I've realized what a bum i'm becoming this year and have decided that im going to carry on writing my original movie screenplay. I decided to defer from Uni for a year in the hopes that I could figure out what I really want to do with my life before committing myself to £36,000+ debt. If someone asked me what i've learned thus far, I couldn't answer them. I've spent the past 2 months partying with friends being far from productive. I'm now going to put my previous classes into action and continuing to write my original screenplay. I got an A grade and an award for best short film (5-10 minutes) in Ireland two years ago (when I was 16) and since i've just pissed it all away. I got an internship with arguably the biggest broadcasting company in the UK, the BBC and just didn't pursue anything afterwards.
It's always been a dream job for me, scriptwriting, but I know how tough the industry is.. more about who you know rather. However Journalism is also something I crave and it is what i'd go on to study at Uni (I already have an unconditional offer for Leicester Uni).
Anyway, yeah, starting work on my screenplay again, hoping to have it finished by Christmas time and if I feel happy and confident enough with it, I may post it up here!

I really like Masterchef. This makes me feel guilty. I mean I can't even eat what they cook 90% of the time as a vegetarian but it's still kind of fun.

I´m going to work at a rodeo. I feel that I´m selling out because of all the animal cruelty, but I owe more than 70 dollars to the bank :(

BOSS: "You do know Tarantino didn't even write half of his movies, right?"

ME: "Uh, I think he actually wrote all of them."

BOSS: "No, dude, he totally didn't."

ME: "What ones didn't he write?"

BOSS: "I don't know, I can't remember all his movies."

ME: "Well he wrote Reservoir Dogs, pretty sure he co-wrote Pulp Fiction with Roger Avary, he wrote Jackie Brown based on an Elmore Leonard novel..."

BOSS: "Jackie Brown sucks though."

ME: "I love Jackie Brown, but anyway, he wrote Kill Bill, Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds, so yeah, pretty sure that's all of them."

BOSS: "No, that doesn't sound right to me. He hasn't even done anything in about ten years, he's just been producing a bunch of Japanese movies."

ME: "Well, he did both Kill Bills, Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds in the past ten years, and he's working on Django Unchained."

BOSS: "Jenga what?"

ME: "Django Unchained, a movie he wrote and directed. Like all those other ones."

BOSS: "No man, I went to film school, and I remember we had a debate about Tarantino, and I totally remember like half of his movies he didn't write. I hate having these debates with you because I have to go do research and I don't have time to do that right now."

ME: "Well let me do that for you..."

I whipped out my phone, looked it up, and guess what folks?

ME: "Yep, says here he wrote or co-wrote every movie he has directed."

BOSS: "What about, what was it, Grindhouse?"

ME: "Yeah, Grindhouse was two movies, he did Death Proof, Robert Rodriguez did Planet Terror."

BOSS: "Grindhouse was shitty anyway."

ME: "I liked it, but either way he still wrote the one of those he directed."

BOSS: "No way, I need to check wikipedia later."

ME: "I'm telling you I'm on wikipedia right now and it says he wrote every movie he directed. I love Quentin Tarantino and I know what I'm talking about."

BOSS: "Dude, you're talking to a guy who's seen probably 20,000 movies in his lifetime."

ME: "20,000 movies? You haven't seen 20,000 movies, come on."

BOSS: "No, dude seriously, at least 10,000, probably way more than that. That's all I did when I was a kid."

ME: "Well, that doesn't change the fact Tarantino wrote every movie he directed."

BOSS: "Tarantino's a hack anyway. Look, man, I'd love to keep discussing this but I'm busy."

...

So yeah he's kind of an insufferable cunt.

Oh man, and did I tell you about the time he tried to convince us that if you multiply something by zero it cancels out and you end up with the number you started with...

Apparently he's some kind of a maths genius, he used to do equations when he was a kid and his teacher was like "how did you do this? this is a totally crazy way of working this out, but it's totally the right answer." Yeah fucking right.

And one day I mention that Google indexes Craigslist and he's like "no it doesn't" and I'm like "well, it does" and he says "no it doesn't dude, I'm an SEO engineer."

NO YOU'RE NOT A FUCKING SEO ENGINEER. YOU READ A FUCKING PARAGRAPH ON SEO ONE FUCKING TIME YOU FUCKING IDIOT. YOUR CRAIGSLIST ADS LOOK LIKE THEY WERE WRITTEN BY A FUCKING HALF BRAIN-DEAD MORON.

I liked deathproof. I thought it was the better of the grind house pair. Plus, lets face it. Kurt Russell was bad fucking ass In it. I love that black nova he had.

I saw grind house in a theatre with only 3 other people in it.,It was both sad and cool at the same time. We four bonded that day....

Deathproof is the better film... Kurt was awsome as the stalker hunting down his prey, it was well paced and written... And then in the second half of the film, now knowing how he works and whats going to happen, having it flipped on us and seeing it happen to him!! Fan-bloomin-tastic i say!
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:
Hey, what are you doing here?
and im just like:
Oh you know, hunting elephants

Deathproof was good, but my favorite of the teratology is Hobo w/ A Shotgun (it started out as a trailer so it counts).

I love that whole thing with with his little book, and things being not okay in it. Also when he gets his comeuppance.

I've been digging through some really old music I made, decided to just go right ahead and try and get everything I ever recorded as an "album" out there where nobody can listen to it.

http://smom.bandcamp.com/

On the album Sonic Horridness, on the first track, Cam (forkboy) reads out a bunch of crap at the start of it. And oh boy is it DUMB AS FUCK.

I trully don't understand how a man thinks. The guy I mentioned a few posts back showed up out of nowhere starting conversations with me and desperatly wanting to see me. 1 month goes by, we were chatting almost every day on facebook and he'd always send me hearts and kisses, things like that. Now that I'm in the city he lives, he stopped answering my messages and acts like we hadn't made any plans for the weekend. Why would a person do that? =/ And it's the second time he does that to me.

I also thought that, but twice? If you're already getting into a serious thing with somebody, why would you go after someone else?
Don't understand the logic.
