Title: Never Really Mattered
Label: Five Pesky Kids
Genre: Pop, synthpop
Length: 3:25
Writers: Dana McGuire, Michael Black, Alexis Grey
Producer: Michael Black
Released: 11th Febraury 2013

Never Really Mattered is the 3rd single from pop girl group SYNCO after releasing Treat Your Girl Right which was written and produced by Nevaeh Martinez as their first single and Rock The Night as their second single the girls have said this will be the last single until the full album comes out they performed this track for the first time at the Chaos Awards VII where they were also nominated for best newcomer and the youngest of the group Layla Sanchez was a co-host the girls performance was called magical and compared to the mad hatters tea party in Alice in the Wonderland the song was written by professional writers Dana McGuire and Michael Black and also by group member Alexis Grey who also wrote on the groups second single "Rock The Night" the girls have worked with pretty big names in the music industry already and they've accomplished quite a lot for being so new and only knowing each other for a few months it's safe to say these girls have a very bright future ahead of them the song has a very different sound to it than the previous two singles as their debut was pop with a bit of R&B in it their second single was more of a pop-dance track and this one has a very unique sound to it it has these airy sort of synths in it and this really nice beat to it that goes well with the girls voices which is surprising since the girls haven't done anything like this before yet the song is started out with the girls harmonizing amazingly as they sing the "Oh's" in this odd but great harmony after they finish harmonizing together the eldest of the girls Nicole comes in singing in her more theatrical voice which people didn't always love however she sounded rather good as she continued singing her part after she finished the lead vocalist of the group and co-writer of the song Alex Grey came in she had a very rich and mature voice that people usually fell in love with easily she was easily the best singer in the group everyone loved how she had power in her voice and she could control it unlike Jamie who was the powerhouse but would lose control of her voice at certain times her voice wasn't as unique as Layla's but just as likeable maybe even more the girls then come back in and harmonize with Alex as they sang "but I guess my best wasn't enough" together sounding amazing they had a sort of unique harmony together that sounded really good Alex then finished her verse and it went over to Layla who sang the pre-chorus she had an amazingly unique voice, look and personality that really drew people into her more Alex may have been the lead vocalist but it was safe to say Layla is the most popular of the girls having more followers on Twitter and people have listed her as their favorite as well Layla's voice is very unique she's amazing at riffs and runs and tends to them at any chance given however her voice may just come off as a bit annoying to some after Layla finished up the pre-chorus the girls all come in with that unique harmony that sounded really amazing as they sang "It never really mattered" over and over again it then went to the "Oh's" which they seemed to do amazing live and recorded after the chorus was finished it went to Naomi who took the whole second verse she had a pretty good voice maybe not the most powerful or unique but her voice is pretty good and she adds a lot to the harmonies which probably wouldn't sound the same without her she sings in that sort of laid back blousy voice that we're use to as the girls all harmonize and back her up with the "Woah-oh-oh-oh's" after she finishes her part it goes back to the pre-chorus where Layla takes over once again singing in her unique voice but adding more power to it this time around they sang the chorus once again the same with those unique and beautiful harmonies after the chorus finished it went over to Jamie who easily had the most powerful voice of the group the only problem with her was the lack of control over it however she's only the second youngest in the group and has plenty time to work on that she sang her part amazingly going higher and higher with each "Anything" until she finally reached the last one she held it for quite some time as well in a really high pitch her voice and personality were quite different from each other she had the most powerful and loud voice of the girls but was also the shyest of them after Jamie finished her part Layla came in and the beat sounded almost like people clapping and a drum repeating over and over again which sounded good she sang "I'm not sorry" over and over again with that unique voice until she reached "And I'm gonna be alright" when she had sang that part she showed off a little more of the power in her voice the girls all came back in again singing the "Oh's" this time instead of starting the other way they harmonized amazingly not perfectly but still amazingly until they had finished the song and it came to an end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah

Brought to me knees reality is a killer
Covered my eyes I didn't want to see it

I'd rather live in a lie I tried my best
I really did I mean it
but I guess my best wasn't enough
I've given my all but it was always uneven

But I found out, oh But I found out that

It never really mattered, it never really mattered
It never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah

After awhile all the crying was over (Woah-oh-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh-oh)
I finally had stopped thinking about you (Woah-oh-oh-oh)
Letting it all go I've let go of the memories they're all under the water (Woah-oh-oh-oh)

I didn't need you, oh I was finally through

It never really mattered, it never really mattered
It never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah

Baby I would have gave you everything, I would have gave you anything yeah
I would have gave you anything

I'm not sorry, no I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry
I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry, No I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry
And I'm gonna be alright

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah
But I found out, oh But I found out that
It never really mattered, it never really mattered
It never really mattered, it never really mattered, it never really
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ah

Sounds like

Title: Treat Your Girl Right
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B
Length: 3:44
Written By: Nevaeh Martinez
Released: 5th December 2012

It's been not long after a month since 5 unknown talented beautiful girls auditioned for a talent show/documentary Weekend: The Big Search and made the cuts the 5 girls are now known by many people those 5 girls are Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Naomi White and Nicole Wright also known as SYNCO the 5 girls auditioned for the show knowing they'd be put into a girl group they knew they'd be auditioning in front of 5 of the biggest guys in music Billy Khan, Dustyn Blue, Oscar Ward, Riley Hamilton and Scott Wellington together they make one of the biggest groups in music right now Weekend Weekend has done many big things in the industry in such a short period of time they've had 2 #1 albums 4 top 5 singles they've been on a world tour they've been nominated for Chaos and Fan Choice Awards one of them (Billy Khan) has won Celebrity Big Brother season 3 then they had Weekend: The Big Search and they pretty much brought back the boy band it's definitely safe to say they are one of the biggest names in the music industry right now and they wanted a girl group that could possibly as big as they currently are over a thousand girls auditioned for the group and there was plenty of amazingly talented girls but out of the thousands of girls that were auditioned these 5 were the clear stand outs with each of their unique voices, styles and personalities they could possibly the female version of Weekend not to mention they've already picked up a rather big fan base due to the show now they're coming to us with their debut single "Treat Your Girl Right" the track as written and produced by co-owner of Studio60 records Nevaeh Martinez Nevaeh has become quite a big name in the industry herself producing tracks for huge names like Dominic Brown, Cassie Valentine, Alicia Lena and most recently Aubrey Mikkel Nevaeh heard of the girls on the show then contacted them as she had written a song that she felt would probably fit the girls well the song has a sorta uptempo sassy R&B sound to it the song starts out with the groups most powerful vocalist Jamie who begins singing in a more toned down voice than we're use to not hitting the amazingly high and powerful notes she usually would it then goes to the next part where Naomi starts to sing in her natural voice she isn't singing too low or too high just so her voice sounds perfect at this point it then goes to Alexis who is also known to have a very powerful voice but she's also toning it down a bit as she sings the pre-chorus she begins to go a little higher on the "OoOoh"'s but still not to her full potential it then get's to the chorus where all the girls are now singing harmonizing with each other perfectly their different voices compliment each other surprisingly well Layla then begins to sing with her unique vocals which most people tend to fall in love with as she sings "Why is it that you keep pushin me further And further" the girls then begin to harmonize together again but Nicole can be heard in the back more than the others singing "Walkin round'" she also sounds well depending on if you like her voice or not as she has a unique voice that not everyone will like a lot it then goes to Jamie who is now showing more of the power in her voice as she sings "With a lonely heart Why don't you treat your girl right" she almost sounds something like Beyonce would the girls then sing the last part of the chorus together agan and it cuts to the next verse where Layla is singing with less power here as the others did it then goes back to the pre-chorus with Alexis again she's singing it higher than last time it then cuts back to the chorus where the girls are heard harmonizing once again but this time Layla and Jamie belt out their parts sounding amazing anyone would be totally surprised to find out that these two girls are the youngest in the group the girls continue singing as the song eventually fades out the girls have gotten better since being on the show they've clearly improved on their harmonizing and vocals a lot so maybe they could become a female version of Weekend overall this song was very well done the production was amazing the lyrics were great and catchy and the girls' vocals were amazing

All

You pulled from me
But where ya goin'
You told me
This isn't workin
You really walked out on me
I wasn't asking you to go
Why won't you walk me home
You always leave me alone

One week, my heart was broken
Your back with me
And now I'm stressin
Cause your out and about
With your boys at her house
You won't answer phone
Guess who's alone?

There's something you need to learn
Ooh Yes
Listen closely
Before this ends
OoOoh
OoOoh

Treat your girl right
Cause you so called love her
But you hurt her?

Why is it that you keep pushin me further
And further

You'll be the another one (Walkin round')
With a lonely heart
Why don't you treat your girl right
You say love her
But you hurt her

We start over
The trust is buildin'
You start your games
The trust goes sinkin'
Cause the love I give to you
Will never be mutual
This video game
Your playing with my head
Is coming to an end

There's something you need to learn
Ooh Yes
Listen closely
Before this ends
OoOoh
OoOoh

Treat your girl right
Cause you so called love her
But you hurt her?

Why is it that you keep pushin me further
And further

You'll be the another one (Walkin round')
With a lonely heart
Why don't you treat your girl right
You say love her
But you hurt her

Red Light is the fourth track on pop girl group SYNCO's debut album "High Speed" this is one of the first songs that the girls had written and recorded together back in the way earlier days of SYNCO the song was also supposed to be their debut single until Nevaeh Martinez came to them with the song "Treat Your Girl Right" which they decided on going with instead of this one this song has a very poppish feel to it it's one of those songs you can listen to whilst driving in the car or at home with your friends the song has a very catchy beat to it and the girls' vocals all sound really fun and really good despite this being the first song that they had ever recorded together the song makes many references to driving and cars but the meaning is taking a relationship slow and not moving too fast which is quite obvious the lead vocalist of the group Alex Grey opens the song after the fun intro is finished she is usually known for her more mature and even sometimes seductive vocals however on this song she sings a bit different it sounded a bit more fun than usual the maturity and deepness in her voice can still be heard but it also sounds fun which goes well for this type of song after Alex finishes up the first verse of the song all the girls come in for the chorus Alex's voice can be hear just a little above the others even though they're all singing the girls sound really great together after the chorus is finished it goes to the second verse which Layla takes she has a very unique voice and is amazing with her riffs and runs and really shows that here as she sings her personality and voice seemed to match the part perfectly Layla's voice seemed to be one of the most popular voices in the group but also one of the most disliked her unique voice might seem really amazing to some or kind of annoying to others in big parts after Layla finishes her part of the song the girls all kick back in and sing the chorus the same way it was sang the first time with all of them singing together but Alex's voice being heard just a little more above the other girls the beat then get's a little slower but still has a very upbeat sound as we approach the bridge where Jamie comes in Jamie could probably have been the best singer in the group if she had more control over her voice she had a very mature voice that gets compared to the likes of Beyoncé and Leona Lewis very often she was in a way like a mix between them but with a little less control however she sounded amazing as she sang her part here after she finished the bridge she held the "Road" part throughout the chorus as the other girls continued singing which sounded amazing the girls then finally finished up the song and the sound of the girls giggling can be heard at the very end with no more beat or anything before it officially comes to an end

Top down cruising on the highway of love
The radio is loud but I'm still turning it up
Got time to waste cause I'm still young
Don't wanna drive straight past all of the
Fun feel the breeze in my hair we're tearing
It u-u-up

It's road to love and you're speeding up
Hit the breaks take your foot of the gas
Slow this down you're moving a bit too fast
I showed a red light and it still hasn't
Turned green maybe it'll move to yellow
But that doesn't mean that you can go go
Go go all the way go go go go all that way
So keep it slow and enjoy the ride don't
Wanna miss anything wanna do it right

Making a right then keeping it straight
Going down the long way long way long way
If you're trying to go over the speed limit
I'll make a u-turn you'll miss out on your
Turn and the best thing you could hope to have
so keep it slow and steady this isn't a race
Let's both try to go at the same pace

It's road to love and you're speeding up
Hit the breaks take your foot of the gas
Slow this down you're moving a bit too fast
I showed a red light and it still hasn't
Turned green maybe it'll move to yellow
But that doesn't mean that you can go go
Go go all the way go go go go all that way
So keep it slow and enjoy the ride don't
Wanna miss anything wanna do it right

All the signs are pointing saying that this
Is right I guess I'm going the way I'm supposed
To but let's not lose who we are alright let's
Not call it love just yet let's keep it slow
There's no rush at all just focus on the road

It's road to love and you're speeding up
Hit the breaks take your foot of the gas
Slow this down you're moving a bit too fast
I showed a red light and it still hasn't
Turned green maybe it'll move to yellow
But that doesn't mean that you can go go
Go go all the way go go go go all that way
So keep it slow and enjoy the ride don't
Wanna miss anything wanna do it right

Title: Rock The Night
Label: Five Pesky Kids
Genre: Pop, dance-pop
Length: 3:35
Written by: George Jauregui, Alexis Grey
Released: 13th January 2013

It has only been about a month after releasing their debut single "Treat Your Girl Right" which made top 10 on both the digital and top 20 airplay charts and was written and produced by one of the biggest names in the music business Nevaeh Martinez R&B/Pop girl group SYNCO also known as the female version of Weekend come to us with their second single "Rock The Night" this song is very different from their debut single to start off it has one of the girls (Alexis Grey) as a co-writer plus the song is more of a dance pop song rather than R&B styled song the song is about going out and just losing control and having a good time drinking, dancing and basically rocking the night the song has a very catchy sound to it but it's probably a little controversial for such a young group of girls singing about drinking and other mature topics the youngest girl of the group being only 16 people may not be happy about it the song starts out with no beat and a bunch of people chanting "Rock the night rock rock rock the night" before the beat finally kicks in and the girls begin singing the girl that opens the song is the eldest of the group Nicole Wright she has a sort of theatrical and unique sound to her voice which doesn't sound bad at all but it doesn't sound as great as the other girls in the debut single she only really got to do the back up parts in the chorus which isn't much and in this song we can see why her voice is very good and different but not quite as appealing as the other girls the next one to sing is the co-writer to this song and probably lead vocalist of the group Alexis Grey she has a very mature and husky sort of voice that people tend to love it isn't very unique but it is very likeable she sings more of the first verse than Nicole did it then goes to Naomi who has this sort of bluesy or laid back R&B styled vocals she isn't quite as unique or powerful as Jamie, Nicole, Alex and Layla but she has a very nice voice to listen to she get's the pre-chorus of the song which is understandable as it fit her a little more than it would the other girls the song takes a short pause then goes into the chorus where all five of the girls are now singing together which sounds pretty good it's different from their first single where the harmonies were better but it's still pretty good then it goes back to Alex with her more mature yet powerful vocals then immediately goes over to Layla who has a very unique and likeable voice then it goes to Jamie the most powerful vocalist out of the five with Alex coming in second of course she sounds amazing but is holding back sort of like in Treat Your Girl Right the second verse completely goes to Alex as she sings in her usual mature and powerful vocals the beat was slower on the verses than on the chorus so Alex sang it kinda slow and in a way it sounded rather seductive and sexy it then goes back to Naomi who sings the pre-chorus like last time but showing a bit more of a powerful side to her vocals as she goes higher on the last "Let it go" it then goes back to the chorus where the beat speeds up once again just like last time and it is sang almost exactly like the last time the song then slows down a lot more as it gets to the bridge where the most powerful vocalist in the group Jamie Jackson is heard singing in a very high pitch which sounds amazing she may not be the most popular girl in the group but she could be considered the best vocalist as she was great at singing high and low she continued singing until she reached the last "let's rock the night" holding the last note for a little in a sort of Mariah Carey like whistle register she wasn't exactly Mariah but she sounded very good and to think she was actually the second youngest which is very surprising for the way she looks and sounds to be at least 19 which she wasn't it then goes back to the chorus for the final time as the beat picks up again it's sang the same way but this time has Alex singing "let's rock the night" one more time before the song comes to a complete end

Our second single oh my god this is so rad and I'm like freaking out right now I mean I never thought I'd get to say I have a single out let alone two it's just so crazy to think how far we've come I mean if it wasn't for this I'd be in my room watching Weekend videos just wishing I could meet them but I have and they've actually started a career for me and these four other amazing girls and it's just so insane it's like I don't know how to thank them enough for giving us this chance and experience I didn't have many friends before this other than internet ones but I mean now I have four amazing perfect best friends for life and it just makes me so happy to think about that all the time and I mean there are times I even cry when I think about how this has changed me and it's just so amazing it's made me so much more confident and happy than I've ever been and I'm having so much fun I really love this single I don't get much of a part on here as I did in Treat Your Girl Right but it's still a very fun and rad song and I love it so much

Alex wrote:
You know this experience is really cool I mean I never expected to really have a career in music on my own but now I do have a career in music and I get to share that with five other girls who happen to be really cool I've grown really close to these girls since they actually are like sisters to me and I am very protective over them it's just crazy how that can happen going from total strangers to best friends I mean these girls are so different from me too you have Jamie who is this really sweet and shy girl then there's Layla aka Ms. Number 1 fangirl who is really sweet and adorable then there's Nicole the most innocent person you're ever going to meet in your life like the girl could probably be a preacher and she's really nice too then there's Naomi the sarcastic and sassy and very confident yet cool and funny girl that I've grown to love her attitude is amazing then you got me the well I won't say bitch but I'm nowhere near as sweet as the others I've got a bit of a temper and I'm just really surprised how well we've gone together with different personalities and voices this song Rock The Night was so fun to write and record I honestly had a blast doing it and I think it came out pretty good myself it's fun, sexy you can dance to it just a really good pop song if you ask me

Nicole wrote:
This whole experience has been such a blessing I honestly love every second I'm with these girls they're so sweet and funny and there's never a boring moment in the house there's always something going on it makes so happy to be in this group with these four amazingly talented and gifted girls I mean I just really want to thank Weekend and God for putting us in this group I have tried my hand in a solo career many times and it never worked out but this group is really doing so well and it's so amazing to share every moment with these girls I love every second I get to live out my dream with them by my side I feel it was honestly destiny that put us together and I could never imagine it being any different the girls are all amazing and beautiful and so talented and they've each got something that makes them special vocally and personality wise and it's just amazing how well we all go together and in such a short amount of time I thank the lord for this so much and on to the song this song is well very different from our debut single it's more of a dance track and the lyrics can be a bit suggestive but it's a very fun song and I enjoyed working with the girls on this and I really love listening to this song

Jamie wrote:
I think this group has been so amazing it's been such an amazing experience being put with these girls and by one of if not the biggest groups of our time I mean just thinking of all of the things this group has helped me and my family out with is so amazing I lived with a bunch of people back at my grandparents home and we were just about to be evicted from our home too we probably would've been out on the street somewhere if not for this group and I am so thankful to even be considered to be put in this group with these amazing girls I love it so much they are so fun to be around and work with it's really surprising how we all get on so well and in such a short period of time too it was strange cause none of us would argue with each other or anything like that it was an instant connection for all five of us which is actually quite surprising usually if you put five girls together there are at least two that don't get along but we all surprisingly do and I'm thankful for that Rock The Night is a very cool song it's very fun and I really enjoyed doing this song and it turned out pretty great to us we all really love it

Naomi wrote:
Oh I hate all of these girls every last one of them they're all stupid bitches we're always fighting and arguing and all that crap...just kidding I actually really love these girls they're all really cool and fun to be around and all that I've been in some other groups with people that I actually knew and was friends with and none of those groups worked out because the girls were too hard to work with however these four girls are actually really easy and fun to work with I am actually very happy not surprised but happy that I got put in this group and I know I can be kind of hard to work with sometimes being the perfectionist I am but these girls actually put up with me somehow I'll never know how though lol but seriously we all really do love each other and are like sisters with each other and whenever one is having some kind of trouble the other knows and will be there it's pretty cool having not one but four people there for you when you need them and of course you gotta be there for them which is the part I really really can't stand lol just kidding again I'm always there for them and they're always there for me so that is very cool and this song well it's just perfect it's a very fun song that I think really shows off all of our vocal abilities well which for a dance song is surprising but yeah it does and it's a really fun song to dance to and sing and we all really enjoyed doing it

Title: Goodbye (Rest In Peace)
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, pop-rock
Length: 3:36
Producer: Dana McGuire, Michael Black
Writers: Dana McGuire, Michael Black, Alex Grey

Goodbye (Rest In Peace) is the fifth track from the debut album of pop girl group SYNCO the song was written by band member Alexis Grey and professional writers and producers Dana McGuire and Michael Black the song was also produced by the duo as well the meaning behind the song is about a girl changing after a really terrible relationship or bullying and letting go of all of that and finally breaking free the song has a very upbeat sort of pop rock feel to it and the only girls to get solos on this one are as usual Alex, Jamie and the unusual Nicole usually only Alex, Jamie and Layla the three most popular voices in the groups would get solos while the others just harmonize or get small parts but that isn't the case with this song Nicole still gets a smaller part than the others but Layla doesn't get any solos at all Alex opens the song singing with that mature and sexy sort of voice that we know and love her voice usually get's compared to the likes of Lana Del Rey or Lady Gaga she has a rather strong and nice voice to listen to which is most likely why she's the leader plus she has control over it which is something that Jamie lacked despite having a very powerful voice anyway Alex continued singing in that rich seductive tone until the chorus finally kicked in where all the girls began singing together the beat also began to get a bit faster and sounded in a way motivational as the girls continued singing together belting out the chorus after the chorus had finished it went to the second verse where we hear Alex singing once again in the same tone she sang in earlier in the first verse she sings her part amazingly then we hear Nicole sing her part she had a more theatrical voice which wasn't exactly a fan favorite her voice was really good but people would probably wouldn't love it as much as Layla, Alex or Jamie's after Nicole finished her part the chorus came in which was sung the same way as before then the bridge comes in which as usual Jamie takes she sings with a lot of power probably more than we've heard her sing with before she sounds as amazing as she always does and seems to control the part rather well sounding almost like Beyoncé a little as she sang her voice usually got compared to Beyoncé and Leona Lewis which she took as a huge compliment but it was true she could easily be just like either one of them if she had more control over her voice as she sang the last part it sounded like a sort of buildup to the chorus which was sang with more power from each of the girls this time Jamie could heard more at certain parts and we finally hear Layla as well at certain parts in the chorus they sang the chorus together twice before the song finally comes to an end

I'm rising from the ashes feeling reborn
Seeing everything clearly now that you're
Gone every doubt and insecurity seems to fade
Away now that you're not with me I stayed blind
Far too long wasted time but now that's done
And everything feels better now now that you're gone

So watch me rise up while you fall and you can try
All you want but the person you knew is so far gone
You'll never see her again you'll never see her again
she's dead oh she's dead so goodbye rest in peace but hello
to the newer better me goodbye goodbye rest in peace

You don't even know how good it is to finally be free
To run my own life to finally be me no more of your
Holding me back feels like I'm finally back on track

I'm spreading my wings opening my eyes baby, baby
You can stay there and watch me fly my only limit now is the sky

So watch me rise up while you fall and you can try
All you want but the person you knew is so far gone
You'll never see her again you'll never see her again
she's dead oh she's dead so goodbye rest in peace but hello
to the newer better me goodbye goodbye rest in peace

She's so she's so far away she's so gone but I'm seeing a
New day about time I seen her leave about time I get to be
Me and get to do my own thing

So watch me rise up while you fall and you can try
All you want but the person you knew is so far gone
You'll never see her again you'll never see her again
she's dead oh she's dead so goodbye rest in peace but hello
to the newer better me goodbye goodbye rest in peace

So watch me rise up while you fall (watch me watch me oh oh) and you can try
All you want but the person you knew is so far gone
(Woah she's so gone)
You'll never see her again you'll never see her again
she's dead oh she's dead so goodbye rest in peace but hello
to the newer better me goodbye goodbye rest in peace

Sounds somewhat like

Title: I Can Do Better
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length:3:33
Producer:George Jauregui
Writer: Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Naomi White

I Can Do Better is the sixth track off of the debut album of American-British girl group SYNCO this song was written before the girls had even auditioned for Weekend: The Big Search Jamie Jackson had started the song about two days before they were put together and after they were the girls were put into the studio to begin writing and recording for their debut album Jamie had showed the girls the song and they loved it however they thought it would need just a few changes so group members Alex Grey and Naomi White added some of their own parts in which really brought the song together well this is one of the earlier songs that the girls had recorded it has a sort of pop and R&B feel to it which is a nice sound it's an upbeat song that is pretty much about a girl breaking up with a guy who has hurt her and put her through a lot and now shes just leaving him and saying how she can do better like in the song title Naomi opens up the song which is kind of unusual as she doesn't tend to get a lot of solos usually well not as many as the other girls usually would anyway Naomi has a sort of cool laid back voice which would probably be better for a more blousy song however she does pretty good here her voice is probably the least popular out of all the girls people tend to call her the Scott of SYNCO based on her sort of funny personality and because she is the weakest vocalist in the group she doesn't have a bad voice really just not the strongest of the girls or most unique after Naomi finished the first verse it goes to the chorus where we hear Jamie who has a pretty strong voice and definitely shows at this time she also takes pretty much all of the chorus except for two really small parts which are shared with all of the girls as they harmonize "Better, better, better" together before Jamie comes back in they then harmonize once again which brings the chorus to an end we then hear the lead vocalist of the group she sings in her usual husky mature voice which sounds amazing as she goes through her verse Alex was definitely a favorite for her vocals for the control, sound and pretty much everything of her voice was really great they then go back to the chorus which was once again sang by mostly Jamie with her extremely powerful voice and shared with the other girls on those two small parts after the chorus we hear Layla come in who had the most unique and one of the most popular voices of the group she usually did a lot of riffs and runs which she done here as well as she was amazing at them despite being the youngest in the group she had a lot of control over her voice which was amazing for her at only 16 people usually fell in love with Layla's voice or seen it as annoying more people liked it though they loved the uniqueness of it she almost sounded like a younger Demi Lovato in a way after she finished up the bridge the chorus came back in which was sung the same way as it was the first two times with Jamie taking most of it and the other girls getting those two little parts they then done the chorus once again where Jamie showed off just how powerful her voice can be as she sang with a lot of power and emotion before the girls all finished the song together and it came to an end

Title: Don't Really Have To Go
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length 4:03
Producer: Brandon Grey
Writers: Alex Grey, Brandon Grey

Don't Really Have To Go is the seventh track of the debut album from American-British girl group SYNCO the song was written by Alex Grey and her older brother Brandon Grey both of them are adopted the song was also produced by Brandon Grey who is an hopes to one day become a big producer and writer the song speaks about someone in a relationship that isn't working our too well and one of the people in the relationship is asking the other if they want to give it one more shot or not the song is a is a ballad pop song with a nice sound to it each of the girls sing with a lot of emotion Alex the lead vocalist of the group opens the song with that mature and husky voice we know and love she sings amazingly through the first verse really pulling us into the song more the emotion is clear in her voice she continues singing through the verse after finishing the first verse the song takes a slight pause before it comes back in with only the girls singing the first line before the beat finally kicks back in it's a bit more intense than before as the girls continue to harmonize amazingly through the chorus the second verse comes after the girls finish up the chorus and it's shared between Jamie Jackson who has the strongest voice of the girls and Layla Sanchez who has the most unique voice of the girls Jamie opens it up singing amazingly as usual she seemed to be holding back just a little though after she finishes her part Layla comes in and sings the rest of the verse getting a bigger part in it then Jamie did her unique voice fit amazing on this track as she did those riffs and runs that we all love this is probably her best performance on the whole album as she shows the emotion in her voice she sings it really well the song then pauses once again just like it did before and the chorus starts up again the same exact way as before the girls then begin singing the bridge together singing the lyrics "You don't really have to go now" over and over again with auto tune clearly in their voice now before we hear Alex repeat the words that she opened the song with in the first verse this part sounds almost exactly like the first verse really slow and calm with Alex singing in her husky and mature voice the song then takes another more pause sounding almost like it's over before the girls come back in for the chorus once more Alex can be heard in the back doing her little adlibs as the other girls continue harmonizing with each other through the chorus which sounds amazing the girls then repeat the chorus once more singing all together once more for the chorus before they begin repeating "You don't really have to go now" over and over again just like in the bridge however the beat has slowed down a little by now as time went on the girls continued singing that part with the auto tune clearly there again before Alex finally ended the song

So is this the end you gotta tell me now do
You wanna walk away like this? Tell me if it's true are we
Really through is this what you want to do? I don't
Want to hold you back don't want keep you tied up in this
But if you change you're mind somewhere down the line
Just know that I won't be here to fall back on this time
Just hurry up and decide can't take this anymore

So tell me is there something you might want to say or tell
Me if you really want to stay baby if you do then you don't
Really have to go now, go now and if there's anything left in
This somewhere under the all the arguments baby listen to me
You don't really have to go now, go now,
go now

Looking at our past everything we had and now there's a chance
It'll be just a memory it's been a bumpy road still we
Got here though baby
but lately everything we had seems to be fading
And if you had enough then I understand I don't want to hold you back
Hold you back But if you change you're mind somewhere down the line
Just know that I won't be here to fall back on this time

So tell me is there something you might want to say or tell
Me if you really want to stay baby if you do then you don't
Really have to go now, go now and if there's anything left in
This somewhere under the all the arguments baby listen to me
You don't really have to go now, go now,
go now

You don't really have to go now, go now you don't really have to go now, go now
You don't really have to go now, go now You don't really have to go now, go now

So is this the end you gotta tell me now do
You wanna walk away like this?

So tell me is there something you might want to say or tell
Me if you really want to stay baby if you do then you don't
Really have to go now, go now and if there's anything left in
This somewhere under the all the arguments baby listen to me
You don't really have to go now, go now, go now

So tell me is there something you might want to say or tell
Me if you really want to stay baby if you do then you don't
Really have to go now, go now and if there's anything left in
This somewhere under the all the arguments baby listen to me
You don't really have to go now, go now, go now you don't
Really have to go now, go now you don't really have to go now

You don't really have to go now, go now you don't really have to go now, go now
You don't really have to go now, go now You don't really have to go now, go now

Title: Time To Say Goodbye
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length: 3:35
Producer: George Jauregui
Writers: Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Naomi White

Time To Say Goodbye is the eighth track off of the debut album from American-British girl group SYNCO the song was written by Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson and Naomi White and was produced by George Jauregui just like the sixth track I Can Do Better however this song has a different sound to it it's more of just a pop song unlike ICDB which is pop and R&B this song speaks about the time when love just fades away and both of the people in the relationship can feel that the song is starts with a nice little intro before the beat actually kicks in despite the lyrics and title the song isn't a ballad it's has a sort of fun sound to it Layla opens the song up after the intro is done and sings with that unique voice that people tend to fall in love with some people may find it a bit annoying but usually people love it she usually does many riffs and runs and this song is no exception Layla people usually say Layla sounds like a younger Demi Lovato but in a way kind of squeakier after Layla finishes up with the first verse the girls come in together harmonizing beautifully with each other throughout the chorus the beat gets a bit more intense and faster in the chorus and the girls' singing matches it a lot as they continued harmonizing together after the chorus the second verse came the beat had settles down a little now and Layla started of the second verse that was shared with Alex after Layla finishes her part of the verse with that very unique and loveable voice Alex comes in with her much more mature and husky vocals she seemed to have the most popular voice in the group which isn't a surprise her voice is probably the most listenable of the five along with Jamie who had a powerful voice but lacked the control that Alex had over hers Alex continued singing her part of the verse until it finally came to an end the beat once again picked up as the girls began singing the chorus together again harmonizing beautifully just like before in the first chorus the after the girls finish singing the chorus together the bridge comes in the beat had come down a lot even more than it has in the previous verses and Jamie comes in as usual she tends to almost always take the verse as she sang this part she showed off a lot of the power behind her voice people wouldn't usually expect a 17 year old (16 at the time) to be able to sing like this she seemed to be doing really well as she sang through the bridge on the last part when she sings "it's not you it's me" she holds it as the beat totally stops the chorus comes in and the girls begin to harmonize with each other once again and Jamie is still heard holding that one note she then finally gives out and starts doing the adlibs throughout the chorus still showing off that amazing power behind her voice as she does that the girls continue harmonizing beautifully together before the song finally comes to an end it's clear that Jamie really shined on this song she showed her through vocal ability here and this was probably her best vocals on the whole album

All

All the love we had just doesn't seem it could
Last everything that we tried it's all in the past
We had a good run but I think our time has come
I think that we're done it was great before but
Things changed I know you feel it to it's just not the
Same the love has died neither of us can hide it so it's
Time to finally say it

Time to say goodbye to everything we use to have
Everything we hoped would last it's time to say
Goodbye to all the love we shared cause it's no longer
There it's time to say goodbye bye bye bye bye time to
Say goodbye bye bye bye bye it's time to say goodbye

We gave everything we could but I think we both knew
It would come to this at some point in time I don't hate
You but this just doesn't feel right
sometimes things just
Change love doesn't always stay alive sometimes it just fades away
And I know you gotta feel it too

Time to say goodbye to everything we use to have
Everything we hoped would last it's time to say
Goodbye to all the love we shared cause it's no longer
There it's time to say goodbye bye bye bye bye time to
Say goodbye bye bye bye bye it's time to say goodbye

We both hoped that it would never come this the day we'd be
Sharing our last kiss and I'd be walking out like this
But sometimes it's just not meant to be and honestly I want
You to see it's not you it's me

Time to say goodbye to everything we use to have
Everything we hoped would last it's time to say
Goodbye to all the love we shared cause it's no longer
There it's time to say goodbye bye bye bye bye time to
Say goodbye bye bye bye bye it's time to say goodbye

Title: I Knew
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length: 3:34
Producer: Dana McGuire
Writer: Dana McGuire

I Knew is the ninth track from American-British girl group SYNCO's debut album High Speed the track was written and produced by Dana McGuire it's said to be about walking into a relationship that you know is probably going to be bad and knowing that you'll probably get hurt but you do it anyway despite knowing all of this the song was supposed to be the girls' second single after "Treat Your Girl Right" but the girls changed their mind and instead released "Rock The Night" this song starts out with a nice little guitar sort of sound playing for the intro before we hear Layla come in with that unique voice that most people tend to fall in love with she once again showed off those tremendous riffs and runs of hers as she usually does in most other songs again as she continued singing through out the first verse after she finished her part Naomi came in and she actually fitted the song quite well surprisingly since her voice is usually known as a more blousy type voice however she done her part really well despite it being a very small part after that we hear Jamie start up the chorus that is a bit more relaxed than the first verse Jamie sings her part of the chorus amazingly as always but she seemed to be holding back once again then Layla's part of the chorus came in and it sounded as if there was some sort of build up coming with the beat which did happen after Layla finished her part and the girls began singing the "Oh"'s together before the second verse started up the beat sounded the same as the first verse this time Nicole began singing and she showed a sweeter side to her voice that sounded really nice as she sang her part of the verse that was shared with Alex and Layla who happen to have two of the most popular voices in the group after Nicole finished up her part Alex came in with singing in her usual husky voice that we love as she sings the next part of the verse which she sings really well after Alex finishes we hear Layla once again with that unique voice that most people love or find kind of annoying she sang her part really well before we hear Jamie come back in again for the chorus a second time this time it wasn't as relaxed like before instead it was a bit more intense as she sang her part we then heard Layla sing her part in the chorus once again before the girls all come in for the Oh's again after this the bridge comes in and the beat get's a lot slower sounding almost like a build up once again as Layla takes it she sings her this part really nicely and even holds the last part a little through the chorus which Jamie started up again after the bridge we then hear Layla come back in with her part of the chorus again and after that the girls all sing together once again like before and to end the song we hear Jamie sing her part one more time then Layla sing her part once more before the song finally comes to an end

All

There was a time not too long ago we
Were together a perfect couple thought we had it
We had it we had it it it but you never really cared
And I kinda liked that and I began to fall but you
Didn't want that`so you just left made it hard to breathe
Hard to breathe hard to bre-e-e-e-eathe
and now you're gone
You left and I know that it's because of me

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you get
Me under your influence then you walked out

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you become
My sweetest sin and I'm left regretting that now

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

You won't even apologize for playing with my mind
for making me cry you're pretending you don't know
That I'm even alive now I'm falling falling falling-ing-ing

So you've already moved on already replaced me a new girl
By your side where does that leave me? I wish I would've seen
I wish would've I seen I wish I would've se-e-een

You were only out to hurt me but now I realize you were just playing me

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you get
Me under your influence then you walked out

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you become
My sweetest sin and I'm left regretting that now

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

And now I'm starting to think left wondering if you ever loved me
If you ever really cared about anyone or anything besides yourself yeah

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you get
Me under your influence then you walked out

I knew exactly what I was getting into
So I guess it's my own fault let you become
My sweetest sin and I'm left regretting that now

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
Let you get me under your influence my own fault
Own fault
let you become my sweetest sin my own
Fault own fault own fault

Title: The Love You Want
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length: 3:01
Producer: Nevaeh Martinez
Writer: Nevaeh Martinez

The Love You Want is the tenth track from the debut album High Speed by American-British girl group SYNCO the song was written and produced by Nevaeh Martinez who also wrote and produced the girls' debut single "Treat Your Girl Right" the girls enjoyed working with her so much that they had asked her to do another song for them which she gladly agreed to do the song has pop and R&B sounds to it the song is started by the lead vocalist of the group Alex Grey who is known for her mature and husky and een seductive at times voice she sings the first verse's and she sounds amazing the song really fit her voice very well as she continued singing before the pre-chorus came in which was sung by Naomi and Jamie Naomi starts it up as she sings with that blousy styled voice that isn't usually very popular or powerful or unique compared to the other girls of the group but she had a nice voice and it really fit the song well after finishing her part of the pre-chorus we hear Jamie who was singing in a higher register as she sings her part the chorus then comes in where all of the girls are heard singing together we then hear Layla take the second verse singing with that really unique voice that people usually fall in love with she shows us hear as she does on most other songs how amazing she is with the riffs and runs she does it effortlessly as always after she finishes the verse we hear Naomi and Jamie come back in for the pre-chorus which they shared once again they sang it just like the last time this time Jamie went higher and held the note throughout the chorus a bit sounding almost like Leona Lewis in a way she had also showed how good she can be with her riffs and runs she didn't do them as often as Layla but she did them pretty good as well as the girls continued harmonizing through the chorus together sounding really nice with the harmonies Jamie continued doing the adlibs for the chorus before the song finally came to an end

All

I been lovin you
You Been lovin me
You Give All Your Love
Nothin else to see
You had picked me up
In my moment of despair
We're watching life go by
No one else to share

Boy you got me bad
But we got somethin good
I'm wishing for the best
I already left the rest

I've never felt this type of love
It's such a rush
I'm lovin every mo-ment-e-e-nt

I'll get you all the love you want
For sure you're all I really want
I will give you all the love you want
And more I'll get you all the love you want
For sure you're all I really want
I will give you all the love you want
And more you're all I really need

Standing here, we are
Standing face to face
Just the two of us
Loving this embrace
They say we need some space

But your passions got me tased
Never felt this love
Its got me so amazed

I've never felt this type of love
It's such a rush
I'm lovin every mo-ment-e-e-nt

I'll get you all the love you want
For sure you're all I really want
I will give you all the love you want
And more I'll get you all the love you want
For sure you're all I really want
I will give you all the love you want
And more you're all I really need

Title: Tumblin' Down
Label: Five Pesky Kids
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length: 4:05
Producer: George Jauregui
Writer: Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Nicole Wright, Naomi White

Tumblin' Down is the eleventh and final track from the debut album "High Speed" by American-British girl group SYNCO the girls got together about a week after being put together and began writing this song it was written by all the members of the group Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Nicole Wright and Naomi White and was produced my George Jauregui the girls say the song has a special place in each of their hearts being the first song they had ever all written together it was one of their first real experiences as a group and they loved writing it together the girls say the song speaks about a relationship between two people that was forced and rushed so it didn't exactly work out well and everything just comes tumbling down on them both knew that it would eventually happened but tried hanging on to the relationship as they were looking for comfort the girls each said this is one of their favorite tracks on the album the song is has pop and R&B elements it's one of the slower songs on the album the song starts with just a piano playing through the intro the intro goes on for a few seconds before we hear the drums and bass kick into the song and lead vocalist of the group Alex Grey begins to sing in her husky and mature voice the beat has rather haunting sound to it which goes really well with Alex's vocals as she continues to sing not being in a sort of laid back manner after singing the words "Goodbye to the other" the song stops for a second before coming back in for the chorus it had a bit more of a harder and faster sound however it still stayed slow enough to be a ballad the girls sang together through the chorus harmonizing beautifully their harmonies probably sounded the best on this track as the five completely different voices somehow blended together extremely well it would be pretty surprising to find out this is one of the way earlier recorded songs by how good their harmonies sounded here after the first chorus the beat settles down a bit and goes back to the way it was with Alex's verse this time we hear Layla who has a very unique and different voice from most people in the music industry some see her as extremely talented and fall in love with the uniqueness in her voice others may find it annoying Layla is usually known for her incredible riffs and runs however on this song she holds back only using them when she sings the words "Too" and "Truth Layla then finishes up her part of the verse and we hear the lead vocalist of the group Alex come back in with that beautiful husky voice that everybody seems to love so much she sounds amazing once again this time showing a little more of the power she had in her voice near the end of the verse as she sang "Let's just face it" she went higher which sounded really good she made the song sound really well and this was probably her best performance on the album though she could probably do a lot better than she was the beat then picked up once again as the girls began to harmonize together again showing off those beautiful harmonies that are still quite surprising we then hear Jamie come in taking the bridge as she usually did she sounded fantastic as the beat began to get more intense almost sounding like a sort of build up there were violins heard and piano and other instruments making this a bit more dramatic as Jamie sang with that very strong voice that many people love she showed off that amazing range that she had as well as she continued singing she sounded almost like Beyoncé which isn't easy especially for a 16 (17 now) year old girl her voice definitely sounded more mature than she is she just lacked a little control at times but she had an amazing voice after Jamie finished her part which she did really well the girls come in again with those beautiful harmonies that the listener has probably grown to really love even more now the girls continue harmonizing together through the chorus then they begin to repeat "Tumblin' down" once more as the song reaches it's peak before finally coming to an end

All

The clouds came down on us we both saw it coming,
We tried to make something out of nothing but we
Both knew eventually we'd be going down this path
Arguing and turning our backs looking away from
Each other saying goodbye to the other

Let's not pretend we was gonna last guess that's
What we get for moving so fast we said we were both
In love but that's not what it really was thought
You would be just what I need I guess I was wrong
We kept the lie up for awhile but now it's tumblin' down
tumblin' tumblin' tumblin down tumblin' tumblin' down baby

You said you loved me first and I said I love you too
But neither of us were telling the truth
looking for
Comfort looking to move on I ran to you and you opened
Your arms but we were both on the rebound let's just face it

Let's not pretend we was gonna last guess that's
What we get for moving so fast we said we were both
In love but that's not what it really was thought
You would be just what I need I guess I was wrong
We kept the lie up for awhile but now it's tumblin' down
tumblin' tumblin' tumblin down tumblin' tumblin' down baby

So I'm saying goodbye gonna pack my things time for
this to stop cause I can't live like this anymore
The truth is when we kiss there's nothing you know it
Don't try to keep this up cause I can't do this no, no, no

Let's not pretend we was gonna last guess that's
What we get for moving so fast we said we were both
In love but that's not what it really was thought
You would be just what I need I guess I was wrong
We kept the lie up for awhile but now it's tumblin' down
tumblin' tumblin' tumblin down tumblin' tumblin' down baby

Tumblin' tumblin' tumblin' down tumblin' tumblin tumblin' down
baby we're tumblin' down
