Scott watched Gia for a while holding Bailey, keeping quiet to allow her the chance to get used to it. Deep down he was hoping that this would help to spark her memory, and he prayed that she would just jump up and yell "I remember." But he knew she wouldn't. For now he would have to settle for the fact that she was trying her best.

He looks across. "Of course they love you. You're their mother after all. You used to be really close with them." He manages a little smile.

Scott shrugs a little. "I think you co-own it or something. You're a competitor of mine so we don't really talk about work all that much. Plus we were always too tired to worry about work after hours." He then laughs a little to himself. "I seem pretty useless here but I have no clue when you go back. I guess you need to call them. The people you work with all seem nice except one guy but that's unimportant.

He nods, a little annoyed that she seems more intrigued by work than the family she forgot. "You made people like Isabel Merjos famous. She's one of the big ones just now. I'd say Pixie as well but she's still new." He nods again. "You have the biggest label I'd say. Probably most high profile. There are a few small ones and then the other big two are mine and the one owned by Ryan Ross Hernandez and Nadia from GirlSpice. I'm sure you know them."

Scott shakes his head. "No one. It doesn't matter. It's all in the past now anyway so there's no need at all to worry about it." He smiles a little as if to try to change the subject.

"Sure you will yeah. And you know if you want the chance to learn how to produce again in future I can teach you how to do it. If you want to only of course." He shrugs. "Do you want to see your room?"

Scott shrugs. "I guessed that you had learned in the last few years then. Sorry." He stands up and takes Bailey before placing her back in the stroller. "Come on then, let's go see your room." He starts to walk out of the room. "Yeah I've produced a lot. I'm working with probably the biggest pop act in the world just now."

He looks back. "Who are who? The pop act? They're a boy band called Weekend. Some great guys and theyre signed to my label." He clears his throat and lifts her bag after checking Sophie is OK and still asleep on the sofa.

He shrugs as he walks up stairs. "Metal? Ah I guess I grew up you know? I grew out of metal and started to appreciate all music. I like a lot of different music now."

Scott comes to a room at the end of the corridor. He pushes the door open. No one had been in here since before they left for the vacation. Scotts boxers and one of Gias bras were lying on the floor at the foot of the bed."I guess we had a bit of fun before we went on vacation," he chuckles. He walks over and lifts both items to toss them in the laundry. He looks at her.

"Well this is your room. I'll be choosing one of the other ones to sleep in. I'll probably be in the furthest one."

Scott nods. "Yes. We are. We were always at it. We were.good as well. If you really want to know, we had just started experimenting with blindfolds and tying each other to the bed and stuff." He laughs a little. "Apparently you like that too."

He smiles and then shakes his head. "Nah I just don't want to disturb you if I'm in the room next door. You should have privacy or something."

Scott smirks. "Yeah....you certainly used to scream loud enough at it." He smiles as he remembers. "Ummmm.....oh cool," he says. "Yeah sure ummm get some sleep."

He smiles at her. "Nah I'm gonna move their cribs in beside me so if they wake up I'll know straight away. You don't have to worry, I'll make sure they're OK." He nods. "Well if you want to make yourself some breakfast, the fridge is pretty well stocked. Anything you normally do in the morning? Normally you give your husband a blowjob. Nah I'm only joking. I can't think of anything but feel free to do what you like." He smiles at her.

Scott shakes his head.

"I just..its not that at all. I just don't want to give you unnecessary stress while you're trying to work out most of your life still." He smiles a little.

"Anyway, have a good sleep and I'm sure I'll see you tomorrow." He goes down stairs before bringing both kids upstairs and putting them in their cribs. When they are both settled, he switches the baby monitor on and takes it downstairs with him, where he brings his whisky and shot glass into the lounge, pouring a drink and downing it in one as he turns on the TV.

Scott waited after he put the girls to bed to see if Gia was OK. He walked along the hallways on his way towards the stairs and heard her get ready for bed. A short while later he heard her climb into bed and then heard her breathing become deep and constant, so he knew she was relaxed and asleep. After this, Scott smiles to himself and comes downstairs.

Grabbing the whisky bottle and pouring himself one as he sits in the living room, Scott tilts his head back and feels the burning in the back of his throat. He turns on the TV as he tries to shake the sensation. Its unpleasant in its warmth and he screws his face up at the taste. He may be drinking whisky, but that didn't mean he didn't dislike it immensely. The only reason he drank it was to numb the pain, the incessant pain in his heart that told him his beautiful wife was upstairs but a million miles away. The same pain that said the love of his life was asleep in their bed, but he couldn't touch her or hold her. He turned on the TV and shook his head as he knocked back another whisky shot.

Scott watched the TV blankly for a while as he knocked back glass after glass of the liquor. Sure, there were sports on TV and normally this would have grabbed his attention. Not now though. Now all he wanted was to forget his sadness. Tears were streaming almost constantly as he subconsciously remembered every minute of their relationship up until that heartbreaking moment when Gia had banged her head. In just one second, the whole of their love and their family had been erased from her mind. Was it gone forever? He knocked back another and shook his head. It didn't even bear thinking about.

For the next few hours, Scott stared blankly at the screen as he continued to drink. He lost count of how many he had, and he didn't much care anyway. All he could tell after a while was that it was too much, as the TV and then the room would go out of focus. He kept drinking though, undeterred by his worsening eyesight, and egged on by the thoughts of despair that filled his mind.

A few hours later, Scott found himself awakening on the sofa at home. He yawned a little and then jerked awake as he realised that the sun was beaming down on his face. "Shit!" He said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He hoped no one had seen him like this. He had never intended to fall asleep here. He was supposed to have a few and go to bed. When he stood up, he felt the whisky affecting his head and he stumbled a little. He took the bottle and went to the kitchen, putting it in the cupboard and hiding the evidence he had ever been drinking it.

Heading upstairs, Scott stopped for a moment to listen and make sure Gia was still asleep. Her breathing said she was and he breathed a sigh of relief that he had not been caught. Next he stopped by the girls room to check they were OK and found both were still sound asleep and peaceful. He sighed and placed a kiss on each of their heads before he went to his own room.

Scott looked at the time. It would be time to get up soon. He had no doubt Gia would be awake in less than two hours, but he had to get a little sleep. Taking his shirt and trousers off, he climbs into bed for the short sleep he knows will not come now, as he stares at the ceiling and waits for morning.
