By far one of my favourite music decades, (along with the 90's), the 80's had been one of rock's greatest years. Although, near the end, it started to die down due to people seeing some Glam Rock movie that petrified people about horrible habits of Glam Rockers (Glam Rock was big at the time) and other rockstars. Here are my top 5 favourite 80's songs: xNightsidex: Again, what have I said about multiple youtube embeds in one post? Don't do it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3EmA-eJPxs"Roxanne"-The Police [1980] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uD17tNip1s"Lullaby"-The Cure [1989] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwK6nemVSQQ"Sunday Bloody Sunday"-U2 [1983] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1bn7yK53JA"Ticket To the Moon"-Electric Lights Orchestra [1981] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZEuzxM3_Uk"Personal Jesus"-Depeche Mode [1989] Edited by moderator 22 July 2009 08:49:08(UTC)

The eighties were the best (for me anyway) for one reason: xNightsidex: LINK to multiple videos, don't embed them and cause everyones' browsers to have a fit. REMOVED.Ah... The best years of their lives. Edited by moderator 22 July 2009 08:50:23(UTC)

Too much leather chair is unsightly and greatly increases your risk of leather-smell. |

The 80s is by far my least favourite musical and cultural decade. Aside from the American new-wave and no-wave scenes, and bands that still existed from earlier I really have very little interest in the 80s. |

I would've added Depeche Mode, The Police, Led Zippelin (although they were better in the 70s) & U2 to the list. Also the albums, Black Celebration, October, The Joshua Tree, and all of the 80's Police albums and Cure albums. |
