Cassie smirks. The way Elle said she liked things simple....well that wasn't a good sign with Cassie around.

"Ummmm....I'm complicated. I used to be a singer in a rock band. Then I became a magazine columnist.....and then a country singer. I had a number one once." She chuckles and sighs. She might as well just tell her. "Also...umm....I have three kids. I had the first one....Jody, when I was 17. And then I got married when I was 18 and I had my twins, Cole and Gia. I'm not married anymore though."
