Last record I downloaded was the very new Cave In EP, Planets Of Old.
It's such a fucking great return. I've just been listening to it over and over, Retinas See Rewind is my song of 09 so far. |

Now on the way in the post, the new albums by Jesu, Eagle Twin and Vic Chessnut, but those will take a while to get here. In the meanwhilst, I'm cutting down on the music spending for a bit. |

Regan wrote:Chimp Records wrote:Kein Engel-Rammstein LeftRightLeftRightLeft-Coldplay Forth-The Verve How can you listen to Coldplay after they sooo almost ripped off Satriani? When the guitarist if I'm not mistaken has said in an interview before that he was a big fan of Satriani. It made me lose all respect for the band. sorry that i got into this, but if coldplay did copy satriani, then satriani copied before cat stevens or either los enanitos verdes. i don't know the name of the cat steven's song, but it's an 18-minute-long song that, at the end, has the fucking same (horrible) melody that satriani claims that coldplay ripped from him. and want to hear the enanitos verdes' song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znrHzefl8cMand then i found the cat steven's song: http://www.youtube.com/w...UqOw&feature=relatedwhat i found really disgusting is that a mediocre guitarist like satriani has a fucking face to sue coldplay after he copied not one, but TWO. FUCKING. BANDS. i hated him before as a musician, now i hate him as a person. by the way, i hate coldplay as well. |

TOURNIQUET - Psychosurgery CD ULTIMATUM - Lex Metalis CD WHITESNAKE - s/t CD (since my old vinyl copy was dying I picked this up for 4 euros. Still a great album)

The Used - Artwork
Actually the WORST album of the year. It's so dull, like grunge + their last album :|
And Troy, the Katy Perry CD is a bit hit or miss IMO |

Can't agree it's the worst of the year (I've heard so much shitty music to say that), but it's definately their worst. I only like Blood on Your Hands and Kissing You Goodbye on occasions. No screams D: Last I bought: Era Vulgaris by Queens of the Stone Age. |
I own:
Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic) Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird) |

I saw her performing on the Today Show (the big US morning news show) and decided that I like her enough to try her album. And it was relatively cheap on Amazon, only $8.99 (£5.50) and it had free shipping. :) |

Blood On My Hands was the only MEMORABLE song :| The rest seemed to blur into each other awfully, and there was no defining charm to any song. Not even like, one stand out for another single! |

Dominikin - En voi uskoa
Annother Dominikin album. Not too diferent, except only half of it was in Finnish. Same proggy-thrash they always are. |
Too much leather chair is unsightly and greatly increases your risk of leather-smell. |

I got both Iron Monkey albums in HMV for a tenner.
So that's Iron Monkey + Our Problem, and Our Problem came with the EP We've Started Nothing.
Bonus. Great band, possibly my favourite British band of the 1990s |

Code - Resplendent Grotesque
I think you can say bravely that this is one of the best black metal albums of this decade. |
Stronghold - death metal with eastern and heavy metal influences Witchcult - stoner/oldschool heavy/doom metal Infernal Tribute - darkly humourous death metal/alternative/progressive |
