HER (Hot Eye records) is owned and managed by pop icon Stephanie Fierce. Hot Eye Records first launched in the fall of 2009 and in late 2011, it closed its doors. However after much deliberation the label is re-launched in 2012. Hot Eye Records has been the home to Stephanie Fierce herself as well as many other legends including GirlSpice, Vanity, Infinite, The Bards, Love Gun, Stacey Walton, Miles In Minute, Daniel and many more. In a press conference, Stephanie Fierce discussed her excitement for the label's relaunch: "I want to stay in touch with the music industry and help other acts, so many opportunity comes with Hot Eye Records opening its doors again. Acts who are on the look out for a new label in 2012 forward better gear up for some heavy competition NOW. The label won't have a crappy launch. It will simply be the best. In order to make it, you will have to be the absolute best. I want to give new artists an expansion to what they already can do in the music business because there are many options I can seek with an artist or band no matter what genre they serve for. All I know is that it's a bright future for Hot Eye Records and I'll soon be ready to pick things back up again. She has put her eccentric and confident persona, her multi-cultural roots andd her love for art and fashion all together to create her music. Mercedes says that her music can't be put into a genre, instead she says her music is 'me'. Mercedes is currently working on her debut album and single. Her official YouTube channel has received over 1 million hits if you combine all the videos. It may not seem much compared to the likes of her idol Stephanie Fierce who receives 1 million hits in a day on just one video but for Mercedes it means the world to her that people like what she's doing. First things first, Mercede's 'Shine On' will be released on all European markets and 'Hungover' will serve as her US single in meanwhile. At the age of 14, Bennington realized she had a true love for music and so enrolled in the Melbourne Highschool Of Music. There, she developed her skills not only as a performer, but as a writer and a producer as well. Along with natural talent, she also continued her studies in a musical college to further her knowledge. Aside from school, Xena writes her own music and produced much of the free mix-tapes she began recording in a run down studio in Melbourne to stir a buzz in her country, where she has gained quite the 'unsigned hype' there. She came to the United States a few years ago and began performing some of her old music in night clubs and even flew out to the United Kingdom doing small club dates, starting a stir. She explains her music as being "much different" and quite unorthodoxed much like her style in clothing yet its enjoyable and likes experimenting with different genre's of Electronic music fused together channeling underground dub, alternative dance and experimental pop. She looks at M.I.A and Daniel as her main influences as they are "fucking awesome" - in her words. The founding members were Gemma Kane, a nursing student at the University of Leeds, and Lily-Rose Cardle, a drama and sports student at Leeds Metropolitan University (both aged 20). The girls had met in their first year of their university courses and had become close friends, often indulging in "a little too much" SingStar after sharing a bottle of wine or two when relaxing away from class. It wasn't until 2012 that the two girls really wanted to put their musical talents to the test and see how far they could get. Posting flyers around each campus, the pair received numerous applications, which were rejected for various reasons, before they came across 21-year old exchange student Mercedes Gomez, spending a year in England as part of a program from Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. The lineup was completed a few weeks later, in early February, when the trio were trialling their talents at the local KARAOKE bar. It was there that they discovered 19-year old feisty Russian Natalya Dobros, a girl who had spent the last year in England working in Leeds as a stripper, having come to England as an 18-year old, looking to find her fame as a singer. Her incredible vocal talent alerted the others immediately, and the quartet formed, looking to emulate the success of some of their favourite artists and bands. The girls competed in popular reality tv series "Star Factory" season 1. Gemma Kane: The driving force behind the band. Probably has the strongest voice, and is the lead vocalist as a result. She has a really strong head on her shoulders, and believes that she will often be the one required to keep the other girls' feet on the ground. Gemma is a nursing student, and is perhaps the most intellectual of the group, a fact she hopes she can use to help them reach the top. Lily-Rose Cardle: The classiest, and perhaps shyest member of the group, Lily is the least likely to be out partying or seeking the limelight. She is simply a music lover, and is probably the most likely of the group to write songs for the band. While the rest of the group have been bigging up their ability, Lily is the girl who will be trying to seek out opportunities and help aid their growth. Mercedes Gomez: Mercedes is one of the two members of the group who really like to play up to their sex appeal. She is a keen dancer, and although she is not a strong singer, she has a star quality which makes her the perfect addition to any pop group. Natalya Dobros: Without a doubt the wildchild of the group, Natalya is the youngest and most adventurous. Having left Moscow, Russia, at the age of just 18 to pursue her dream of becoming a pop star, Natalya took a job working as a stripper in Leeds, where she says she learned to use her sexuality to her advantage. Now, she plans to bring her experiences as an exotic dancer, as well as her undeniably outstanding voice, to help bring Lashes to the top of the pop game. The mission of Hot Eye Records is and will always be to foster our musical artists and bands and provide them an opportunity to grow and transition into a label that showcases in art and quality rather than just business. I am more than honored to announce that Hot Eye Records is now partnered with North Hill Records to open up bigger options and opportunities for out acts as they establish themselves in the industry. Just like HER, Ryan Ross Hernandez and Nadia Berry are currently developing their label's new home but with no doubt with the help of Hot Eye Records staff we can make this an easy and quick process. All of our acts will have the choice to transition to North Hill Records after releasing one album from their respected contracts and with proper notice may transitions to North Hill at their discretion. That doesn't mean our label won't promote our acts and that we will treat them as second class. So just like you can smartly open your mouth, I suggest you to close it, because all it takes is a quick phone call. Of course, we respect the decisions of any artist on Hot Eye, this isn't a must, it's simply an option that you can take or leave. Why people would get so annoyed over such a thing is beyond me, no one is being forced to do anything. Good luck with Hot Eye, Steph. :)
