Katie: It makes me feel sad about the Indonesia gigs. I mean, Nadia and I just want to play our music. That's literally all. We don't have an ulterior motive, and we don't want to influence anyone's lifestyle adversely. We only want to step up there and play out songs to our fans who have supported our albums and singles and bought tickets to these shows to show how much we really appreciate all that they do for us. I love my fans and to have the chance to share something like this with them is among the best things in the world. To see those smiles and to hear people sing my lyrics back makes everything I do worthwhile.
But because some people feel that we are a bad influence they want to stop us playing? OK, Nadia shows a little skin on stage; so what? That is no reason to deprive her of the chance to do what she loves: making thousands of people happy with her music. Similarly, it is what I love to do, but because my sexuality is wrong in their eyes, and because I have been open about my sex life, people want to stop me? Its not right at all.
We are here enjoying some of the best times of our lives. We are two best friends who are sharing the experience with our fans and with each other. People should just let us be.

Thank you,

Katie Coyle.

Isaac: I've worked with Nadia, but I agree with Hayden in this case. I feel like if people don't want you there, then they won't. Violence is being threatened here on what I assume is a little widespread, and I think if you can find a way to avoid/stop that type of thing you should. Big fan of both, but this show probably shouldn't happen.

Does Friends kiss each other?

Julia Volkova, we haven’t talked about her since her last troubled short relation with Katie Coyle, who seems finally found someone to be with her, once Julia for unknown reasons broke up with her few months ago.

UserPostedImage

I just hope that the pictures we posted about Julia hanging out with her tour director (so called her friend) didn't cause their break up. well if it did, Culture Uncut doesn't give a F%#@... Sorry about that Julia, we know you're not from ElectroDeath anymore... it's just inevitable...

Ok, all this introduction to show you THIS!

UserPostedImage

Now we ask you...

Does two friend kiss each other?
Does Julia Volkova change to straight side?

Why is she so quiet lately, when her tour with Cristina Lake is about to start in couple of weeks?

we're just wondering...

Stephanie Fierce Does "Parents Magazine" Interview;
"I would love to have gay children, Religion can turn people into killers"

UserPostedImage

Stephanie Fierce and her beautiful daughter "Helle" are both brightly featured on this month's cover of "Parents Magazine". The issue features an exlusive interview from the mother of little miss Helle, which is set to speak on motherhood, important issues with child development and Stephanie Fierce's personal life outside of music.

When asked how would Stephanie Fierce feel if her child turned out to be gay, she responded with the following:

Stephanie Fierce: "It wouldn't make a difference. If any of my children "turn out" to be gay, I would make sure they are raised with dignity and without a label. Part of the reason many gay boys and girls are committing suicide, is because they almost feel as if they have to make a statement or because they feel as though there it's is too complicated to live in a world where no one but a stranger at a club is going to show acceptance. That's heartbreaking to me, because it's something that people can't take back. Matter a fact, I would love to have gay children, simply for the fact that I believe that's one of the steps of pushing this world and society forward. Many parents don't really prepare themselves for their children to be gay and that could be reasonable if you lived in the 20th century. But we're in an era were young kids are finding the courage to stand up for themselves and become rebels to those who don't accept them. However, we need to take part as parents, because we are their first source from children until they are legally an adult. That's why I appreciate my gay friends and fans so much, because they work hard to make sure that people feel welcomed in this world through fashion, music and other tools that people use to give them courage. I think as parents we should have that mentality installed withing us and work on making sure our children have a healthy mindset about who they are, that way they don't find love and acceptance somewhere else. When I mean somewhere else, I mean in clubs and other dangerous places that could lead them to sex, drug and alcohol addiction. It's an important thing that many religious parents don't take into consider when their children "come out of the closet". I grew up in a very religious strict household and almost anyone at my church would count you out if you were gay. My father was strictly Christian in my younger days, I don't know what he would of done if I turned out to be a lesbian. I think that religion sometimes can turn people into killers and that's why I love and accept anyone, because Jesus himself did, if we want to throw the religion card. It's a matter of acceptance and less judgement."

Dustyn: This article totally relates to how I've felt in the past, growing up with a strict Christian family in a small village that seemed to be living in the past were being gay was seen as a sin. I'm glad you did this article :)

erica: i always loved the phrase "turned out to be gay". as if people loving each other is surprising. now,if i had a child thay turned out to be......say,a tiger.THAT would be genuinely surprising.

Winston: I don't exactly agree with this article, I mean I'm all for gay people this and gay people that, but in my opinion this is just another form of discrimination against them. When someone turns out to be gay or whatever, it shouldn't be great and it shouldn't be bad either, it should be normal. I'll be excited when a gay friend has a date and all, but I won't be excited when he comes out of the closet or anything, he did the norm and its not exactly worthy of applause in my opinion. We really need to stop seeing gay folks as gay folks, and start seeing them moreso as just folks. Just my opinion. Oh, and saying religion can turn people into killers is a bad way of putting things. Music can too if we want to be thinking of things in that manner, and when we start pointing at religion and other things as scapegoats, maybe we're getting past the point which is actually: people are and will be shitty. Nuff' said.

GETTING TO KNOW: ADAM BENJAMIN (RIOT!)

UserPostedImage

Recording or Performing Live?
Performing live is great, I like to hear that instant reaction from the audiences which is something you don’t get in a studio, I think recording is very boring and frustrating at times and unless you can somehow get 15,000 fans in the studio with you then it’ll not be the same and if that was to happen then I think there would be some health and safety issues … that and Amy would get trampled.

Morning or Evening?
Well that’s an obvious one and I’ll tell you for why … Firstly who doesn’t love the feeling of waking up and then realizing that you get to live another day and secondly and definitely more importantly I prefer the morning because I look extremely sexy with bedhead hair. So yeah, I’d have to say that I prefer the morning rather than the evening, and not just because I’m afraid of the dark.

What is your worst habit?
Worst habit? Are you insane? I’m perfect in every way imaginable, silly Culture Uncut people doubting my awesomeness, you guys need to take a long hard look at yourselves after that! ... For shame, Culture Uncut! ... For shame.

What is your favourite song of the moment?
I dunno, maybe ‘Get Crazy’ by Layla, simply because she’s just too hot, I wish I could have my own mini Layla

What is your favourite song of all time?
‘He’s A Pirate’ by Klaus Badelt, it’s always nice to pretend to be Jack Sparrow, you know? I mean it’s not as if I dress like a pirate and pretend that my bed is the Black Pearl or anything … I don’t, I swear!

What is your favourite musician/band?
It’s gotta be ‘Barenaked Ladies’ simply because it’s the perfect band name to type into Google, the search results are quite remarkable and it’s always a good excuse if anyone checks out your search history, you can be all like “I was searching for tour dates from my favourite band! … what sort of sex addict do you think I am?”

What are your favourite movie?
Star Wars, simply because it’s the one story that was created about my whole life … well that’s maybe a little too over exaggerated but my dad was part of an empire that also built a death star and he had breathing problems too, the similarities are quite spooky when you think about it.

What would be your perfect day?
A Saturday!

What is your best memory of your childhood?
Going on a journey with my friends, Chris, Teddy and Vern, It was labor day weekend and we went to find the body of a missing boy … Oh wait, Nope, that’s the plot of ‘Stand By Me’ … Sorry, next question?.

Tell us something nobody else knows about you?
Ummm … something nobody else knows about me? … Ummm how about … I don’t like telling people things that other people don’t know about me.

If you could date anyone in the music industry, who would it be?
Ideally someone with breasts but at this point I’ll take what I can get!

What would be your 3 wishes?
1) To someday meet a blue genie dude with the voice of Robin Williams
2) To someday fight Robin Williams while dressed as a Dustin Hoffman in a pirate costume with a hook for a hand
3) To find out why most of my wishes involve Robin Williams

Would you rather have worldwide success or true love?
I would rather have worldwide love! … I’m greedy like that.

What do you think happens when we die?
We get to have beers with John Lennon, Jeff Buckley and Jim Morrison

What are your 5 life goals?
I only have one, to continue to live until the day I die … Oh and also to someday learn how to take random getting to know you questions a little more seriously.

Stephanie Fierce: You obviously missed the point I was trying to make. When I said I would love to have gay children, I'm not discounting straight people. I was emphasizing on the fact that I would love my child no matter what gender she/he is attracted to. You obviously have no idea what gay youth go through in the hardship of society in many countries today. Especially in black and Latino cultures, being "Gay" is not something that is considered to be normal. I refuse to agree that people see them as just "normal people" because they are always counted out in society; because they aren't considered normal in THEIR defense. Which is why I'm encouraging mothers to look at it as "normal" if a child comes out of the closet because most of the time that's the first step gay people have to make to truly accept themselves, I never said anything about coming out being "worthy of applause", I'm talking about mothers experiencing the "come out of the closet" situation with their kids and not being ready for it. In no shape or form was I trying to say anything against them or put them in a category. And for your information, coming out is not an easy thing and kids that do it, ARE courageous.

On the religion thing, you need to read the full interview because you obviously don't know what I meant when I say that. So instead of jumping into conclusions you need to wait for the full thing. And yes religion has turned people into killers, just like music and other things. But I'm talking bout religion turning people into killers because of gay issues specifically. So you can have a nice day sir.

Winston: If you wish to encourage people that coming out of the closet is normal, then maybe we shouldn't say that term anymore? Coming Out may not be an easy thing to do, but neither is genocide and we don't really applaud for that, do we? Before someone comes in pissed about me saying that, I'm saying it might not be easy, but tough shit lady, lots of things that people do on day-to-day schedules might come off as hard to you, but we treat it as normal. I said it once and I'll say it again, we need to stop thinking of gay folks as gay folks, but gay folks as just folks.

Oh and to that thing about reading the full interview, well yeah I'm sorry I didn't read your unreleased full interview. It was totally wrong of me for jumping to conclusions of what you bluntly said in the preview you've provided. That's totally my B, except it isn't.

Stephanie Fierce: Because that's the lingo gay people use smarty pants. I really do not see the point you're trying to make cause it goes with nothing im saying. And btw that's because the interview isn't suppose to come out til this Sunday, that's why its called a preview. No disrespect to you at all by the way.

STARS BEGIN TO ARRIVE IN THE UK AHEAD OF THIS WEEKEND’S FESTIVAL!
‘Yes, it’s that time of year again as the anticipation has slowly built over the last few weeks ahead of ‘Field Trip Festival 2012’ and with only two days until the opening weekend a number of stars have already arrived with a lot more to follow in the next 24 hours’
By Culture Uncut

It’s not only those who are set to perform that are expected to travel from afar to take in two days of live music but a number of stars from all over the globe that are prepared to make the journey to the UK for the highly anticipated weekend ahead of us, with a large number of celebrities from the world of entertainment set to arrive very soon as well as friends of those that are performing too, so it’s likely to be a star studded weekend, let’s just hope the weather remains enjoyable.
One of the first people to arrive was the man in charge of the smooth running of the festival ‘Julian Morello’, you’d imagine that a lot of pressure was on his shoulders to get everything ready in time for Saturday, but after arriving in the UK late last night, he was spotted approximately 20 minutes from the venue this morning looking surprisingly relaxed ahead of the weekend alongside his sister, the two enjoyed the warm weather and seemed to be laughing and in good spirits;

UserPostedImage
"Julian Morello recently arrived in the UK alongside his sister, he appears to be relaxed ahead of the weekend"

However, you’d be forgiven in thinking that running a festival is more than enough work for anyone but the hard work doesn’t stop there for Julian who has also set his sights on signing a relatively new artist to the Studio60 Records roster in the form of ‘Kara Romero’ and to prove just how serious he is about signing the youngster he invited her from Brooklyn, New York to the UK in order to finalize a recording contract for her.
The ‘My Poison Ivy Lips’ singer has been looking for a record deal for a little while now and has been close to agreements with a number of labels especially following on from the success of her debut promo single, but after a week of talks in Los Angeles between Morello and Romero it appeared that she was getting bored of the negotiations, so the Studio60 representative decided to offer her the opportunity to fly to the UK where they will complete negotiations and he sweetened the deal by offering her a VIP pass for the weekend at the festival.
Kara is a regular attendee at US festivals ‘Coachella’ and ‘Burning Man’ as well as being a big name in and around the Brooklyn underground music scene and featuring on a track from ‘Luke Striker’s’ debut album ‘Your Conflicted Heart’ she plans to make a mark in the industry during the second half of the year and signing to a big name record label would open a lot more doors for the 17 year old indie star to make as big an impact as possible on the music industry.

UserPostedImage
"Is this the face of Studio60's latest recruit and future music star? Kara Romero also arrived in the UK with Julian ahead of signing for the record label"

The recently rejuvenated record label appears to be back on track following the departure of the highly influential ‘Gia Rose-Hilton’ and with the signing of ‘Kara Romero’ set to be confirmed and the likelihood of more talent being approached from the label in the coming weeks and months it would appear that the rebuilding process previously announced by the owner will continue and with things moving quickly for ‘Julian Morello’ in the music industry with various projects perhaps it won’t be long before he’s officially running the label as it would appear that he is already becoming an influential figure.

Cinzia Ricci rocks London Nightclub w/DJ Natália

UserPostedImage

House sensation Cinzia Ricci who has had quite the controversial week gets back to what she actually does best, and that is perform.

Although we were side tracked this week with much of the media in tuned with the Italian's personal life as she has just had a very publicized breakup with longtime business partner and rumored "boyfriend" Alex Van Roy(DJ Cloud) which saw Cinzia looking very distraught the day that the news broke out, so much to the point where Ricci flew out to Brazil to get away from the media and spend time with best friend Magie of Electrodeath, who gave Cinzia morale support, and it looks like Cinzia is doing perfectly fine without him, at least from what we can see.

Cinzia, who promised to do small club tour dates throughout the U.K early last week started this Mini tour in London tonight at Storm Nightclub where she returned to the stage since the Chaos Awards, and rocked the stage. Aside from the packed out crowd going completely bonkers as she rummaged through her hit singles "Italian Hearted", "European Expedition", "Ride Of A Lifetime", "Fist Pumps From Florence", "The World Is Mine", and finally "You Can't Stop Me Now" the starlet really conveyed the club life atmosphere as the crowd was literally shaking from all the dancing that was going on.

UserPostedImage
UserPostedImage

Cinzia had a huge smile on her face as she danced around the small stage as different club lights escalated throughout the club. Upcoming Brazilian DJ, DJ Natália handled the mixing during the performance packing some astonishing skills and at the end of the night Cinzia personally thanked Natália and bowed with the E-Records signee. Cinzia thanked her fans as well and at the very end of the night stayed for an extra 45 minutes signing autographs before making her way out of the nightclub.

Cinzia will more than likely release actual "Club dates" so we know when we could squeeze into a club, or catch V.I.P tickets to catch her as she does these small UK tour before she gets ready to release new music. UK'ers catch Cinzia asap!

HARD SUGAR BACK WITH NEW MUSIC, NEW IMAGE AND NEW ATTITUDE

UserPostedImage

They have disappeared from the music biz since their last single "Vampire" was released, but they're finally back and ready to give fans their new music after taking a long break to record their second album which, according to their new manager and member of G2L Stefani Vola, is supposed to be even better than their first one "Kiss Kiss", which was a worldwide success in the charts.
The girls also confirmed that after working with Laurence of the Teen Titans and Will.Rocca, the new album will have a more mature sound and won't step away from the Pop and R&B sound of the first one, but will also take elements of Dance and Dubstep.
The band will also launch a new website in the next weeks, giving details about the new album and the new sigle that will be released "very soon" according to them. A world tour is also in talks.

MY ACTIVE ACTS

Riley Hamilton finds father murdered at home

UserPostedImage

Seventeen year old Weekend member, Riley Hamilton, was distraught when he discovered the body of his father, Thomas Hamilton (49) with his throat cut at his old home in Leeds.

Riley who is enjoying success in Weekend travelled to Leeds, where he was born and raised, this morning to pay a visit to his father who he hadn't seen in a number of months. His mother was on holiday with her sister, so Riley decided to visit his father for a few days so that he wouldn't feel lonely. Upon arriving, Riley discovered the door to his father's home wide open with shattered glass over the floor. The singer soon discovered his father's body laying lifeless in the living room with his throat cut.

The pop star who is currently dating Michelle Green is known as the quietest member of the band and is also known for his very easy going nature. It is unclear what emotional state he is in just now however many fans and friends have sent him messages to try to help the singer through this tough and tragic event.

Thomas was a construction worker with no known connections to criminal activity or with any enemies who would committ this horrendous crime. Police are currently investigating the house as we speak and Riley has been taken in for questioning.

Glamazon: With his throat cut? Goodness, that's not very nice, is it? I promise I had nothing to do with this. Sorry, wow... it's true that these guys just can't catch a break, and I thought I had bad luck! Sending you my love right now, sweetheart. And for the other guys, please avoid breaking mirrors and walking under ladders and do yourselves a favour.

Radio Vine trys to commit suicide

UserPostedImage

Eariler last month, sources claimed that Radio was at a Extreme Bar where she drinked plenty of red wine and beer. She was crying at the bar as many fans approched her asking for an autograph. She will cry loudly and then she will talk to the bar attendent about her music, saying, " Sometimes it's so hard.. sometimes I regret doing it.." The bar attendent, by the name of Lo was even shocked and suprised he was talking to Radio. " It was so surreal. I love that woman, her music, her continue iconic moment she is leaving here on earth." He asked Radio some personal questions and told her how much of a fan he was. " She was happy to talk about her music, but then will cry and laugh.. all emotions in one." She kissed him on the cheek after the talk. " She kissed me and she said, hopefully I made you and all my fans proud." She walked out, leaving in a black limo going to the nearby hotel room, where she staying for the rehearsals for the upcoming Good Mourning tour that opens in July. Later on that night, Radio went into her hotel room and took a shower according to her publicits that she called minutes after leaving the bar. " She told me that she loved me.. and she will never do anything to hurt me." Her publicits Alexander Clark told Uncut eariler on this morning. An hotel neighboor that was next to Radio said he was coming from an late night event when he saw Radio in her bathrob, in the hallway, laying down on the walls with a bottle of red wine in her hands. It was dipping on the ground as he told " she was laughing by herself and crying. She will sing to herself and then smile. The bottle was half empty.." He walked over to her, not knowing it was Radio. He was trying to help her up when she pushed him to the oppsite wall and ran in her room. He was shocked. " I didn't believe it was her.. at the same.. it was just shocking to see her in that state.." he said. " I just went back in my room. I just thought maybe she was going thought a tough time." Next morning, her manager, Steven was scheduled to go up to Radio's hotel room to get her ready for rehearsals and also an music video shoot for " Empty" (the singer newest single) He said that she will also open up the door for him or already have the door unlocked before 6:30am when rehearsals was scheduled for eight that morning. This time.. the door was locked.

" I always carried a key to her room because often, Radio overslepts.. so I can get in connect with her." He walked in the room and paniced as he saw pink pills on her dresser, many falling out of the bottle. He ran to her back as Radio was laying there lifeless.. he checked her pulse. Nothing. He was trying to wake her up, her whole body was cold. He rushed to the hotel phone and called the police as they came to rescue Radio out of her room, later on, her eyes was beginning to open with blood cots in her eyes and her eyes barely opening with a slow pace to her heart. Many thought, " Radio may have a heart failure.. she overdosed and in a horrible way that when people overdose.. it's not as severe.. but Radio.. was deadly.." When they arrived at the hospital around 7:15 that morning. Radio became response to the CPR that was delivered but her breathing was still at a low rate and had to put on breathing machine. She was also in a coma due to the amount of pills that Radio took. Sources said that Radio took over six pills. " It was awful to see such an talented woman in this state.. it was sad." Around 8:30AM, police went back in the room and investiaged and saw that Radio left a letter on the cover of her Invention of Me album. It said: " Finally at rest/ of all things evil/ nothing can stop me/ I'm going beyond the limits." Confused, police went further into the room to Radio eariler looking at pictures when she was a kid and saw that wine drops was on the pictures along with a lightned cigeratte, that was burning out with lipstick around it. Around the pictures was albums of Nadia Berry and Ryan Ross. In the bathroom, was written papers that looked as if it was wet.. police picked it up with severel lyrics written on the paper also the lyrics to Empty.. not the single version. Police officer, James Crooks looked under her bed and founded a picture with Radio as a child and a woman with long blonde hair. He turned to the back to see the writing that says, " Mother & I. 3." He dropped the picture. On the curtains was a little of blood that was on the lower side of the white curtains. Later discovering a cut waist on Radio's body. Around 12:40PM, Radio was becoming responseful to the machine and to the mediance that the doctors provided. Vocalist and songwriter, Allision With was by her side the rest of the day as Radio remains in a stable condition and resting until she gets better. Many say that Radio was trying to commit suicide with the waist and the extremely overdose that she did, but her manager claimed that before she went to the bar, Radio was excited about being on stage with Vanity and working more on her sophomore album. Radio is the self proclaimed vocalist that is known for her bizzare and iconic songs that put her on the music map back in 2010 when the Radio's biggest hit, " Color Me" was released.
