Oscar and Eilidh lay in bed. It was the longest they had slept since Roo was born as she usually woke them up several times a night with her ear piercing crying. She had slept the whole night through and was starting to cry less now. Oscar kisses the back of Eilidh's neck and puts his arms around her waist

Oscar is cleaning the house whilst playing some music. He seemed very happy as he sang his way around the living room. Over the past few weeks he had been feeling very stressed and even though he was grown up, 18 years old and his own person, Oscar felt intimidated by Billy. Going into the studio with him made him feel like a little child going to school filled with bullies. He dreaded it and even the thought of being around Billy churned his stomach. Since leaving the band, he seemed more upbeat. |

Eilidh is sat in the kitchen trying to get Roo to sleep. When the baby drifts off and cuddles into her chest, Eilidh stands up carefully and goes through to the room, where she places her in her crib. She smiles and kisses her forehead before coming back through to the living room. She felt a little uneasy in the house at the moment. As usual, Eilidh was confused. She knew that Oscar had left Weekend, but she had no real idea why. She couldn't work it out, and she wanted to be able to. As such though, she couldn't really gauge how he really felt. She heard Oscar in the living room, and walked in slowly.
"Hi Oscar..." she says quietly. |
