Blood of WeczThe Final ChapterDeath metal icons and veterans Blood of Wecz have released details of their final tour before splitting up. The now two-piece outfit consisting of long term best friends Mark Talley and Scott Rose Hilton released In Renatum, the band's fifteenth studio album later this year, before revealing they would be doing one last world tour before they decided to call it a day. Starting on November 20th, the tour will span just over a month, with the band going out on a high by playing some of the largest stadiums and open spaces to be found anywhere in the world. Each show will consist of a greatest hits show from the band as they round off one of the most eventful and colourful - not to mention controversial - music careers of all time.
The tour will kick off with a concert in the adopted homeland of Blood of Wecz at New York's MetLife Stadium on November 20th, before sweeping quickly across America and Canada. Afterwards, it will take in parts of the eastern world, including Japan and Australia, before coming to a close in the most successful territory for Blood of Wecz throughout their lengthy career - Europe. The tour will culminate in 2 massive 120,000 capacity shows in London's Hyde Park, before a farewell to the country of Scott's birth, Scotland, at Edinburgh Castle on December 29th. Finally, the tour will draw into the 200 capacity Cave at Leeds University. This, the setting of the first ever Blood of Wecz live show in 1998, will book end the career of one of metal's biggest bands perfectly, allowing Mark Talley to set off on his growing solo career, and Scott to retire into fatherhood.

Tour SupportAdditional support acts for the tour will be announced in the week before the first dates get under way with a hometown concert in New York, but Blood of Wecz are delighted to announce the special guests who will take to the stage on each night of our farewell tour. Throughout November and December, death metal's icons will be joined by goth rock hero
LILY ABBOTT, a long-term friend of Scott Rose Hilton. The band are also delighted to announce that main support throughout the tour will be provided by the hottest band in the world - the up and coming legends of tomorrow
PURE.Scott Rose Hilton said: "Having Lily come out with us is top top class. I've known the girl for a number of years, and she is one of the best rock artists around. She's been a great friend to me over the years as well. To have her out with us on our last ever run will be nice. It's been too long that we have collaborated and worked together without ever having been on the same tour, so it's definitely time to rectify that. I look forward to it, it'll be great fun, and I know Lily - she will bring it every night. Make sure you get there early to see that girl tear up the stage.
Mark Talley said: I think if someone said we would have an act like PURE on this tour, I'd have told them to fuck off. I mean, they are like easily the fastest rising act in the world right now. Their album is the best album of this entire year for me, and one of my favourites of all time. I know they are going to deliver every night, and if we're not careful, they might even steal the show! Most importantly though, I'm sure we'll have fun with those guys. I did my solo tour with them in March this year and they are a bunch of top top blokes. I can't wait to get the chance to hang with them again and just chill and swap ideas. This is going to be an amazing tour, and I am so fucking stoked to have PURE on it. Seriously, this is the best.
