The multi-instrumentalist and songwriter will play 17 different dates across Scotland, England and Wales, taking in some of the best small venues around the country. Known for being one of the most talented and hardest working musicians in the industry, Talley has embarked on a solo career in the early part of 2013 that has thrown him into a spotlight he has never craved nor chased in his life so far. Fresh from the release of his debut solo single Silver Linings, which went to number one in both the Airplay and Digital Top 20 Charts, Talley is set to release his debut EP, and will tour the UK to celebrate the release of his first record after breaking out of the shackles of his shyness and his position as "the other guy in Blood of Wecz." With widespread praise for his first single, and a large fanbase from his previous projects, the shows are sure to be in high demand, and fans are advised to get their hands on tickets when they go on sale at 9AM Thursday morning (March 7th). Making up the band that will back Mark Talley will be his Blood of Wecz bandmate Josh Meyer, who will play drums for each of the shows, and long time friends Jarek Blaszcykowski(bass) and Stevie Brewster (guitar), and representatives of the indie star have been quick to quash early rumours that Blood of Wecz legend Scott RH would also be hitting the stage. Support for the tour will come in the shape of talented young Londoner Aimee Rose, who has had an eventful start to her career, releasing critically acclaimed singles and going on to perform live at the 7th Chaos Awards in February. Also joining the party will be punk veterans The Harlots, fronted by the ever-eccentric Erica Hess, who take a break from their busy recording schedule to take part on the tour. Speaking of the impending UK jaunt, Talley told Rocksound Magazine: "I'm both excited and nervous about this at the same time, which is a profoundly strange sensation. On one hand, the spotlight falls on me to prove myself as a vocalist and a performer night after night without having the security of Scott beside me as I have for the majority of my career. One the other hand, though, I'm pumped about the chance to get out there, show my own skills and to prove that I can do this on my own as well as being part of a band. I can't wait to debut some new songs, show off a lot of what I've been working on for a long time and release my EP. It's a busy year, and this is the perfect way to bring what is just the first chapter of it to a close. "I'm excited to be joined by The Harlots and Aimee on this tour as well. I know both of them very well, and they are great performers. The Harlots know what they are doing and they will bring a fantastic energy to each of the shows, while Aimee has a powerful voice, I mean it's massive, that will just blow people away. "I think the best part of all of this though is the chance to get out and see my fans. I joined Blood of Wecz when they were already playing arena size shows, so I've literally never had the chance to enjoy a stage of this size before. I imagine it'll be a lot more intimate and up close than in the larger venues we play with the band, so I can't wait to be able to see all the faces in the front few rows. It's an exciting time for me altogether, and I feel privileged to have the chance to do this. UK fans have always been some of the kindest to me and provide some of the best atmospheres anywhere in the world. I've always loved playing in England and Scotland, and I can't wait to get back to cities like London, Manchester, and of course, Edinburgh; I might be American, but that place still feels special, being the place Blood of Wecz was formed all those years ago." With his upcoming wedding to Layla Raine in April, and album and tour commitments with Blood of Wecz due to kick in from May, this UK Tour will be one of the only chances fans get to see Mark Talley live and solo in 2013. And with his solo career set to take off in the months to come, this might be a rare opportunity to see the legendary guitarist in some fantastic and intimate venues. Tickets go on sale from 9AM Thursday March 7th. Prices will be £16.50 (s.t.b.f) and £20.50 (s.t.b.f) in London and can be purchased from See Tickets, Ticketmaster and local outlets. Fans can pre-order a special Bronze bundle costing £28, giving them a ticket to the concert of their choice and a copy of Mark's EP on release date. A special Silver edition will cost £50, consisting of a ticket, a copy of the EP, and a limited edition Mark Talley tshirt. Finally, the Gold package will include one ticket, plus an EP, a limited edition tshirt, a signed copy of the tour poster (as seen above) and a meet and greet with Mark Talley. While we have the pure power of the vocals of Aimee and the madcap punk energy from the Harlots, I think the crowd will also love the sort of quirky technicalities and the sort of aura that arcades bring to the table. Quote: This is a great coup for the tour and for me, and I'm really happy to have PURE joining us for this run. Ryan Williams has, without a shadow of a doubt, been one of the best young artists to hit the scene in the last few years, and MLC were an absolute favourite of mine. He has shown a great potential with his new band as well, and to have them joining us as a support act is brilliant. Every crowd from Edinburgh to London is in for a treat. This is true talent, innovation and originality, and I'm sure the crowd will love them. These sell out gigs are going to be tremendous. I can't wait to see these guys live on stage in action, and I also immensely look forward to the chance to hang out with them. It's going to be great, and to secure such a tremendous act late in the day is something that has really brightened up my weekend. Six days to go. The countdown continues!

Why the captains log of course! I know, I know. That joke is so old,you laughed and fell off your dinosaur. We are enjoying our last moments of freedom before the tour officially starts. We stuffed ourselves silly on good food. Once we are on the road,it's stuff slightly better than a strip club buffet. I always wondered who cooks that food. Is it b list strippers,or girls not pretty and coordinated enough to be dancers? Are they nude? Are tiny hair nets for kitties involved? It truly boggles the mind. I'll be sad to leave Edinburgh. It's such a pretty place. In spite of birthing the exploited ...I don't get it. What's the appeal of this band? For all my street punk needs,the business to more than fits the bill.in fact, I think we'll throw in a cover of "Harry may" into our set list. That is a lovely tune. It feels good knowing this time tomorrow,I'll be on stage,dodging water bottles and having a great time. I hope mark knows what he is in for with us on your! See you tomorrow,love Erica.

We've just finished up our practice for the start of tour, tomorrow in EDINBURGH! We arrived in Scotland this morning and are really just buoyed by this whole occasion. Neither of us have played in the UK before so this will be pretty special. Also.. well, we've never played shows this big before as a band! We've played a few free gigs back in the States but never something of this magnitude, so for that, we're stoked. Tomorrow we will look forward to watching Mark and the rest of the guys play. But most of all, seeing all of you beautiful people and meeting you all. Tonight however, we will christen Edinburgh with our Yankee madness. We're popping down to a bar called 'Lloyds' so if you wanna come say hi, or join us for a drink, come on down! PURE

Awright? That was my best attempt at being Scottish. Sorry I won't try it again. Day one of the tour today officially even though we all met up last night for the first time and I have to say I am mega stoked. We've already arrived at the Liquid Room for the show and there are some people milling around already. Its crazy. I managed to sneak out earlier for a cigarette and a walk up the Grassmarket while everyone was asleep and its snowing! I did not expect that. The city of Edinburgh really is sensational and beautiful and historic. It makes me feel special to be back in the city where Blood of Wecz was formed all those years ago. It puts a sort of eerie pressure on me though because I know the people of Edinburgh still see Scott as one of their own, someone they are immensely proud of and so I have to live up to the Blood of Wecz name tonight. Nerves. Last night was a typical first night of tour. Very fun and some people were very very drunk. I have to say that out of all the guys I've met here so far, everyone is awesome. The Harlots are just as I expected....intense. Also Erica's wife is a bit scary, but she seems nice. Aimee is a sweet girl as well and PURE are some top dudes. I was stoked to meet Ryan last night for the first time. Dude is like an amazing musician so it was an honor to meet him at last. The party got a bit wild, although I was sober. So fad only Erica and Josh Meyer have surfaced from the bunks. Josh was so wasted last night and this morning he has what he calls "a perpetual erection". The suggestion is that some jester slipped a Viagra in his beer. Classic tour bantz. What can you say? Shortly I'll make some bacon and sausages before everyone gets up and then I'm gonna go out meet some Mark Talley fans, which is very very exciting. I haven't been in tonights venue yet, but people tell me its one of the best small venues in the Country so I'm excited about that. Edinburgh crowds are awesome too. Always. So it will be a special night. Hope to see you all soon, but for now I better get to the mommy Mark duties.
