"I feel most people who know me would say I'm long-winded, so it could work." He stated, laughing slightly, reaching for his scotch to take a sip from it. "Well I'm old in the sense of being the oldest man you've dated. Unless there's this whole wide side of Izzy that means she's dated many men in their forties and fifties." He said jokingly, setting his drink down as he grabbed his fork again, cutting another piece of steak, swallowing it as he listened to her speak. "Thank you. Try for the scarf not to be too feminine. I don't need those rumors attached to me too." He chuckled for a moment before continuing, "Oh, another television show? I have heard that you've been focusing more on your acting side this year, which is a task in itself how you divide the two. I could not do that. I'd probably cut a good decade or two from my life at that rate. I do see where you're going with wanting to sit on the songs you're writing until you know what direction you want take. Usually there's that one song where you write and work a melody around it and you go, 'This is the one.' It's understandable. I know the expectations are quite high once you have that huge album. The follow-up is probably the hardest record you're ever going to make."

"I think maybe after a few more days like these...girlfriend might be acceptable." Izzy definitley wanted to test the waters out and see how she felt about everything first. "You're seasoned, not old. And no, I've never even dated that much to be perfectly honest. I wasn't really the girl to date back then. I was more the friend. But even then, most were close to my age. It's funny, I was always older though." She smirks. "What's your favorite color then? So there's no girly one headed your way." She listens to him and nods before laughing a bit. "It gets hard but I love acting. I just turn into someone else, kinda like when I'm on stage. I feel like a different character. I really want this album to be different but still me. I mean different from my last. I think I want to come out of my shell and not be afraid to talk about certain things. I know the pressure is on but I really just want to make a good album and not worry if It's better than the last really. I want it to be fun yet meaningful." She shakes her head. "I'm sorry, I'm like in interview mode."

"Well as long as the possibility is still there, then maybe a couple of more dates will be worth a shot." He told her with a small wink before laughing. He obviously didn't want to jump into anything this quickly, he was never the type to rush into any decision, in fact he was the type of person to over-think every small thing before doing it. "It was similar for me growing up, despite popular belief. I didn't have my first real relationship until I was 19 or 20 years old. I was too focused on learning to play guitar to really think about girls. But I guess I hit the ground running when I did." He chuckled a bit. His dating history was notably well-known in his years in the industry, coining him a infamous lothario in the process. "I can go with a strong navy blue, so it matches my personality." He told her in a somewhat sarcastic tone, having another sip of his drink. "You're obviously passionate about acting, you have that drive for it. It's really rare to see someone who goes into both the acting and musician fields, actually have a talent for both and be successful. In terms of the next album, I can tell you that's how you have to look at. You can't be thinking about making a part 2, because it'll likely fail and leave you disappointed most of all. You just have to loosen the past reigns and think about what's next." Ryan laughs softly, shaking his head along. "If anyone heard our conversation just now, they would probably think I'm mentoring you."

"I think you just secretly enjoy giving me that title already." Izzy looked up ay him and smiled before taking another bite of her steak. She appreciated the fact he was already willing to even think about her in that way. "Really? That is shocking to hear. My first ever boyfriend was actually Kato. Yup, first relationship and I had to experience it in front of everyone." She nods. "Navy blue, got it. For future references, I'm totally a pink girl." She giggles. "I am. I find it fascinating, especially all the different characters you can be and I get to act completely opposite of myself sometimes. I agree. I want my first album out of my mind when I record. I think most of the pressure is from myself. I'm such a perfectionist and I'm very critical of myself. It sucks sometimes."

"Don't flatter yourself yet, little lady." Ryan jokingly told her with a small wink, before cutting and taking a bite of his steak. He kept his fork in his hand, looking up at her as she spoke. "That's not the first time I get that reaction when I tell someone. I think I mentioned it in an interview once and everyone thought it was bullshit. Yeah, first relationship overall being in the spotlight must be such a difficult task. I can relate in the sense that I've been there before with relationships being under the media scope. I try my best to keep away from that these days. You can't win with the media whether you give them what they want or don't." He chuckled at her comment. "I will keep that in my mind, Izzy is a pink girl. In certain occasions I'm okay with pink too. I'll stop right there though." He told her with a small laugh. "I can see it now. 'Isabel Merjos in Fifty Shades of Grey.' I'd watch it." He grinned, shrugging his shoulders innocently. "I don't know if it's everyone but now on my sixth record I've kind of lost the perfectionist gene a bit. On the first few albums I really wanted everything to be and sound perfect. Now though, a lot of the stuff I'm putting on records now is really similar to how the demo sounds."

"Oh right, so sorry." She smirks and then continues to cut her steak up in little pieces, making it easier for her to eat it. "Well, you're not supposed to judge a book by it's cover so...don't worry. I think it's actually cute that you were more focused on guitar than girls. I think my brother is having the opposite affect." She laughs. "It was crazy, I never expected it to get that crazy. We literally had people following us all the time and, I guess I was too naive and thought people would respect our privacy. How wrong I was. It's just so complicated to focus on the other person sometimes when you have the media in your face and you can't even hold hands or kiss without them taking pictures and stuff. It was so weird having my parents see us on a tabloid making out." She shakes her head. "Hey, real men wear pink. I might send you a pink scarf. Although, I don't think I'd wear it, you have a reputation to keep, sir." She smirks again then eats another piece, listening as he spoke. "I don't know if I could get that confident on screen just yet. There's a few suggestive scenes in Alistair, but nothing too racy or controversial." Izzy ate another piece, dipping it in the sauce that was on her plate. "I've always been sort of OCD with my albums. I guess I worry too much. I just want this album to be fun and almost experimental. I want to try different stuff but have fun and not worry about opinions. I don't want to be like, 'I need to make this crazy record that will get everyone talking,' or anything like that. I think it'll come to me when it's time."

"Yeah, well for better or worse I found the guitar when I was about 13 years old and from there on my focus was just to get as good as possible at it because that's all that really grabbed my interest when I was younger." He chuckles when she brings up her brother. "That's not a bad thing, maybe it'll have the opposite effect than me. Be a ladies man when he's young then settle down young." He cuts a few more pieces of his steak, taking several bites as he listens to her, having another drink of his scotch to wash it down. "That's this crazy celebrity world for you. I don't know how I would have handled that sort of attention when I was you age. It's tough to adapt to that having to be your lifestyle." He paused for a moment, placing his glass down. "I know many people when I told them that I lived in Montana, if I really wanted to disconnect from this world that I would just date someone who wasn't famous, as if I should avoid this entire space of women." He chuckles, raising an eyebrow. "Wait, what reputation do I have to keep?" He cut up a few more small pieces, eating some more, still keeping in-check with everything she was saying. "As long as you don't force it together and wait until it comes to you, I'm sure the final product will make you very happy. Which at the end of the day it's all that matters."

"I focused on making music, that was the most important thing to me. I was convinced that I was going to be the next Stephanie Fierce and just be so huge. And then I said, 'Okay. I think making music has a whole lot more to it than that,' and that's why I'm the way I am now. I kind of like being Izzy." She smiled as she said she was happy being herself. She had seen so many people become obsessed with being like someone else that they lost themselves but Izzy was perfectly fine being who she was. She wasn't going to let music or anyone change her. "It was surreal. I didn't even want to be seen in public with Kato but then I didn't want to pretend I didn't know him. I just feel sorry for couples who are constantly in the media. At least my last one, it wasn't as publicized. I think it just has to do with how you deal with being in the public eye. I still feel nervous when I see paparazzi or someone trying to follow me. I really don't think I'll ever get fully comfortable with that but I have to suck it up and keep living." She laughs. "That seems logical but I mean you can't help who you're attracted to, and then they'd just harass them and that would be worse for me. Someone who isn't used to it at all." She took another bite and then smirked. "The whole sensitive yet manish guy. I don't know, maybe pink would work on you." She nods. "I won't. I tried that before. I always hate the songs that I feel are forced out of me."

"I feel like most people in the music industry or just this entertainment industry in general have gone through that phase. Usually something makes them hit that wall and realize that they can't aim to be someone else or stop acting a certain way. I'm not gonna lie, there was a time in my life to where I wanted world domination. I wanted to get everyone to like me, music aside, I just wanted everyone to see me and be like, 'he's a cool guy.'" He told her his side of the coin, which was quite a dark time in his life. In recent years the most difficult hardship in his life wasn't his vocal problems or a break-up, it was the fallout from the controversial interviews that made him crash down to earth in a way. "Exactly, there's still a way to stay away from the media eye when you really want. It requires a lot of planning, decoy cars, and all that crap, but it's possible to live your life without the constant lens eye there." Ryan smirked, eating some more of the steak. "I actually don't think I own anything pink, attire wise. I've become more of the denim on denim kind of guy in recent years." He chuckled, setting down his knife and fork to take hold of his scotch, drinking most of what was left in the glass.

"Yeah, exactly. I think it's a phase everyone goes through. There's nothing wrong with it but I think people tend to lose their credibility once it's all about money. I really have a pet peeve of like when people bash others and they do it by saying how much they sold or something, I hate that so much. I feel like people shouldn't do that at all. What's it matter what you sold?" She shrugged a little. "Yes, I actually get annoyed at things." She laughs a little. "Sometimes, I have no clue how they manage to find out where I am anyway. I think they are like hacking my account or phone." She smirks. "Well, most people say one weird thing or wrong thing and it follows them forever. People are allowed to make mistakes, we're all human. I'd rather see an artist that screws up and can accept it and move on then someone who is seemingly perfect. I can't relate to them as much." Izzy had finished her steak and placed her knife and fork down beside the plate, wiping her mouth with her napkin. "I love denim, denim is awesome. I had to have denim in my collection." She drinks some more wine and then sighs a little, as her food digests. "That was so good, did you like your food?"

"Yeah, I've never understood why people would start pissing matches with people about how much they've sold. I'll never sell as much as Stephanie Fierce or GirlSpice has sold, but I'm totally okay with that. My music isn't anywhere near that sound-scape and demographic they aim for. You just have to know that you're being true to yourself with whatever you do, be it music or anything else in your life." He told her calmly, steering the small amount of alcohol that was left in his glass. "It's interesting to me how you can say one weird or wrong thing then it's something that people remember you about forever. I don't know, like in my case, I know I still get asked about things I say or did nearly four years ago, as if I couldn't have changed from then to now. I was a jerk for a time but I've made the changes in my life to not be that way any longer because I wasn't happy." Ryan finishes the last few pieces of his steak that remained, before drinking the small amount of scotch that was left in his glass, placing the glass down on the table. "I'm sure you look much better in denim than I do without question, Iz." He told her with a tiny grin, reaching for his wine and having a sip from it, smirking over at her. "I did, it was delicious. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed it too."

"Yeah, I'm fine with that too. I'll be glad with 5 copies sold." She laughs. "I'm fine with my audience, even if it's kids. As long as people love it." She smiles. "Yeah. I feel like I always have to be careful how I word things or people will attack you for years and years to come. Well, if you were a jerk, you sure did a complete 360. I like this Ryan." She stares at him for a few seconds, feeling her face heat up and she knew she must have been blushing. "A few years ago, I would have been considered a pushover. But, luckily, I found a voice now and I think I'm quite vocal about things I want. That's my new thing now, I'm going to go after all the things I want without any regrets, or I'll try." She nodded her head and then smirked. "Thanks. I'll make sure to wear some on our next date maybe?" She was enjoying herself so much with Ryan. She hadn't felt this happy in a while now. "Yes, it was amazing. I'm going to have to come here more often now."

"I do know your audience is mostly kids and teenagers, but that's still an audience you're providing entertainment and music for. It's needed in the world as much as the singer who has the middle-aged housewives as their main demographic. Not at a reference at myself, my demographic is difficult to pinpoint. Maybe women between the ages of 18 and 49?" He stated with slight skepticism in his voice, before chuckling a bit. "Yeah, it some ways it feels like we're constantly walking on eggshells with what and how we say things." He lowered his a head, running a hand through his hair as she spoke about him not seem like a jerk. "I'm self-aware enough to realize I was a jerk at that time. Thank you though. I'm pleased to hear you found some appeal in this whole mess I am." He laughed softly, raising his head to look at Izzy, smirking. "That's a good approach to life. You can't live through the idea someone else has of you. You just need to do what you feel is best for you personally, everyone else is a second fiddle." He smiled at the mention of a next date, taking another sip from his wine. "Awwww, look at that. We could match with both of us wearing denim on our next date." Ryan nodded his head, feeling quite comfortable with Izzy. "It's a really great place on Sunset Boulevard. I'm glad you liked it so much. I should start getting paid for referring people here."

"I'm hoping to maybe get more adults this time. I've seen a lot of adults at my shows before so maybe I'm getting there." She smiles in approval of herself. "Actually, I'd like to appeal to anyone with my music, boy or girl, young or elderly. I think that's what a wonderful artist can do. Well, when I was younger, I used to listen to you all the time, and PANIC!" Izzy had a very wide range of musical taste which often shocked people as they thought she'd be the typical teen that loves nothing but Britney Spears and Madonna. "I always get nervous on certain interviews, they can be nerve wracking. I used to just want to please everyone but thankfully, I'm not like that anymore." She laughs at him when he jokes about wearing matching denim, her hand nonchalantly touching his as she spoke. "You should. Do you want to get dessert or should we get out of here now?"

He chuckled a little at her comment about listening to him when she was younger. "Oh, I can just imagine you 12 or 13 years old, with my poster in your bedroom." He suggested with a laugh, although liking the fact that she seemed to be a fan of his music. "I was quite shocked to see you at my show last week, that was a surprise. A nice surprise though, clearly now that shows you how funny things work sometimes." Ryan smirked, still a bit shocked that he was on a date with Izzy. Just a week ago he wouldn't have guessed it. "I understand where you're coming from. In recent interviews I'm so uncomfortable and nervous, but that's natural. I rather come off as uncomfortable than act like I have all the answers. You know, you sound a lot like me. Minus the gender difference, age difference, and good looks on your end." He smiled, noticing her hand touching his, not saying anything but gently gazing his thumb against her hand. "If you have the sweet tooth for dessert, we could order something. Otherwise we could get out of here. Don't think our date is ending just yet though." He told her with a soft smile, calling the waitress over with his free hand.

"Yeah, everyone says that when I say I'm a fan. I always found that strange." She laughed. "I guess I can only like certain genres? But yes, totally fell in love with you as an artist. I like envy your ability to tell stories with your lyrics and your lyrics are always amazing." She rested her cheek against her hand as they talked. "I loved it, you're a great performer and why wouldn't I? It was a fun show. I've always wanted to go but I was usually away or busy." Izzy was still amazed this was all happening. She'd never guess he was ever interested in her in a million years or that they would be sitting together, flirting and on a date. "I think we're a lot alike actually despite all those things, yes. It's amazing who you connect with when you just spend time with them." She smiled as his thumb was up against her hand. "Oh, I always have a sweet tooth. I think I'll get something small so it's not too much." She smirked at him. "Really, there's more? I would have been just satisfied with dinner."

"It's okay, Izzy. I won't tell anyone you actually had my poster on your wall." He added jokingly after her with a laugh, shaking his head. "I never really had any posters on my wall growing up either. I have my guitar idols, but never did I feel the need to show off who I was a fan of, in my room." He chuckled as she spoke her admiration of him as an artist. With his recent changes in his life, he has become more reserved in accepting any acclaims to his name. Whenever someone did complement his music he found it humbling and thankful as that was all he wanted to be known for. "Oh, stop. At this rate I'm going to actually believe you. Thank you for the extremely kind words." He nodded his head, his thumb still running against her hand as his own was kept under hers. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. You came out on a good night, that was a very fun show to play as the guy up on stage with the guitar at hand. It is always humbling to hear someone just attending enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed playing." Ryan smiled at her, his eyes shifting over to the waitress who came over and asked them how they enjoyed their meals, taking the plates. "It was wonderful, thank you. We could please have a dessert menu? There's a sweet tooth in this table we gotta take care of before leaving for the evening."

"My room was filled with posters of Selena and Britney Spears...so I probably just put myself back in that stereotype for teen girls." She smirked. "Oh, and the amazing Judy Garland, I love her. Her and Rachael McAdams are like my teo favorite actresses ever. I wanted to be like them when I was little." She knew that Ryan probably would be humble in accepting her compliments but that just added to his charm to her. She was like that herself. "Well good, you should believe me. I think it's okay to know if you're good or not. No one can ever deny your talent. Me? I might be difficult. My music isn't for everyone. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they hate your music, even if they disliked you. That's how awesome you are." She laughed at his comment to the waitress and then turned her attention to her. "I'll have, um...the chocolate lava cake. That sounds yummy."

"My God! We truly are a talented bunch. The fact that we write entire albums all on our own while the biggest stars in the world have 45 co-writers on ONE track?? Where the hell are OUR record deals and GRAMMYS?" -BrownSugar

"Britney Spears? Oh dear god. I need the check. This date is over now." He jokingly stated with a small laugh. "That's really endearing. I can see a little Judy Garland in you." He smirked, shaking his head after she spoke about his music some more. "Oh, I have my fair amount of haters who strongly dislike my music too, which I'm fine with. I can't please everyone with the music I want to make. But I guess I rather be liked or hated in terms of my music instead of anything else." He tried to be as sly as he could, slipping his hand from underneath his and now placing it on top of hers. "Well rarely does the public and the critics agree. Personally I feel like my music isn't as successful as yours or any other female popstar. There's nothing wrong with that, just different veins of music. The tides have changed in the past decade in terms of what's truly mass appealed." Ryan smirks as she orders her dessert. "No, no thank you. I might steal a bite or two from hers." He suggests with a chuckle as the waitress clears the table of their plates and goes off to bring Izzy's dessert.

Izzy giggles. "I can't help who I love. She's one of the main reasons I'm here today. And thank you, Judy is gorgeous so that's a huge compliment." She laughed a little. "Yes but even Hayden likes your music. No one can deny your talent. Even if they have a grudge against you. At least, I've never heard it or met anyone that can." She smiles to acknowledge his hand moving on top of hers now. "Really? I've always thought you were more successful than me. I mean...maybe Vanity. She kind of has every Pop star beat though. I know plenty of people who prefer older music than the new music. Not everyone can adjust to the times changing." She laughs. "I might just let you steal a bite or two if you continue to be sweet."
