Scott RH introduces 'rock boy band' Lost in Stereo
RH has seen previous success as label boss of pop sensations Weekend.

Chaos Records boss Scott RH has branded himself 'the alternative Simon Cowell, after the metal legend and record label owner announced that he is set to unleash the world's first manufactured rock boyband on the world. Chaos supremo RH said it was a personal project for him to dream up, put together and guide to success a band that does not necessarily fit the mould of a genre, but is put together in order to make the most of all the market conditions and become one of the biggest bands in the world.

In a stark contrast to his own early days in the industry, which saw he and his band Blood of Wecz struggle time and again to claw themselves into an industry, the owner has put together a band of relative strangers with one goal in mind - success. He has been accused in recent times of selling out and becoming not only a part of the corporate machine, but the biggest driver of the industry led by money and profits alone. Far from trying to shake of these rumours, Scott has gone on to embrace them and to create something that he says is destined to become one of the most successful rock bands of all time.

So without any further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here they are - the fruits of Scott RH's labour - Lost in Stereo! This band of four attractive young British musicians had never met each other at the start of this year, before Scott RH launched a competition via the Chaos Records website, in which he was looking for attractive college age guys who could play instruments to join an exciting new project and make a hell of a lot of money.

Following an array of different audition tapes, live trials and secret concerts, RH would choose the four members that he decided best fit the criteria he sought for the all new Chaos Records band. Despite being a pop-punk band, Lost in Stereo's target audience is teenage girls, with Scott saying that they would be looking to gain the listener base of people who start to feel they might be too old to Weekend by giving them new guys to idolise, new pin ups to dream about and an all new act to follow on Twitter with all the fervour they can muster.

"I thought this would be a fun project to take on," Scott RH said to Culture Uncut via a press interview. "I've been accused of being all about the money in music these days, and it's an accusation that becomes more and more prevalent all the time. So I just thought, why not go along with it and see if I can have some fun? I see this as like investing in a house, building it from the ground and then seeing your profits grow. It will cost me some money to get this band going, to market them in the same way as the biggest pop bands and to get them off the ground in terms of recording and touring. But I think that's money I'll see back in times to come. I have confidence that I know what I'm doing."

RH has experience when it comes to making the most of a group of talented teenage heart throbs, with his charges in Weekend having become a favourite of teenage girls the world over in the past year thanks to their loveable pop music, their bubbly personas and their immensely unabating appeal to those they have been marketed to. He has also seen Weekend put together their own pop band in SYNCO in months gone by, to create something that has the potential to go all the way to the top of the game.

"I've worked with Weekend for more than a year now, and they are a top bunch of lads. As much as I like them though, one of my favourite things about them is the amount of money they have earned me in the last year. With the way they have managed to capture the imagination of the young girl fans around the globe through their immense talent and their perfect image and looks, I thought there was room for one more, and I think it will be fun to find out if I have what it takes to personally put together a band that is not just struggling by but built brick by brick with perfect precision to make sure that they are primed and prepared for instant global success. As much as I respect people who work their way up, obviously, it is a different thing altogether to be ready to be a popstar from the word go. I have confidence."

The Lost in Stero line up has been revealed as 19-year-old drummer PJ Grayson from Ashford in Kent, bassist Gabriel Wiseman from London (18-years old), guitarist Thomas Owen from Dublin, Ireland (also 19) and frontman, singer and guitarist, 18-year old Jade Brooks, the leader of the band and the true heart throb from Leeds in West Yorkshire. The band are primed for appeal to an audience that is one of the most fervent and dedicated in the world at the moment, with much of its power coming through online areas such as social media, where they can be promoted and supported all in one place.

RH said of the selection process: "It was a long and drawn out affair to find the perfect guys for this band. In truth, we decided early on that Jade was ideal as our frontman. He needed a few singing lessons, but he could play basic guitar. Most importantly though, he had the right look and the right style from the off. I just know that the girls around the world will love him. He's about to become a sex symbol overnight. But he's ready. The rest of the guys had to do a little more to convince me, but that shouldn't really be seen as a bad thing. The reason we had such extensive testing and auditioning was to make sure that we had the absolute perfect mix as a boy band and a rock band. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will pan out, but I'm massively sure that the band will become one of the biggest pop acts in the world very very soon."
