A few hours later, Veronica was laying beside Rory with the covers wrapped around her. She looked up and saw him asleep as she stared at the ceiling for a while. She then decided to make her way to the house to see if her parents were still there. She grabbed her clothes putting them back on and walks outside, closing the door behind her.

Veronica left her phone in her bedroom and was in the kitchen now, eating some fruit. She had read a note left on the counter from their housekeeper that she had gone to the store and would be back in a hour. Her parents were no where to be found as usual so she sighed and hopped up on the counter top. "Shockingly, my parents are gone!" She says sarcastically.

Rory heard Veronica's phone ring upstairs. He sighed and hung up, placing his phone on the table. He was all alone in someone else's house, in a state he'd never visited in his life. He didn't know where to go, who to speak to or what to do. He headed back upstairs and got dressed before sitting back downstairs and hoping that she'd come back. He was lost in confusion and hadn't a clue what to do.

Rory looked at her, concerned. She'd left him in a strange place on his own and he hadn't had a clue how she was or what she was doing. He was happy to see her but still a little annoyed, because he was stuck in a dilemma as to what to do until she got back. For all he had known, she could have ran away or been kidnapped. He kissed her back. "Hey... You were too..." he looked at her as she sat on his lap. "Where did you go?"

"Sorry. It's fine. I just didn't have a clue where you were. I didn't know why you left or anything so I got a little worried. Were they in?" he kissed her again. Now that he knew where she went he wasn't as annoyed but she still could have left a note for him so he knew the situation. "I'm sorry, I'm not angry or anything. I was just confused. I didn't know what was going on." he laughs a little. "It's not every day you find yourself alone in someone else's guest house, thought you ran away or something." he puts his arms around her.

"I didn't know where it was. I've never been here before." he laughs and holds her. "Well, if you want something to eat we could go out for food or order takeaway. Have you eaten now?" he kisses her softly on the lips." he looks at her. "Why do they not tell you where they're gonna be and everything?" he was never used to being neglected by parents so he didn't understand Veronica's relationship with her parents, but he wanted to help her. "If all this with your parents is making you a little uncomfortable or anything, you're always welcome to stay in London with me for a bit if you'd like." he held her hand.

"Alright, babe. I'll make myself breakfast in a bit." he kissed her and cuddled up to her as she sat on his lap. "Well, if you ever have time off or want a break, the offer's always open. I'd love to show you around London, just tell Ansley you'd be going to see the fashion in London to come up with inspiration for the shop." He chuckles. As she stares at the coffee table, he kissed her neck and ran a hand through her hair. "Something up, babe?"

"Well, it's up to you. If you do so I can repay the favour seeing as you've let me stay here today. You're always welcome to visit if you ever want." he looks at her. "You seem upset, and I can tell that you are. You can talk to me, Veronica. I can see something's wrong." he had a feeling she was upset because of her parents but he didn't know them so he wasn't certain.

Rory knew he was a sucker for when she talked about them being together and being happy, but he knew there was more to it than that and that she was changing the subject. "I know... Last night was amazing. But that's not the point, something's up. I can tell and you're changing the subject... Talk to me, babe. I'm here for you to talk to and I can try and help. I'm your boyfriend, that's what I'm here for." he kisses her.

"Okay, babe. I'm sorry. Sit back down, I was just trying to help out incase anything was wrong." he holds his hands out to her. "I just wanted to make sure everything was alright. I wouldn't be a good boyfriend if I didn't at least ask, would I?" he puts his hands on hers. "I'm sorry, babe."
