Alec steps inside, feeling even more out of place and unwelcome than he had just a few moments beforehand. "Uh, pretty much the same," he answers Honor, wishing that she would just get to the meat of it already. "You know, writing, studying, researching... Same ol' same ol'." He lets out a small, awkward chuckle. "What about you?"

Alec pauses. He didn't expect for Honor to be so forward about it, even if that's exactly what he wanted. "You're not stupid, Honor," he says quietly, sitting down in the closest chair. He needed to be sitting down for this conversation. "Can you just tell me if what I've been hearing is true? Are you planning on breaking up with me?"

Alec nods. It wasn't exactly the answer that he was hoping for, but it was better than her saying that she was breaking up with him. "Okay... Then lets talk about this. What have you been thinking about?"

Alec gives Honor a confused look and shakes his head. "Wait, you want to break up with me because... because I'm stable? Because I secure?" He raises his eyebrows. "Because I don't add enough drama to your life? Are you serious?" He chuckles a little and shakes her head.

"Then explain this to me, Honor," Alec says, sitting up straight in his chair, staring right back at her. "What does 'grounded' mean to you? What is the negative side of being grounded?"

"So I'm boring. That's it." Alec says back, shaking his head. "I'm twenty-nine, Honor. I have my life already figured out. I don't need to go to Toyko and London to find myself, or whatever the hell you're trying to do. I've found myself, I don't need to keep looking and questioning eveything. I know what I like, and one of those things is you, Honor. If you're after somebody who is still trying to figure theirselves out, you're running the risk of them suddenly realizing that they don't like you anymore," Alec rants, and then realizes that that's exactly what's just happened between him and Honor. He slouches back in the chair and puts his hand in his hands. "Fuck, I need to stop dating you kids..."

"You don't open up to people? You were certainly opening up just fine with the people you told you were thinking about breaking up with me!" Alec says, his voice starting at a normal tone and then raising to a shout as she walks away from him and into the kitchen. "One of which being KAI ROLLINS." He gets up from the chair and follows her. The bartender at the Dirty Bastard was one of his closer acquaintances. He drank there enough. He had definitely mentioned the slight sexual tension between them, but he was willing to let that go... for now.

Alec's eyes widen as Honor speaks, shaking his head. "Wh... what the fuck are you talking about?! I'm not doing something I love? I'm miserable? Music is what I love! Studying music is what I love! I'm the farthest thing from miserable! At least I was until this shit started!" He shakes his head. "Honor Wynter, everybody! She acts like she knows everything about life and music, but when it comes to her boyfriend, she doesn't know a god damn thing! That's the problem with you, Honor! You're so fucking desperate for attention that you'll do anything! Why else would you tell Kai Rollins, somebody that you've told me - and everybody on Twitter - on several ocassions that you hate, something personal like that you're planning on breaking up with me?!" He groans, rubbing his temples with his thumb and forefinger. "Honor, why are you doing this? Tell me honestly, why are you acting like this? We were doing fine. We bought a fucking cat together. We went out for our birthdays, we went dancing, we did everything that you wanted to do. And now all of the sudden, this. What happened?"

Ryan smiled at her "Well, I got a lot of practice." he leaned in to kiss her again. "we should go back to my place, unless you can't wait and just take it to my car?"

Ryan smirked and picked her up holding her legs and shoulders in his arms with the towel. "You singers are light huh," He joked going up to his car, thankful that he parked close by. He unlocked the door by the remote and open the passenger's door. "Start the car for me and I get the rest of the stuff from the beach." handing her the keys to the car and went back to get his umbrella and the surfboards.
