"Comedy" music is one huge mistake, with only a handful of good examples. Weird Al is certainly one of those, the first time you hear it, when you are 12. After that, not so much.

People even seem to start bands and then spend ages trying to think what the name will be. For me, the name comes first, and that suggests the music. Nowadays the fashion is for half-sentences like "You Me At Six", "Does it Offend You Yeah?" or "Get Cape Wear Cape Fly" which really pisses me off greatly for some unknown reason. It's gotten to the point I can almost tell how much I will hate a band simply by their name, and the examples where I have been surprised I can count on probably one hand.
