Lucas is confused as to why Hayden is putting him back in the crib, and looks up at him. "Daddy.." he says, with a sad look in his face.
When Katie hears Hayden speak, she reaches up and unlocks the door. She moves so that she's sitting with her back against the bath, and sighs, waiting for him to come in. |

Katie shrugs a little. "Both I guess." She sighs. "I know it's not his fault...I know that. But maybe I should have like not kept talking about you around him when we were in Australia. I was just happy we were together...I didn't mean for you to get caught up in this." She puts her hand over her eyes. When Hayden puts his arm around her she leans into him. "I feel sorry for him, because now he thinks I'm mad at him." She shakes her head. "How do I tell him you're not his dad? He doesn't have a dad...and he looked happy when he said it. Do I wait until he's older?" She looks up at Hayden. "If you would rather not get involved in all the complicated stuff...I can go...it would be easier for you..I would understand if you want to break up with me," she says with tears in her eyes. |
