"Trent will be okay," Derrick says. "He's a tough guy. I just hope Vara's okay. Trent being okay depends entirely on her being okay," he says, and shivers. "Jeez, Canada is cold."
Trent nods and gets on the couch with her, holding her. "Why didn't you just tell me you were mad at me?" he asks after a while. |
