Ada wakes in the middle of the night with a jump. "Nein!" She screams in her sleep as she sits up, her hair flying around her. It takes her a few moments to realize that she's on the Duke, and not in her uncle's house. "Ach, Gott in Himmell..." She whispers to herself, rubbing her eyes and burying her face in her hands.
