Honor could see that Alec was just searching for a way to end this argument but it wasn't that simple to her. "Maybe we just need a break from each other so I can figure out what I want." She realized how cliched that sounded but it was the only solution she could think of. Hopefully the break would do them some good and they could continue on with their relationship but right now it would just crash and burn. "I still like you a lot. I just don't want to do anything stupid or hurt you even more than I probably already have.."

Honor walks over to Alec and wraps her arms around him. It was different, their situation. She didn't hate him at all, she could never. She still cared for him deeply but she was afraid if they didn't have a little break, things would be worse. "I just hope you don't find someone better in the process. We can still talk and be friends for the time being."

Honor looks up at him and immediately felt she a sudden mood change. Did she just make a mistake? She tries to smile back at him and shook her head. "I want you to understand this break isn't about me trying to find someone better than you..." She shrugged a little. "I don't know....I guess until I know what I really want? I want you to promise me something though. No matter what, if you happen to find someone better, go after her. I mean that too. I can almost guarantee you can do a lot better." She tries to laugh a bit, not wanting to sound too depressing.

Honor smirked at him when he mentions her hair. "Thank you." She felt like this was one of the hardest things she ever had to do. All she really wanted was to just lay down with him and relax but she knew it would be difficult anyway. When he pulls back from her, she can see that he's trying to distanced himself now, something she used to do all the time. Instead of making a fuss about it, she just nodded and kissed him on the cheek, not wanting to pull away from his skin. "Fuck, this is really hard.." She softly chuckles.

Honor thought for a minute. "You can stay if you want but if it's too hard, I understand. Jynx can stay with either of us, but I mean, again if it just reminds you of me then I can take her. I don't mind." She figured he probably wouldn't stay and that he'd probably bring Jynx to her. Maybe he'd get rid of everything that had to do with her but what was to be expected?

"Yeah..I suppose you're right." She nods. "That's cool. You can bring her anytime, I'll be here." Honor looks down a little, unsure of what to say now. Things had became comfortable to tense to awkward in a matter of seconds.

Honor, on the inside, was pleading for Alec to stay and thinking she was being absolutely unfair to him but she couldn't say it aloud and instead just slowly nodded. "Okay...well..." She softly bit down on her lip, wanting to ask him to stay but would that be selfish of her? What could they possibly do anyway? It would just be too awkward. "I guess I'll talk to you soon? Don't be a stranger, really."

Honor nods and follows him as he walks slowly. She had the urge to grab his shirt and pull him back but she fought it. "And you're always welcomed to come here. Hell, I'll mail you a key if you want one." She smiled a little. "Are you sure you maybe don't wanna stay for dinner or something?" She knew it was a huge risk to ask but she wanted him there anyway. "I'm making three cheese lasagna...it'd be a shame if all that cheese went to waste."
