erich opens the door to the bus. "we have got the fattest fucking cat canada had to offer! " he announces with much gusto.
"bow before deitrich the ....some german word i cant remember,cat!"

erich thinks for a minute." i think you cant feed them after midnight.i dont think it matters what you feed them...except for chocolate."

dietrich hears "cat" and feed" and starts mewing greedily.

"we forgot to buy food..we're going to have to feed someone to this cat.he didnt get this fat by not eating human." erich says visably afraid for his life.

erich scratches dietrich's ear. "how could you say no to this face? i'd feed him before i feed myself." erich suddenly looks very afraid.
"we've all seen cat's eye. do you think there are little trolls that steal people's breath? if so,i offer deitrich to watch over your unborn child,sam. "

deitrich looks pleased to be petted and purrs loudly,he smells sam's hand for traces of food.

erich nods."its the least i can do as god father." erich looks rather serious for a second. "mr fischer. um,i was speaking to erica the other day,whom spoke to nina before that.and...uh,castor is like super pissed about my being god father."

erich nervously runs the comb through his hair."really? i alway assumed you picked me,and she picked erica." erich pets deitrich under the chin. "it seems nichole is the godmother of castor and nina's daughter.....so i guess castor assumed she'd return the favor. i dunno,he may be over it now...but i think someone should tell her,so it isnt a surprise when she gets to detroit.'

erich shrugs." castor is a....difficult cat.dont get me wrong,i like the man. but it some ways he seems to be the anti nichole. nichole is a sweetie. there seems to be a certain...coldness to him." he shrugs again." but,nina loves him. so he must be doing somethng right."

erich thinks for a minute."from the third hand knowledge i have,he is quite miffed. just to smooth things over...i wouldnt mind if,you know.you guys went with him.neither of us has to work with the guy. nichole does.then again,who knows? she knows him better than we do.questioning her judgment might just piss her the fuck off."

erich sighs and nods. "yeah,that would be a pretty shitty reason for doing it. i'm sure nichole has her reasons for why she chose me." erich hesitates for a minute,then takes a long drink from his flask. "erica told me that castor is of the idea that nichole chose me out of spite,for him getting married to nina....hopefully that was just his anger getting the better of him." dietrich rolls over on his back on the table,begging someone to pet his belly.

erich nods." i dont think she would either.that would be some heartless shit,and she doenst strike me as having that evil streak.just give her a gentle heads up.if i recall,she and castor live in the same building." erich chuckles. "we should rename the duke,the love boat. seems just about everyone that boarded found love...aside from neil and jeff....poor bastards."

"tony and chloe are.....they are quite a pair.he is great for chloe,she usually pretends to be a total air head because she thinks that what people like...drummers are simple folk,you know. they are real people like you and i. no no.when they are cut,they bleed a sort of grey green ooze and not blood." thinking for a second,erich asks," neil is weird? i never noticed.
