"She can say choppy sentences. It gets confusing if you don't listen closely." She laughs a little. "Of course not. I doubt we need to have a dinner where Sophie blurts out our love life." Gia watches him. "I was joking babe. Are you hungry? I think there's soup left. Actually, I'm sure there's enough to feed the block."

"Bailey can say little things here and there. She's more focused on toys right now. Sophie is the chatterbox. She will talk to you all day, if you let her." Gia laughed. "I told them not to encouraged behavior not appropriate for the children. They aren't as crazy." She sighs a little. "What about we go to Californian for a vacation and go to that Disney Resorts place, I think it's called? They have rides and stuff."

"They were...I've told you this before." She laughs. "They were kind of free. Not very strict parents. I basically did what I wanted with very limited supervision. They were awesome. I guess I just wanted someone to tell me I was screwing up though." She shrugged a little as she started to walk downstairs with him. "It's settled then. We'll go sometime next year."

"Of course, that's what I'm here for. And to applaud their amazing work and achievements." She smiles at him as he puts his hand against her back. It was nice to seek him so protective of her while she was pregnant. "Yeah, she makes some good soup. It's one of the highlights of Winter here." She smirks. "I wonder if people will be trying to see pictures of Logan when he's born. Do you think we should try to hide while getting out of the hospital or no?"

It was a cold morning in New York, cold and bright just how Scott liked them. It was part of the reason he had moved here in the first place. Normally he'd spend a morning like this sitting out back on the porch with a coffee while Sophie chased the dogs around the garden, giggling in a way that always made Scott smile. Today it was different though. He was sat in the large lavish room he and Gia had booked for the arrival of their son in what was the best hospital around. It was a world of difference to when their daughter Bailey had been born. This time they had a chance to relax and wait for the time to come. Scott had been by the bed most of the time since they arrived, holding her hand. He was too nervous to leave her alone, in case he missed the birth or if something went wrong. He was riddled with nerves, but at the same time absolutely delighted that he was just a few hours away from being a dad again. In their two and a half years together, this was his and Gia's third child, and he knew it would just serve to bring even more love into all their lives. Scott loved his wife and kids more than anything in the world, and they all made him smile every day. The only time he left her side was to go check on their daughters, who were with Gia's parents in the hospital, awaiting the arrival of their new little brother. Every time he'd enter, Sophie would ask "Logan is here?" and Scott would laugh. It seemed Logan was against getting up too early, much like his dad. Scott chose his times to see Sophie and Bailey mostly to coincide with Layla checking up on Gia. He had nothing against her at all, but he felt weird being in the same room as her after his friend had left her for another woman. He didn't know what to say. For most of the day, though, Scott had been enjoying the view out across the hills from the windows, just being there for Gia and keeping her spirits up when she got fed up of being cooped up in bed. As the night went on though it became apparent that she was starting to feel a lot more discomfort. Scott would smile sympathetically at her and allow her to squeeze his hand every time a contraction coursed through her. He knew it wasn't easy on her. Even though this was their third child she had never experienced a natural birth before and each contraction seemed to take more out of her than the last. Scott tried to keep her spirits up with some jokes and general chat, but he wasn't sure how well he was doing. When she asked for drugs, he nods. "Me too babe. What kind should I get?" he laughs.

Scott can immediately see the look on Gia's face when he makes his joke and he narrows his eyes before smiling at her again. It was hard in this situation. Nothing he could say would make her feel better, and Scott could hardly empathise with what she was going through. But he wanted to be there for her when she was going through something like this. He nods and stands up, kissing her on the forehead. "I'll get the nurse babe. If it's too sore you don't have to do it natural at all." He gives her hand another little squeeze before going to find a nurse to help Gia.

Scott nods when Gia talks. It was clear there wasn't much he could say at this time that would make her feel better. She was agitated and scared, and as much as he was scared as well, he couldn't imagine what she was going through. He sighs and lifts her hand, kissing the back of it gently. "I know, babe," he says quietly. "it won't be long now I promise." He smiles and makes his way out of the room to find a nurse. A few minutes later they come back and the nurse smiles at Gia as Scott holds her hand again. "Well Mrs Hilton," the nurse says. "Your husband...who can't possiby appreciate it, says you're in pain." She smiles at Gia. "Tell me whatever you need dear." Scott looks over at Gia and rubs her hand gently. "Are you ok babe?"

Scott sighs as he sits beside Gia. He felt, for the first time in his life, that he was totally useless and could do very little to help. The nurse nods at Gia and walks out of the room. "No worries, dear. I'll just get the doctor for you." Scott looks over at her when the nurse leaves. "Hey, babe. Just think. In a short time, we'll be able to meet our son." He says, trying to make her feel a little more relaxed and excited about the full thing. Scott stands up. "Besides, I bet you must be nearly all the way dilated now," he says, innocently walking down to the other end of the bed, where he sees, to his immense shock, just how dilated Gia is. "Oh...sweet Jesus..." he mutters, holding onto the bed to stop himself fainting. He had never ever seen a vagina in that state before. It looked so terrifying to him, but he forces a smile, all for Gia's sake. "It's....all...it's...hey...hey Gia, everything's going great down here....here...babe," he mutters, brushing his hair back with his hand, his eyes glazed over.

Scott laughs a little and shakes his head. "I wondered if that was a thing pregnant women really said. I know it's my fault babe. Me and my sperm are evil, right?" When his face turns to horror at the way her vagina looks, he looks up at her for a second. "Yeah...I've....just...it's normally not like that, Gia." He blinks and walks back up to her, trying to banish the thought from his head. He can see she is starting to sweat and get really uncomfortable now, so Scott gently wipes her head with a cold cloth. "I know babe. I know. No more kids," he chuckles, giving her his hand to squeeze when he sees another contraction coming.

Scott looked up when he saw the nurse and doctor coming around the corner and rubbed Gia's shoulder reassuringly. "You'll be fine soon babe." He smiles at the nurse and helps Gia to sit up. He then makes his second mistake in the last few minutes as he looks at the needle when the doctor looks at it. Did it really need to be quite that long? He tried not to show it on his face so as not to scare Gia, but the needle almost terrified him. He then makes his next mistake when he looks back and sees the needle going into his wife's spine. "Jesus...." he moans, feeling his knees go weak. He shudders and looks back at her. "Really? I'm not getting a vasectomy babe. Have you any idea how much that would hurt?" As soon as he said it he knew it was the wrong thing to say.
