"Well, the most popular one here is the one at the Rockefellar Center. So, I guess we can go there then", she said smiling.
She went over to him and hooked her arm around his.

Gabriel chuckled and puts his hand on his own hip.
"An absolute lady you are indeed," he laughed a little. "I like you. You seem like you're always happy and I love that."
He starts to walk with her.
"Sounds great. There's a cab waiting for us so we should be there in no time." He opens the can door and gestures to her to enter. "Ladies first," he smiles. |

She smiled and went into the cab and moved over to the other side so that Gabriel didn't have to go around.

Gabriel climbs into the cab and sits next to Serenity. He gives the driver instructions and sits back.
"So...I took some time yesterday to look you up. I listened to some songs. Very lovely voice you have there Serenity."
He smiles.

Serenity looked out the window and looked back at Gabriel when he started to speak to her.
"Thank you. i couldn't have done it without Stephanie."
She smiled.

"Stephanie? Like Fierce? No way! You work with her? That's freaking amazing." He chuckles.
When she mentions the band, he nods.
"Yeah, we're called Party Hat. We only just got signed and no one outside Toronto seems to know us. I'm only sort of in it though." |

Gabriel felt really relaxed around Serenity. Something about her smile made him smile every time. So he did.

Gabriel nods. "Well yeah, I mean she didn't lot to make pop music more respectable. Man, the fact you've worked with her makes me think you must be the next big thing after all. Maybe you'll take Stephs place one day" he says with a little smile to her.
"You did? Why a mistake?" He asks as the cab pulls up. He pays the driver and gets out, holding Serenity's hand to help her step out of the cab.

Gabriel walks up to the entrance of the rink and opens the door for Serenity. He smiles at her and walks in after her.
"Well listen I heard your songs and I think youre good enough to replace her some day. And I don't just tell everyone that theyre talented. I'm not a bullshitter."
He pays for their tickets.
"One adult admission and one beautiful date admission please," he jokes with the counter guy.
"Sure well you don't have to tell me. They seem decent, but I only talked to one guy there. You're glad you asked? Why?" |

Serenity went inside and was amazed at how big the rink was.
"Really? Thank you. That really means a lot. This place looks really nice."
She looked around and took a glimpse at the ice rink.
"I just can't... trust them. And if I never asked for your name, I don't think I'd be here with you right."

Serenity went over to the door and looked through the people hole. She saw Gabriel and opened the door.
"Hi, come in."
She stepped aside whilst holding the door for him to enter, displaying her luxurious room. She had on a white wife beater and a pair of army pants on.
