Aubrey Mikkel - Star Factory Finale(Part Two) The day of the results show arrives and family, friends, and fans begin filling up the building. They talk amongst themselves as they can't wait to see who will be crowned the winner. As they wait, people backstage squirm around trying to get things ready for the show, that is to begin shortly. Aubrey, who is sitting in a dressing room, prepares her mind for tonight. She was a little stressed out from all the rehearsals and interviews she had to do the days leading up to today. She definitely couldn't wait until the show was over because it begin to take a lot of her. Though she enjoyed it since it meant that she was that much closer to having her dreams come true. Still the stress was taking a toll on her body and it begin to show. She thought back to her conversation she had had with her father just days ago. "Aubrey, you aren't working yourself too much again are you? You seem a little beat." Aubrey met her eyes with his, surprised at first that he could tell that she was tired, but relaxed, realizing that he always had a way of knowing everything. "You worry to much old man." She smiled, teasing him. He chuckled a bit himself before coming serious again. "Maybe so but I know you. Always pushing yourself beyond your limits. Must mean that it means a lot to you." Aubrey laid her head back against the chair, closing her eyes as she spoke. "You do whatever it takes to make your dreams come true. That's what you always told me remember?" He chuckled again. "Fine time for you to listen to me." She smiled and the two of them continued to converse among one another, having a good time. Aubrey, hearing a knock on the door, came back to reality. She got up from her chair and went over to the door, opening it up to see one of the stage crew people standing there. "Hey Aubrey. Ten minutes before you go on and Anastasia wants to interview you." Aubrey rolled her eyes at the mention of that name. She thought back to all the times she had been interviewed by her, each time annoying Aubrey more and more. "Ugh! Not her again. Isn't there someone else? I can't deal with her right now." The woman looked down on her clipboard she was holding in her hand. "Uh lets see..... no, it seems that she is the only one available and we have to have this interview." Aubrey rolled her eyes again then said "fine" before slamming the door. She walked back over to her chair to sit down and begins doing her hair as she had intended to do earlier before her mind had got off track. She usually had her hair stylist do her hair but this week she just wanted to be alone. So she decided to do everything herself since anyone that came around her just ended up ruining her mood. A little while later, she finished up her everything and then proceeded out of her dressing room, heading towards where Anastasia usually was. Just as she had thought, there stood Anastasia talking with some other people. She happened to turn around to see Aubrey coming up on her and she smiled. "Aubrey! Glad that you're here. I've been looking forward to this interview for weeks. Shall we start." Aubrey had the mind to knock that stupid smile off her face but decided to let it go as she didn't want to ruin her look for her performance tonight. "Whatever" she said in that usual tone of hers. Anastasia motioned for the camera guy to come over as she spoke. "Great! So as we all know, today is the results show. Which means we'll be finding out if you or Casey will be going home the winner of Star Factory. How are you feeling about your chances of winning and what song will you be performing tonight if you do win?" Aubrey tried to look interested in this interview for the sake of it but somehow she just couldn't pull herself to do it.
Quote:Aubrey: To be honest, I think my chances are good. I have no reason but to think that I'll win since I've given and put so much into this competition week after week. I mean I guess some people will say that Casey has worked hard too but like I said last week, she doesn't have what it takes to be a star. Though I do commend her for trying, as some people can't even do that, she's still just in over her head. I'm the real star here and I deserve this win. I'm sure everyone can agree with that. As far as my song goes for when I win, that is a bit of a surprise. Since I know that people don't like surprises and I'm a bit of a tease, I'll leave you with some words to dwell on, no covers for me tonight.
The woman brings back the microphone to her lips to speak, looking into the camera as she does. "There you have it. Find out tonight if Aubrey takes home the crown." She continues holding her smile until the camera guy cues her that it's a cut. She turns back to Aubrey but finds that she has left her standing there, looking confused. Aubrey, who is standing near the stage entrance, looks out from behind the curtain, looking out on stage to see what's going on. She sees that the host is on stage and had just called the girls out on stage to announce the winner. Aubrey quickly walks out from behind the stage alongside Casey. The two of them stop dead in their tracks once they are close up on the host. The audience scream for awhile until the host holds his hands up to calm them down. The room then goes silent and dramatic music begins to play as the host says a few words. "Ladies and gentleman, who will be your winner. Will it be Aubrey or Casey? We're about to find out. Here we go." He goes to open up the envelope he had been holding in his hands, taking a moment to read what it says before speaking again. "Here is your winner...... Aubrey Mikkel!" The audience stands up on their feet and begin cheering. Confetti starts falling down and Aubrey smiles as she steps forward, taking it all in. She looks over at Casey and nods, showing her way of good luck to her in the future. Once the celebration is over, the host announced Aubrey to give her special performance. Aubrey goes over to the mic stand, that was already placed on stage for whoever won, and stood in front of it. Her band had already made it on stage once they were cued to. Aubrey leaned into the microphone to speak, a few whistle and cheers going off in the background as she does. "I just want to say, you all made my dreams come true. Thank you. Now I will repay you with an original song that I wrote. It's called 'Partner In Crime.' Enjoy." Just as she finishes up speaking, her band begins playing the beat to the song. Aubrey moves her body to the beat along with her back up singers, who are standing off to the side of her, as the audience cheers. A few seconds later, she begins singing the first verse to her song.
[Verse One]

As the song comes to the chorus, she takes the mic off the stand before taking a few steps back from it. She stands there in the center of the stage, feet apart, pointing one finger up to the sky as she sings. Her back up dancers are doing the choreography and helping along with the vocals. She keeps her eyes focused on the audience, trying to see if they like her song or not. She had worked on the song a few months ago as a side project when she wasn't in rehearsals for the show. She knew from the start that she would be making it to the show's finale and wanted to make sure that she had a song prepared once she won. Now the time had come and the audience seemed to be loving every bit of the song, making her proud.

Aubrey goes back to stand in front of the mic stand, placing the mic back on it. She sings the next verse, grasping the stand as she does. While she sung, the words bought her back to when she was at home writing them. She had experienced a bad relationship and needed to let it all out so she could forget it. Now as she stood there, all of those feelings she had felt then came flowing through her, causing her to give it her all like she always did each performance. When she gets to the "go" she lets out a high note, making the audience go crazy.

The chorus comes back around and Aubrey steps back from the microphone stand again, taking her place from before. The audience this time, who had eventually caught on to the words of the song, sing along with Aubrey and her singers. She walks over closer to the edge of the stage and reaches out to grab a few hands that were reaching for her. She smiles, holding the microphone out to let them sing before walking away towards the center of the stage. She joins in on the choreography her back up singers were doing while she continues singing.

After Aubrey finishes up the chorus, the lights dim down a bit and the music slows down a little. A spotlight shines down only on Aubrey as she begins singing the words to the bridge. The audience take out their phones, holding it up in the air, swaying them back and forth. Aubrey smiles a little, loving how nice it looks from where she is standing and how well the audience is interacting with her performance. Once the bridge is over, the lights flip back up, revealing everyone else up on stage again, as they all begin singing the chorus once last final time. They finish up the song and Aubrey hits the last note, throwing in a little bit of adlibbing as well. When she is done, the crowd cheers and Aubrey stands there, smiling. She looks out to the audience, seeing her father on his feet cheering for her too. He mouths the words I'm proud of you and Aubrey smiles a little more. They continue to lock eyes for what seems like a long time until Aubrey looks away, taking a bow before she exits off stage. For the first time in her life, things seemed to be looking up and she couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
