Isabel's New Fragrance 'Embrace' Released Yesterday!

It's always a great day to smell like one of Pop's most successful artists, in particular, Isabel Merjos! The second fragrance from her is titled 'Embrace'. The singer has been working on the new perfume for well over a month now, personally testing different smells to ensure her fans and customers get the best. It's described to be an embodiment of Izzy, fresh and sweet with a warmness on the inside. Including top notes of raspberry, peach, and pineapple, the fragrance begins as a fruity bouquet that slowly blends into heart notes of purple freesia, musk, and dewberry, before transforming into a delectable treat with rich base notes of chocolate, vanilla, and amber, talk about tropical! Yesterday, the 20 year old also hosted a release party by Macy's who will be selling the perfume exclusively in their stores only. Each attendee got a free gift bag complete with their very own set which featured lotion, perfume, body spray, and an ankle bracelet with the words, 'BeYOU' inscribed on it. While hopping from the studio to the Sweet Unknown set, she also featured in a commercial for the fragrance debuting her sexy new style and look. We definitely approve of this!

Reported Failure Announce Rome Listening Session

After having announced a final release date for their sixth studio album, "Rome", and releasing the lead single from the album, the band has announced that there will also be several "Listening Sessions" for music critics, insiders, and some lucky fans to hear the album. They will take place on Friday and again on Saturday this weekend at Vin Peters's Pacific Noise record store. It will be a closed event so no one can go into the store and hear the album before its release unless they are expressly invited. "We really believe that the effect of this album will be immense and even larger than it was for our last album" says frontman Billie Beckett. "With that said we really wanted to give at least the industry insiders a heads up for our record." Beckett steered clear of calling this just an advertising gimmick so that critics can be reviewing and talking about the album before it even comes out, but essentially thats what it is and the business head of the band, Vin Peters, was much more blunt about the purpose of these listening sessions. "This is the best record of our lives and I want the world to know how fucking good it is as soon as it comes out so those critics need to hear it as soon as they can. I want the hype for this album to be as big as it rightfully should." Whether or not it is truly deserving of the hype Vin Peters wants to build for it will be determined on June 8th when the album hits stores.

Critics Go Nuts for "Rome"

Following both of Reported Failure's Limited Listening Session for their album "Rome" the internet promptly went nuts. Those who had been present promptly went on twitter and began tweeting about the experience which lasted roughly two hours with the album itself accompanied by video and lighting, and an introduction by the band itself as well as producer Avil Hartman. Max-Volume editor Max Pruitt called the album "An achievement unparalleled in rock and roll in the past year." Alternative Press quickly published a review of the album calling it "The greatest album of the band's career" and giving it five out of five stars. Journalists for Rolling Stone called the album "The kind of thing most pop-punk bands would never dream of growing up to create" adding that Reported Failure had "redefined what it means to be a punk band." Reporters from absolute Punk called it "An album everyone should buy and cherish." Spin Magazine quickly called "Rome" "Unlike anything else being created by any artist in the world today." Rocksound also gave the album a top review adding that it is "The most nuanced rock album in years." Kerrrang Magazine called it "An incredible listening journey." With more hype building everyday, Reported Failure will no doubt start releasing more songs as promotion for the album and also announce tours, events, etc... "Rome" will be available on June 8th.
