"Scott!" She said, playfully pushing him. "Not funny." She laughed a little. "Well now you know how it was when you were on tour. I know you do. Now that I'm home, you can nap and I'll check on them for you. Trust me, dealing with them is like working a 30 hour shift. You're lucky you get lunch and pee breaks." Gia smiles. "Thank you. Yeah, I don't know what crazy juice they are sipping. I was so annoyed with the stories and all the backstabbing but you know what? Like I said already, karma will hit them all hard. Maybe not today, or tomorrow but it will." She sits down and nods. "I do know how you love to be tied up...maybe." She giggled.

Gia pouts a little. "Aww, she's teething? Did you give her the little ice soother in the freezer? That's another problem in its own then. She's not getting any sleep like how Sophie was when she started teething." She smiled when he mentioned how Sophie would cry. "Maybe it's her sisterly love coming to the aid. She doesn't like to see Bailey in pain or sad and then she gets sad." She shook her head, not really wanting to discuss the drama again. It would only make her angry and she felt happy for once about her label. Gia kisses him back before laying her purse next to her on the couch. "You said you had something to tell me that you saw...what is it?"

"Aww." She smiled at the cute sight between him and his daughter, her biting on his finger. "That's adorable babe." She laughs. "Yeah, she is. Just like.." She paused before saying Alex's name. She felt there was no need really and that it would probably upset Scott. "Just like her parents, loving the attention." Gia gets herself comfortable as she listens to him speak. "Sometimes, not really. Some couples are able to really get along afterwards."

Gia looked at her suspiciously, wondering where he was headed with this. "It depends...not all relationships are the same, you know that. Why are you asking me this?" She couldn't possibly figure out why he had taken such a keen interest on separation or relationships at the moment.

Gia rolled her eyes. "Seriously, what is it? I can't promise anything without knowing the full details." She was intrigued now. It was almost like he had this extravagant secret to share with Gia but he was being cautious so it could possibly upset her.

"They're getting back together. You didn't know that?" Gia smirked a little. Of course she was annoyed with the thought since Mark had practically left her to date Nadia Berry, no matter ow he tried to deny it. It looked bad altogether and he seemed like an insensitive jerk but when Layla told her about the two spending time together, she didn't like that much either. "I don't like it. I feel he's going to hurt her again. Guys just hurt women all the time, even when they apologize. He was a jerk and he tried to go to the other side, didn't like what he saw, and now wants to get back to Layla. That's bullshit."

"Of course, Layla is my best friend. I know when she's breathing." Gia laughed and sighed. "I don't think she's dumb. Let's not forget....I took you back after you cheated on me. It's not that we women are dumb. It's that we love you assholes so much and are willing to almost do anything to not break up a family. I'm sure she had conflicts about it, she didn't even want to let me know but she did. She's just in love. Yes, he was an asshole but I know my Layla. She didn't just let him back in, not pretending anything happened. I'm sure the two haven't even slept together and he's been sleeping in another room. I did not raise a fool." She winked at Scott. "You men always have to do something stupid to discover you have a great woman in front of you."

"To be honest, I think it would have been a little less painful if you did...but that's neither here nor there." Gia didn't like to think about their past so much. It was filled with a lot of unhappy memories for her and lonely nights. But for now, she focused on the 'now' and how he was treating her and spending time with the kids. She didn't want to hold him in fault over things that happened almost a year ago. "A family isn't just someone with children. A family is two or more people who love each other. They may not be a family now but they were. Plus, you're only saying that because you two have a personal, and quite stupid, vendetta against one another." She shrugs. "I don't think they are even ready for that right now to be honest and there's no point in rushing anything. Plus, I doubt she'd plan a wedding like before. She'd be better off just going to the courthouse."

"Obviously. I wouldn't have been the side chick. We wouldn't have been together and it would have been a little less worse. No woman wants to know that her husband or boyfriend is bold enough to be with someone else while still with another person." She sighs. "Because? Something stupid that's why. You two should stop it. I'm pretty sure it's not that important." She shrugs. "I guess, I don't know. I'm sure she'll always have a fear that he'll leave again. All women who have been left or cheated on have that fear so it's hard to have 100% trust in a relationship after that. It also makes their self-worth go down because they feel they aren't as amazing or pretty as other women."

Gia sighs. "I don't want to talk about this, Scott." She knew that deep down he would never understand how she felt and she didn't want to relive it all over again. Instead, she just decided to move on from it and not let it get to her anymore. She also knew that the supposed 'beef' between him and Mark was merely a bunch of macho man mess. "Seriously? You're going to sit there and act jealous of your best friend? He's your best friend. You're supposed to be happy for him, not jealous. No wonder he's mad at you." She couldn't believe that it was all over the fact he felt like he was being outdone. "Men. You're all the same, literally. You don't hate him, you two just need a good pot to your head and then you'd be alright." She stood up, heading for the kitchen. Scott had a habit of telling on himself with his face and she could tell that right now he was thinking about what she said. Of course, she felt bad but then again she didn't. She had been hurt so many times by him and so she felt it was her right to bring it back up sometimes. Of course she still had doubts sometimes. She didn't just want to be made a fool of again. She trusted him but then she was scared. "Do you want anything from the kitchen?"
