SYNCO - Over


A video begins the quality of the video doesn't seem to be too good but we can easily make out the five girls of SYNCO sitting on a floor together Layla Sanchez on the left Naomi White right next to her Jamie Jackson in the middle then to her right Nicole Wright and last but not least all the way on the right we see Alex Grey there is no sound until the girls begin singing together in harmony making it it sound almost like there's instruments playing in the background however there are none playing yet the girls continue with these harmonies until Jamie begins singing in a high pitch adding little runs into the song as she sings in that high pitch as she sings a guitar could be heard being plucked very lightly it's hardly noticeable over the girls harmonizing in the back as Jamie sings after Jamie finishes her part we then hear Alex come in with her husky mature voice sounding hauntingly beautiful on this slow track the girls continue singing the beautiful harmonies in the background as the guitar continues to be lightly plucked while Alex sings which just adds to the beauty the girls especially Alex had always sounded better in live stripped back performances than recorded or with dance routines the girls despite their young ages seemed to fit more mature music than dance songs which they were good at but songs like this they just sounded so much better on we finally hear Layla come in on the chorus singing in that unique sort of raspy voice that people either love or hate and of course she adds some of those runs that she's known for the girls still continue to harmonize in the back the guitar can also still be heard being played lightly all of the girls then begin singing the rest of the chorus together after Layla's part in it is finished they sing the chorus in harmony together while the guitar continues playing lightly in the background for awhile before the chorus comes to an end Nicole then comes in singing in a high sweet voice sound better than she's ever sounded she sings her small part in the song beautifully as the girls continue harmonizing in the back the guitar is still being plucked lightly as the girls continue we then hear Layla come in once again with that unique voice adding a bit more power to it now as the girls and guitar continue in the background she also adds more runs than she did in the chorus the girls sing the chorus once again the same way they did before while the guitar continues playing the same way it was before the chorus then comes to an end and Naomi comes in singing in that bluesy voice taking the bridge of the song Naomi didn't have the strongest voice in the group but still sounded beautiful as she sang her part the girls stopped and the guitar slowed down even more leaving her to do this part acapella the guitar comes back in once again and the girls sing the chorus the same way they had the first and second time just changing it up a little bit this time adding a few more runs and ad libs to the song until the song comes to an end the girls then all smile looking happy with how they performed the song before the video begins to fade to black
