"Good. Well I am really worn out today, how about we get some sleep?" She puts the frame next to her bed and opens up the covers for him to get in.

Nathan anxiously spun his white iPhone in his hand, leaning against a wall at the train station, awaiting the arrival of Arianna. He thought he strategically positioned himself in the perfect area, one where he could easily see Arianna when she arrived, but not so close to the train that it looked like a puppy awaiting it's owner to return. When in fact, after spending many hours the previous night exchanging text messages back-and-forth with her, he wanted to finally meet this girl.

He wore an unbuttoned blue denim jacket, over a plain white t-shirt, along with a pair of blue skinny jeans. He stopped spinning the phone in his hand and checked it for any messages, every few seconds. In one of their later text conversations, they agreed to meet at the train station nearest to his apartment in Brooklyn. Nate finally slipped the phone into his pocket, double checking his watch when he noticed passengers off the train that just arrived make their way past him. For a split second, he turned his back to the stairs before turning back to the direction and seeing her walk towards him.

Nate gave her wide, genuine smile. They had enough space between them that he could let his eyes travel slyly up and down her body. He awaited until she was in front of him, before turning his gaze down to the floor, running a hand through his wavy hair. "Arianna, it's a pleasure to finally meet you," he said keeping in at a tone that was personal. He gave her a quick hug, holding it for a few seconds before backing away a safe distance. "I'm glad you were able to make it to the part of town where all the tortured souls live," jokingly adding with a grin, still not completely able to settle into the idea of how gorgeous this woman is.

Nathan softly chuckled at her comment, although he wasn't certain if it was for her comment, or if he found her giggle adorable enough to make him do such, whatever the case he found it to be refreshing. "Hopefully I'm as fun in person as I appear to be in text form," he remarked with a smirk at the corner of his lips.

He is still quite oblivious to the fact that anyone may know his name, so whenever he saw from the corner of his eyes someone looking at them, he concluded in his mind that they were looking at Arianna. Be it if they recognized her from her music career, or if they just caught on to seeing how lovely she looked.

He placed a hand into his pocket, breaking their gaze for moment as he nodded his head, before looking back at her. "Yeah, yeah, we should probably get ready to get on the next train to New York City. It leaves in like five minutes I think." Nate made the first steps to walk in the direction she just came from, expecting her to follow his lead and walk beside him. "You know, it is awful that I've lived her for a year, yet I've only been to the city like three or four times?" He asked her with a warm grin, rubbing the side of his neck.

Nathan smiled and scoffed under his breath, gazing at her hand on his arm, before taking a moment to glance at her up and down "I appreciate the complement, but Ari, you should be offended that I didn't complement you. Which I did intend to do because you look splendid." He said with a smile, returning his eyes to look at hers.

He spent the first few steps they took looking down, still trying to get into the moment that he was actually on a date with Arianna, even if they didn't directly plan this as such. He returned his attention to her as he heard her giggle once more. Nate may have made his steps up the stairs a bit quickly than she had, because of slight nerves, thankfully it wasn't like he left her completely behind. "I imagine. I'm still a wide-eyed kid when it comes to the city. I feel I'm not up to speed with this city yet."

As they waited for their train, he crossed his arms over his chest, moving his head to the side as Arianna spoke again, getting a good laugh at her joke about him and old women. "Really? Well I don't have the lovely legs you do to get looks from old people. My legs are thinner than ice," he said laughing, clearing his throat in the process. "It's not safe getting on a train at night, much less for a pretty girl like yourself. Maybe I need to buy a car so I can drive you around."

Finally at the platform, they were both side by side, he mentally scorned himself for his quick steps and took a breath to relax himself. If she came off as very calming, he had his mindset to do the same. "I guess you would know. I make a bunch of references to New York City in my music, as somebody who thinks he knows the city. I hope you don't mind if you become a muse for a future song tonight." He smiled gently at her before turning his attention to hear the coming train.

Nathan laughed at, rubbing the spot on his arm where she playfully nudged him. "I will keep that in mind Arianna, if this whole music career doesn't pan out, I will give you a call. I can wear a suit with a bow tie very well, I've been told," he grinned, staying a step behind, letting her step inside the train before him. As he followed her to a pair of free seats, he sits beside her.

He places his hands on his legs, breaking the slight lapse of silence between them as the train door closes and it starts moving along the tracks. He laughed, letting his eyes roam the fellow passengers on the train, then looking back at her "Don't worry Ari, if any creepy old guys try to check you out during our date, I'll be sure to stand up for you." Nate let out a small laugh before realizing that he is the first one of them to refer to this evening as a "date".

Nathan laughed, "With becoming your chauffeur, at least it'll give me a good reason to stay in this city." He couldn't predict how the rest of the night may go, but the few minutes they've spent in person now, haven't changed the person he predicted she was from their lengthy text message conversation. She still appeared like a fun, easygoing, sweet, downright cool girl, that he hopped to get to know better during the course of this date.

He almost had to take a sigh of relief, as he heard her refer to their night out together as a date too. At least they both are on the same page when it comes to that. He nodded his head along with her words, chuckling, "Well for us to be sure we don't end up in some ridiculous place filled with old people hitting on us, I'll need your help in deciding where we're having this date. Google Maps could only tell me so much about a bar."

Nate leaned back slightly on the seat, still keeping his eyes on her, "I remember somewhere during the length of our text exchange, you told me you were a native New Yorker, born and raised here right?" He asked her, as the train kept moving along at the same pace into the city.

Nathan grinned at her, dropping his gaze and smiled to himself at her obvious flirting. For that second that his eyes weren't looking at hers, he slyly let them travel the length of her legs. He settled his eyes back to look at her, when he spoke, "I haven't heard the song, but I'm sure I wouldn't mind being your Jack." Nate let a small smile form on his lips, understanding that Arianna was one of a flirtatious nature.

He nodded, keeping his eyes on her, the entire length of her sentences. "Sure, why not? I mean, I'm hoping it doesn't, but if our night goes south, we can blame your friend for suggesting a shitty bar instead of each other," remarking with a chuckle.

Nate noticed her slight shift in position, doing the same so they were both facing each other now. "Well who wouldn't love a place like this? If someone would have told me there were girls like you in New York, I would've moved here a long time ago," he said with a warm smile. "Yes, well that's maybe because I'm from a rather boring place," he took a pause as he heard the train doors close again. "I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I needed a change though, that's why I lived in New Jersey for a year, then I moved here last year. For creative purposes at least, New York has done me well."

Nathan let his head rest on his hand as he gave her all of his attention each time she spoke. He lowered his head and let out a small laugh as he heard her refer to this song of hers as a sexy one. "Oh, then I can't be Cadillac Jack, I'm obviously not sexy," he told her with a small smirk.

He smiled wide as he heard her giggle again, it was something that in the short while they've spent together, he found it to be something he liked about her. "I'll have the best company in the entire bar with me, so I for one know I can make the best of it, if this place is abysmal."

He smiled again, watching her blush to his comment. Nathan didn't read gossips so he had only heard small bits about the controversy she was involved in through others, but he didn't make out opinions on people before he met them, and so far Arianna seemed to be someone who was sweet and sensible. "If I knew that would have been the case, I would have surely made a Twitter long ago too," he told her smiling, his eyes tied to her soft green eyes. "Arizona is a nice place, it's just too hot and all you see is miles of desert. I needed a change of scenery," he said, hearing that New York City was the next stop. "I'm not sure why, but I have feeling my best night in New York is yet to come," he told her with a smile, shifting his position slightly as their stop was soon coming.

Nathan adjusted his denim jacket in sarcastic, show-off fashion, "Well thank you, maybe Cadillac Jack can be my theme song when it comes out." He placed his hand over hers that was on his arm, he looked into her eyes for a few seconds before letting his hand slide down his and returning it to rest on his leg.

He nodded his head, giving her a small smile, "I agree, if we go by that, I think it should be a good night out in New York City."

Nate couldn't take his eyes off of her. In the year he has spent in this city, he can't remember of a time he felt like he shared a personal connection with someone, as he was with Arianna now. Obviously it has only met her minutes ago, but he knew there was something there, even if it were a shared crush, or a simple liking of one another, it was building as they spoke. Having not dated since his move to New York, he was surprised at how comfortable he was getting with her, even if he didn't know her so well. He smiled at her, their eyes catching sight of each other again, "Yeah, maybe it is."

When their train came to a stop, he stayed behind seated for a few seconds, taking in the sight of Arianna from behind, getting a good look at the length of her legs. Nate quickly stood up and reached her side outside the train platform, on instinct, he placed his hand on her lower back. "I guess we should probably get out of here, we've seen enough train stations for one night," he told her with a soft laugh.

Nathan ran his hand over a few wrinkles that were on his shirt, keeping his gaze on her as he shook his head, chuckling, "Don't let my bandmates know that, I'd never hear the end of it from them."

He rubbed his beard, or lack thereof as he had clean shaved just before going to the train station to meet her. "Just don't let me drink too much, I wouldn't want to be taken advantage of," he told her with a gentle laugh.

He wanted to pull his hand away from her lower back and play it down, but it felt comfortable. Even if he wanted to, just as quickly, a confused expression was drawn on his face, seeing her take his hand in her own. He wasn't going to go against her as he found it quite adorable what she did, a smile quickly forming on his own lips, "Alright, if you say so."

Nathan kept pace with her, not as if he had much choice, until they were already out of the station and in the busy street of nightlife New York City. "Hopefully your friend gave you right directions," he commented softly at her, before gazing down at their still interlocked hands, but he made no mention of it, just smiling and continue to walk beside her.
