Nichole walks into the kitchen, smiling at all of them. "Here, I'll help you," She says, following Rose in the French toast conquest. "I'm going to be a mother soon anyway."

Ada stands back and watches the two.

Nichole smirks. "Between you and me, I don't know how to cook or clean. At all. Literally, just... Not at all. When I was growing up, we had hired help that cooked and cleaned for me," She admits. Ever since Nichole entered the music world, she had never admitted to anybody that she grew up in a wealthy family.

Nichole lets out a little giggle. "It's kind of a stupid reason, honestly. When I was, like, six, my mom took me to see RENT. Horrible decision. I mean, it's a show about AIDS and strippers and drugs, and I was six. But I remember seeing their apartment in the show and beings like, 'Yeah! Starving artist! That's the way I want to live!'" She turns back to Rose and shrugs. "I'm still living out my childhood fantasies at age twenty-one. Don't mind me."

Rose can't help but laugh. "I think that's wonderful, dear! And at least we know Sam doesn't want to marry you for the money. He's quite smitten with you."
Sam tries to help Erich do battle with the coffee maker but it appears that the machine is meant to win. "When was the last time you made coffee, Erich?" sam says, trying not to laugh.

"Just a couple days ago. I make ada coffee all the time. I think this machine Is possessed." He Starts making the sign of the cross an. Uttering "the power of christ compels you!"

Nichole smiles at Rose. "Just wait. You've seen me on my good days," She says back with a wink as she puts the first piece of bread on the pan.

"And you've seen me on mine, dear," Rose says, laughing. "I'm a mother. I can be scary if I want to."
"I think my mom's views on you have...improved greatly already, Erich," Sam says. "You don't need to go out of your way for her."

Sam smiles and shakes his head. "I think you're just making better decisions when to be yourself and when to be...less yourself," he says, and laughs.

" thats a good way to state it." Erich laughs to sam. "Look at us,a couple of family men...hey,whos watching dietrich?!"

Erich sheepishly nods to ada."if youd be so kind,my dear. Its being A Real bastard."

"We brought Dietrich with us, actually. Is it safe to let him out of his carrier on the ship, though?" Sam says. "French toast is done!" Rose exclaims, bringing a plate stacked high with french toast to the table. "Eat up! You're all much too skinny!"she says in her most motherly tone.
