"Will you promise not to be too much of a distraction for me?" Kourtney says laughing. "I'll try not to be one for you."

"Yeah, its silly of me to ask. I know." Kourtney laughs. "Thanks. Oh! I have another question. Should we keep this a secret?"

"Yea, you're probably right. I don't either but I just don't want the media to ruin everything you know."

"They really got mad? Wow." Kourtney thinks to herself for a moment. "That's the last thing I want to do. Ugh! Why does this have to be so complicated?"

Kourtney smiles slightly. "Thanks. You're always so sweet." She sighs as they continue walking down the street holding hands. "Okay. Lets just keep it between us and when we get back to LA, we can tell everyone together." She suddenly stops dead in her tracks, realizing something. She looks around, panicking. "Omg! If we're trying to keep this a secret, do you think anyone saw us? Do you see any paparazzi following?"

Kourtney sighs in relief and starts walking again. "Good. You know, I don't think that I'm cut out for this living in secret thing" she says laughing at herself about what just happened.

"You're right." Kourtney smiles and points up ahead. "There's the park."

Kourtney playfully rolls her eyes. "Nope." She starts laughing. "Why Jase, are you winking at me sexually?" she says mocking him. She looks around, taking it all in. "Yup. One of the best parks I've ever seen."

Kourtney laughs. "You shouldn't be winking like that at all silly." She continues looking around until she spots a bench over by some trees. "Hey, lets go sit down over there and talk."

Jordan Schroeder yawns loudly as he walks down the street with the hood of his sweater pulled over his head. He had been forced out of bed in the morning by Envy Pilgrim to attend a band meeting with the rest of Reckless Abandon. He was hungover, still feeling the effects of the night before and the hood stopped the sun getting in his eyes.

As he walks home to hit his bed again, Jordan looks over and sees the coffee House he had passed most days since moving to this neighbourhood. Feeling fragile, he enters and pulls his hood down, ordering a black coffee. When he is served he gives a weak smile and then makes for the door. As he steps outside, the door swings and clips his elbow, knocking the cup on the floor. 'Fuck' he yells and shakes his head.
