The three of the policemen exchange looks and whisper to each other for a few moments. Then Aames turns back to Yasmine and sighs. "Look, we understand why you're frustrated. You're obviously not having a good day with Miss. Gallo, and things got ugly. But your little act sent Miss. Gallo to the hospital for stitches, and we can't overlook that. We can't actually do anything for you if she never touched you, as yelling profanities isn't illegal..." He stands up. "So we're going to need you to come with us. I won't put the handcuffs on you if you promise to come peacefully."
"Thank you," Vara whispers as she takes the tissues from Zane. She dabs at her eye, trying to avoid touching any of the glass in her face. "I can't believe she did this to me..."

A cab pulls up to the grounds and out pops Yasmine . She dramatically removes her sunglasses as she takes a deep breath . She suspected Vara has told everyone some crazy story and made Yasmine seem like some psychotic bitch , that's why she wasn't surprised when people stared at her once she arrived . It was that , or they were surprised Yasmine would even come anywhere near Vara anymore . Vara was probably going to destroy her but she learned that after spending some time in that cell that she should just do what she did the other day ... other than throwing the book . It was the best response she ever got from Vara . She now felt like she absolutely had a handle over the rest of this tour . Her new bus was to arrive later on in the day , but she didn't mind being outside for a few hours . It was nice out anyway . |
