It is sad to see all tr people I have been with for the past couple months just scatter to the wind. Hands were shook,hugs were given,it is all over. See you next year. Ugh, you see these people day in and day out for months then they are gone. It feels like a puppy love break up...it hurts almost. That being said, I am retiring ever song from my setlist. I am tired of hearing them,and tired of singing them....but if you REALLY want to hear "tiptoe through the corpses", I will oblige. I aim to please. My fondest memory of this tour,lucky no body was witness to. After my set in Berlin. I was walking off stage and slipped on some stage blood. I fell on my ass and tumbled down some stairs and right into the catering table. The cheese tray fell on the floor,so I chucked it in the bin. (The five second rule did not apply here!) about 30 cats had a cheese feast.
Also,vara telling me I could do way better than the funnel cake man,that will stick with me always.
Hopefully I can return to no venues next year. I had so much in and I will not be a total nobody....hopefully! See you soon! Mariko.

TRENT'S TOUR DIARY - 2 DATES LEFT So this is it, huh? End of the line? Tokyo is an amazing and overwhelming place, and having the tour end here seems right. No Venues has been full of surprises - I was booed, cheered, pissed off, almost pissed on; I've had bottles thrown at me, I've ripped up 27 bibles (and it would've been 31 if we'd played 'Rosary' at every set - or if we hadn't missed any,) I've been high, low, and everything in between. It both terrifies and exhilarates me at the same time, because in this environment I can't expect anything. I believe that this has been an important experience for me to have, even though the last few weeks have been hell. Wake up, puke, play, sleep, eat, puke, repeat. But not anymore. There's only two dates left, and I'm no longer content with putting on a mediocre show or letting myself waste away. I'm done with that. I'm stronger than that, and I've got people who are willing to help me be stronger than that. It's time to stop existing and start living. Tokyo, get ready, because I'm going to see a thousand faces, and I'm going to rock every single last one of them. Fuck Bon Jovi. |
