mariko nods and smiles. "i think she was just scared for you.in any case,i will not be sharing anymore drugs with you...or my hot dog." she holds it to her chest possessively. she sighs a bit. "thank you,trent. you are my buddy and i will do my best to feel less awkward around the pair of you." she blushes slightly. "envy did not leave me." she says quietly.

Mariko looks at her hot dog. " actually,you could have half if you want." She laughs nervously,looking at the rather phallic dog. " yeah...I think we should." She takes a deep breath. " I am sorry. I do not want things to be weird because of what happened." She says quickly.

"no." mariko says slowly." it is my fault,trent. i am the one who freely cheated on their lover. i dont recall you or vara twisting my arm." sh smiles slightly at trent. "envy flew all the way from england to confront me over it. she said she forgave me,and i know i will never betray her trust again." mariko says with a nod,as if promising to envy again. "how have you and vara been ?" she asks

"good good,sometimes you rock and roll types need be kept in line. look at how ada has turned erich into something tame and near respectable. " mariko giggles and swipes two bottles of water from a concession,tossing one to trent. "when vara did come to apoligize to me,i did not trust her. i was waiting for the barb to come.but it never did. she has a kernel of sweetness under that tough exterior.is that what drew you to her?" mariko blushes as she doesnt want it to look like she is being too nosy.

at first mariko makes a face at vara being described as caring and nice,but decides against saying anything. the woman clearly adores trent. " she seems to care for you a great deal.it is very cute actually." mariko thinks for awhile before answering. "envy's kindness. we were sorta just lumped together by erica,and we just really got a long well. it is probably hard for you to believe,but i think envy and i have a certain....innocence."

mariko giggles." after um...what we did,i thought any hope of being considered innocent was out the window! thank you so much." she squeals slightly. she sees some young teens passing around a joint. "so....are you giving up all the drugs?" she asks carefully

she laughs and shakes her head. "i put on a pretty good front of being worldly and all that,then have to pretend to back it up. that is where i always get in trouble." she says ,scratching her head. "not to play the part of trents mom,but you probably should cut it all out for awhile.it might be easier to go cold chicken for a while." she says helpfully. "a great example of my pretending to be knowledgeable of the ways of the world? before this tour,the most i had done was smoke weed with hitomi.i barely even drank."

she shakes her head vigorously. "nope! hitomi would occasionally visit and we would go out drinking,but that is about it. drugs are hard to find in japan,at least for me. " she giggles at trent. "you did not corrupt me,that honor goes to my crazy cousin. i do not recall you ever saying, "quit being a little bitch,just snort it.it is not going to kill you...hopefully." she says,mocking erica's voice.

"hitomi can be...what did you use to describe vara? ...intense." she nods. "that is part of why she and erich never spent a lot of time together. they would have eventually killed themselves." mariko thinks for a bit. "if you want,i can also give it up for the rest of the tour. you know... solidarity. it is not much fun alone anyway."

"yup!i think it would help you a lot." she grins." sobriety is going around. hitomi is also giving it up all up since her wife is pregnant. " she says smiling. natalya totally isnt mariko's type,but she is pleasing to the eye.
