"You don't need to pretend you don't know me," he says, shaking his head. "She's...well, I suppose after a while she learned to tolerate Teresa...but she tends to want me to herself. She might end up liking you, you never know," he says, not certain how Vara would react to Mariko.

"I like girls too, hi five!" Trent says, holding his hand up. "We both get mad pussy," he says, cracking up. "Oh god, I never thought I'd ever say that."

"I'll keep that in mind," he says, smiling. "You're a good gal, Mariko. I think I'd go crazy if I didn't have somebody to talk to on this tour."

The Australian/NZ leg of the No Venues III tour has been a blast for the performers and the fans - unless you happen to be a Shadowmachine fan. Last week their set was cut short due to damage to the sound system, and todays New Zealand show was cut short halfway through because front man and bandleader Trent D'Amour collapsed on stage. Medical personnel had to drag him off stage and administer oxygen before he was able to regain consciousness. D'Amour, who was described by guitarist Gabriel Finch as being "drunk off his ass" was apparently unable or unwilling to complete the show. The crowd almost rioted, but the tour staff were prepared after last weeks stunt and covered the sound equipment to prevent the crowd from causing more damage with flying mud. D'Amour's collapse has been attributed to "half over-exhaustion and half being too drunk to stand." Will Shadowmachine step up their game? Will D'Amour strive to reduce his alcohol intake? Personally, we don't think so, but hey, if James Hetfield can be straight edge, anything is possible. Provided is the setlist that the band managed to play before D'Amour's collapse.

"i am doing well."she nods,very happy on her first world tour. "yes,mr trent parties too hard,i think."

"he would like that.i think it is lonliness that is affecting him so." mariko lights up."no i am not busy! i would love to run around with the headliner. your show is always so fun." mariko squeals,not caring that she is a few sentences away from chronic fangirldom.

"it really shows through. fun fun fun."mariko squeaks then giggles."oh,i do not think we should.i think his girlfriend is in town." she then makes a very crude gesture with her hands.

Mariko scratches her chin thoughtfully. " it would be fun,by I think Trent is upset enough as is!" She laughs,walking along beside pixie. " I am Mariko. " she smiles warmly.

Mariko blushes when pixie likes her name. " yes. I am from ishinomaki. " she nods. You are from Finland,correct? I bet it is very cold there. Every one must have loos of their own."
