erich starts to get a chair out,then thinks better of it. "uh,i better not.i dont think i could do it like liza." he cracks up.

"i think you'll be this generation's liza." erich says with a smile.he thinks for a bit."i'll eat anything we can get together...except for vegetables.i am morally opposed to vegetables. how about some grits?" he asks getting the bag down and humming "dont sit under the apple tree."

erich grins. "i thought you were making breakfast?! why dont i just put on one of your dresses right here and now?" he says playfully and starts the water for the grits. " now,you see...no self respecting southerner eats isntant grits. so throw those fuckers right out of your head." he also gets the butter out of the fridge. "so....have you decided if you are going or staying?" he asks

erich adds the grits to the boiling water and nods slowly,staring at the swirling bits of corn. "ok ada. i can see exactly what you are saying. just promise me....you'll come back.i love you and want the best for you,even if it isnt with me." erich stirs the grits to keep occupied.

erich puts the top of the pot of grits before putting his hands on ada's arms. " you sure you do? because it seems almost as if i am the source of the problem." he squeezes her arms softly.

erich sighs softly when her lips touch his back."i guess" he says quietly. "how long have you....?" he shrugs,not wanting to say the word.

erich turns around and holds ada tightly. "really?! i'd have never guessed,ada." he kisses her forehead."you always seem so sweet and happy."

erich hugs her again. " i've heard of it,but never knew anyone with it." he kisses the top of her head,getting a mouthful of hair with a misplaced inhale. "have you....have you had to leave before?" he asks gently.

"well,i will have to remind to you take your medicine.i'm already dreading you being gone.i can imagine you are REALLY dreading going to the hospital." erich adds in a small voice. " you will trust me while you are gone?"

erich smiles and laughs. "trust me,even when you arent around. there are several pairs of eyes watching out for you. erica simply adores you and would shoot me on the spot if i was to be untrue to you." erich nods and holds ada's hands. "i've understood you being emotional,the moment you were upset of those canadian groupies,even though i turned them flatly down." erich kisses her hand. "i'll wait as long as it takes,ada." erich says seriously.
