"No. French. Much better. A lot of making out and not caring about your personal hygiene..." Nichole laughs and stretches, looking around. "I want to just leave now... No offense, but Japan is kind of scary for me now. And I haven't seen any tentacle rape yet, so I'm pretty sure you lied to me about that, you b-i-t-c-h." She winks, and shakes her head. "Yeah, you're right. This isn't like what our situation was at all. There was more to us than just some quick fucking and sneaking around." She shakes her head. "Look, I don't know what the fuck you're expecting me to do. I haven't spoken to Honor in weeks, and now she's openly attacking me on Twitter for no reason. So you tell me what my response should be, Erica. Tell me what's going to make you happy, okay?" She crosses her arms and waits for Erica's magical guidance. "We both know that you're going to take Honor's side for some reason, so just tell me how I can soften the blow towards me."

"If you wash your hands of this, then you'll stay out of it, Erica. Maybe you don't give a shit about Faith, but I do, and what your friend is doing is hurting her, and maybe Honor DESERVES to be hurt back. And nobody is asking you to bring your daughter into this. Nobody has ever asked you to bring Takara into this. Please stop playing some sort of victim card, like you're the one being hurt by all this. Because as far as I can tell, nobody is giving you shit for no fucking reason." Nichole shakes her head, throwing her hands in the air. "You know what? I will go. You're so... so... ugh!" She grabs her purse from the couch. "You know, maybe I'm not an especially good person, but I'm trying. I'm trying so god damn hard with you. I don't know why I'm being punished for something that Honor is doing right now. I haven't said anything to her, and you're pulling this, 'I won't be in the middle of you two!' game. The only person putting you in the middle of us is her, because she's the only person starting anything right now. We both know that I could spill her dirty little secret right now, on Twitter, in front of everybody, and I'm not. I'm being a good person, and she's attacking me for no reason." She scrolls through her phone, trying to find the number she had of the English speaking taxi service. "Please tell me how you being with me is you taking my side. What's the other side of that coin? Being alone? Would you rather be alone?"

"If I were saying that same shit to Honor, you wouldn't be this calm and accepting of it, and you know that," Nichole counters, her eyes brimming with angry tears. Hearing that she wasn't a helpful factor for Erica was difficult to hear, even though she knew that what was happening couldn't be helpful for anybody. "I'm here because I love you. For some reason, I thought you were with me for the same reason. Not because it means you would be on 'my side' or because you thought you owed me or something like that." She shakes her head. She rubs her palms into her eyes, trying to hide the fact that she's crying over Erica as she dials the number in her phone. "Fine then."

Nichole looks at Erica phone without touching it, just letting her eyes skim it. She bounces on her heels, upset and feeling lonely all of the sudden. "I know you love me. We both just have really backwards-ass ways of showing it sometimes," she says quietly, picking up Erica's phone and handing it back to her. "Look, I won't tell Faith anything any time soon. But I don't think you should tell Honor. I don't feel that way out of emotion, but out of logic. If Honor knows that Faith might know, then she could make the first strike, and that'd... that'd make it ten times worse for Faith. I know you don't care about her, but I do, and this is going to destroy her when she finds out. From one human being to another, give Faith this. For me?" She wipes the rest of the tears away from her face and then grabs a compact out of her purse, checking her face for any makeup smudges. "And just saying you're on my side doesn't mean you're on my side, Erica. I'm sorry, but if anybody ever said anything nasty towards you, you know I'd be down their throat faster than they could scream. And I know you're not like me, and you're sweet and nice and everybody's best friend, but I need to know that you recognize that what your friend said hurt me. Just tell me you know that."

Nichole gives Erica a small smile and wraps her arms around her. To other people, Nichole may seem horrible and "evil" (ooc: fuck you guys), but she had a soft spot for many people. One of those was Erica. See her sniffle or anything close to crying made every ill thought Nichole have of her disappear. "Thank you for saying that. I really appreciate it. I love you. I'm sorry I threatened to leave. I didn't mean it. We both know I wouldn't have left anyway." She keeps her arms wrapped around her as she thinks. "I don't want to tell Faith now. I think it's a conversation that I need to have with her in person. I just need you to promise me that in between now and then, you're not going to give Honor the upper hand. Please?"

OOC: No, she totally is a little scummy. I accept this. But I love her.

"I need you, too," Nichole says back. At first she says it back just to be polite - it would be rude to say that you didn't need somebody who just told you that they need you - but after she said it, she realized that it was completely true. She did need Erica in the same way that Erica needed her. Maybe they were both using each other as replacements for the spouses that they lost, but they did love each other, and there are worse things to build a relationship on than emotional dependency. "I'm not going to leave. I promise. I promise I'll only leave if you kick me out on my ass. And even then, I'll probably still be kicking and screaming." She kisses her softly and then sighs. "No more fighting for the rest of the week. Promise." She giggles a little.

Nichole laughs when Erica brings up Prague. "You know I wouldn't kick you out. Although it would make for a very dramatic scene..." Her voice gets deeper and more melodic as she describes the scene in her head. "You walking alone, baby in your arms. The streets of Prague are so lonely and dark and scary, as you think about the Golem-- by the way!" Her voice completely changes, going back to her regular speaking voice. "I had no idea that the myth of the Golem started in Prague, but it totally did. I didn't know that, and I was raised Jewish. Shit's weird."

Nichole laughs and shakes her head. "No, the myth of the Golem has been around since, like, the 16th century. " She shrugs and hangs up her phone, realizing that she had dialed the cab service and then never said anything to them. "But Prague has this crazy story about the Golem that this rabbi created one to protect them from the Nazis, but the Golem turned out to be, like, super unresponsive and tried to kill everybody - or something, I don't know, I wasn't totally listening - and now he's supposed locked in this attic of this synagogue that's in the middle of the city. Cool shit."

"We should totally do that," Nichole says back, giggling and rolling her eyes. If the Golem were real, he could easily take down two women that were well under 5'5". But it was fun to pretend that they were badasses sometimes. "Ugh, I scheduled that plane for tomorrow morning, but I can see if I can change it to, like... now? I'm just ready to get out of here."

"Oh my god, yeah, let's do that. Let's go to Argentina before we head over to the Czech Republic. Fuck up some former Nazis' retirement home lunches, and then we'll go start our new lives," Nichole says with a laugh, throwing her head back. She can see how uneasy Erica looks about them leaving now. She sets her phone down, midway through changing the times of the flight, and arches one of her eyebrows. "We don't have to go now. We can stay. I'm fine with that." She nods when Erica requests for them to stay in Japan a week each month. She could deal with that.
