Envy smiles at Mariko again. It meant so much to be able to sit and talk with someone like this. Pilgrim was never cool with her having friends, and he would barely speak to her properly. She smiles at Mariko, unable to stop herself. 'I love it too. You make me feel like I am worth something. I always felt like I was useless.' She looks out to sea. 'Would you want me to come with you? When do you leave?' She chuckles at mariko's description of Erich. 'Really? I would have thought he was popular with the girls. Aww well at least he got a wife.' She nods. She tilts her head as her neck gets kissed. 'I will always be your friend. I promise that.' |

Mariko listens intently to envy then pouts her lips. " envy,you are far from useless! Where would that band be without you? Doing handjobs for quarters,probably." Mariko snorts." Woe be to pilly boy if you ever exert your power over him." Mariko smiles a mischievous grin. Unlike her cousin,Mariko can look quite evil. " of course,I want you to come with me! We open in rio. We need to get fruity drinks and go topless on the beach! " she giggles and looks at her hello kitty watch. The cat's stubby little arms fill Mariko with surprise. "Shit!" She exclaims. " we needed to leave ten minutes ago!" She laughs at the prospect of missing her flight. Trivial things piss Mariko off,huge things never bother her. She pats envy's bottom,"we need to scoot!" She giggles again. " no. All of Erich's success involved his girlfriend at the time,karoliena. I know you are thinking his marriage to erica was much like yours and...your husband. But erica and erich agreed to the arrangement. Erica loved erich,but preferred women,physically. " she says. Mariko could never wrap her head around this,but worked for Erica and erich for years. |

Erich is sifting through piles if archaic tape reels in the studio of the duke. He is both nervous and excited as nina,of rum and coke fame is coming today. The dukes studio prices can't be beat and the analog warmness is highly sought after. |

Nina nods her head . " Its been the usual between Aire & I , but Im sure she's mad I didnt tell her I was coming today . " Nina shrugs a little . " She'll be okay though ... " She sits down and flips her hair and looks down to the floor but then back up at the glass . " Hows Ada ? " |

She reached for her glass of absinthe and looks at Erich . " Well if she is going to just bust up in here , I need to be prepared ! " She attempted to chug the whole glass , which failed . She started to choke a little until she coughed it all out of her system . Once Nina caught her breath she immediately started to laugh . "Woo ... That was not apart of the plan ." She managed to say while cracking up . |

Nina grabs the towel and wipes the liquor off her shirt and chest . She shrugged a little bit and looked back up . " I guess , but I mean when you bust in a room with suspicion on your mind , anything can look wrong . " Nina pullled her hair back into a ponytail and placed the towel on the table . " Well anyways , we might want to get started on this song . " She looked over at everybody else in the control room . " They look bored . " |

Nina reached for her notebook on the table and flipped through the pages . " Well I have the song all written out and everything , I want you to read it and tell me any thoughts . Any edits in the verses .. If you want to add anything to length-wise .. Anything . " She handed the book over to him . " We still have to find some music to go with it , which hopefully we can do today . " |

Erich takes the notebook and produces a pair of glasses. He puts them on an proceeds to read the pages. The glasses have no lenses,but he feels it makes him look more business like. " well,it looks like a bang up job to me" be says as he intently writes on the page with a pen. " the only thing I would add,is this drawing of a dinosaur stepping on nancy drew." He holds up the book,where he drawn on the margin. " I've got several tracks of stuff that have never been used,see if any float your boat." He slides over a Walkman with head phones. That's right,a Walkman. |

Nina looks at the drawing sideways turning her head to try and see at which angle it looks more like a Dinosaur and Nancy Drew ." It looks more like a deformed chicken nugget attacking a deformed chicken finger . But you know I can work with that ... Battle of the Invisible Chicken Parts That May Not Be Actual Chicken . " She nods her head . As Erich slips on his headphones she just looks around . She taps him on the shoulders . " And where do I find these tracks ? " |

Nina at first pokes at the machine and then quickly starts to learn how to work it . She stood there listening to some of them bobbing her head and tapping her foot . Once she went through about 14 songs she took off the headphones . " Wow Erich , you can make some serious money off of these . " Nina wrote a note on her notebook Track #3 . |
