of her mouth, "I know you do, and you do such a great job, seriously. In my eyes, you're a fantastic mother... you're always patient, loving and caring with him. He's lucky to have you." She smiled over at Katie again once she stroked his cheek, strangely in awe of her as if she had no clue how she was holding so well together for him.

Nadia sat patiently and waited for Katie to begin explaining what had happened, a comforting look on her face to show that Katie could bring up anything around her. She looked a little confused once she revealed Cassie's pregnancy to her, "Wait... what? Are you serious? How far gone is she?"

Nadia gasped a little in surprise as it began to sink in, she bit her bottom lip and looked down at the floor as she began to think. She felt like Katie was relying on her for some sort of advice on what to do, but this time she had nothing, she didn't really have a clue on what to tell her. "I'm... I'm sorry to hear, that must be a lot to take in, especially just when you're getting really close to her," she said softly, her eyes moving from the floor over to her eyes.

She shook her head as her eyes didn't move away from her, she could understand why Katie was angry, but it also wasn't Cassie's fault at all. This had happened way before the two of them got together. "I... I guess you have to be there for her, Kat. Whether you like it or not, this happened before anything between you two started, and you've just gotta remember that. She needs you."

Nadia tried to imagine herself in Katie's place, she would have probably felt the exact same, so she didn't blame her in the slightest. "We all say stuff we don't mean in the heat of the moment... me and you would know all about that." She lowered her head to look at the floor, as if she was ashamed over the time they argued. But now wasn't the time to start worrying over past events like that.

She raised her eyebrows in confusion, surprised over how much Katie had to reveal to her tonight. "What do you mean that isn't all?"

Nadia was sure that Katie and Cassie would make up and that they'd be able to overcome this, even though it wasn't the smallest of problems. "I know you wouldn't mean it, I'm sure she'll understand that," she said, trying to comfort Katie and make her see sense. "I'm telling you, this time next week, you two will be fine."

She felt just a tad bit guilty after saying that and seeing the text message. Her jaw dropped and she ran her hands through her hair, "Fucking hell..."
