"no I want to make sure your ok, Im going with you" Emerald smiles at Mariko.

"Its ok I forgive you, give me a call on this number, it my house phone so you can tell me your ok. I'll worry otherwise".

Emerald panics and walks home.

mariko takes a deep breath and tells vara good bye. was she as evil as she thought she was as to purposely break people up? it was easy to say to vara,but with nina on the other side of the door? mariko had her doubts. she would say the truth,and nothing else.

mariko opens the door,busted lip,black eyes and all. she hugs nina instantly,as she was really worried about her. emerald was pissed. "...um,hi,nina." she says awkwardly. "we could have met in the lobby. " she giggles.

mariko pulls her in and shuts the door. "drink?" she offers before taking a shot of vodka herself. she paces for a few moments. there was a great deal of shame for mariko in what happened. she had held back in the fight with emerald for nina's sake,and it bit her in the ass. " well...emerald did it." she says in almost a whisper. she leans her head down,so nina can see the back of it. "a bottle was involved...but i didnt fall on it."

mariko sits on the bed and nods. "yes...i met emerald later that day. you know,to let her know why things happened as they did.i told her how you felt so bad for doing what we did..she slapped me first,and later we we escorted outside and thats....when it happened.i did not want to tell you,but i was worried if...if she would do the same to you. has she ever been violent to you?" mariko asks with genuine concern.

mariko hugs nina tightly.it hurt so bad.but ever since this had happened,mariko needed a hug. she nods as they part. "yes,i did not do anything back to her...until she threatened to kill me if i saw you again.oh,i hope nobody saw you come here." mariko says,worried about nina. especially after she hears emerald threw nina out. " she actually THREW you out?! oh my god,are you ok?" mariko holds nina's hand lightly.
" i do not know if she would hurt you. she does seem to spring to violence pretty easily. please dont tell her i told you any of this,she did not want me to tell." mariko says quietly.

Mariko looks surprised as the shoe removal and request for sneakers. She nods quickly and hands nina a pair of red chuck Taylor's ." Talk you out of....." Mariko asks slowly before realizing what is going on. She is about to try and talk nina out of it,but she remembers the conversation with vara.... And that she nearly bled to death." What ...are you going to do?" Mariko asks in a small voice. She is surprised that nina was so quick to turn on emerald.she can't help but be inwardly happy. She hated emerald for what she did

Mariko has to giggle when nina asks about hitting emerald. It is so cute to her. " you should talk first." Mariko says putting her hand on Nina's shoulder. " I do not want you getting hurt." Mariko soothingly says. She's much better for nina than emerald. She doubts emerald has a caring bone in her body. She is shocked it of her thoughts when nina says she is coming along. She didnt ask,she told. " um....you sure ?" She asks nervously. " won't my being there just agitate her?" Mariko wasnt sure she could face emerald. ...or her own handiwork

Mariko nods ." You are right,nina-chan. We have to." When nina takes her hand and leads her through the lobby,Mariko feels everyone's eyes on her. They know what she is trying to do. Nina will find out,then...then she may be looking to "talk" to Mariko. Nina doesn't look like the sort who can't fight. When confronted,emerald will fill in the details Mariko left out. Mariko pulls against Nina's arm. " stop." She says suddenly. Mariko wanted revenge,but not at the cost of nina. " we can't."
