Mercedes frowns a little when she hears about Rory and Veronica breaking up. It's never nice to hear about a break up, especially if it involves a friend. "Aw, sorry to hear that but onward and upwards, yeah?" She smiles a little, not wanting to continue the conversation about the break-up as she has no idea if he's OK discussing it. Besides, talking about a failed relationship isn't exactly an ideal topic during a fun night in. "Rory, keep lying to yourself, mate. You just can't stand the fact that you always lose to a girl." Mercedes winks before finally getting everything all set up. "When you drink, you seem to think you can do anything and yet you still lose to me. Honestly though, I'd rather be in the presence of a drunken Rory than a drunken Billy because he's a pain in the arse at times when he's pissed and you know how he likes to shed his clothes when he's drunk too." She laughs a little and sits down next to him.

"Welcome to the Single Club. You get a whole bed to yourself and save a fortune on Valentine's Day. You're going to love it." She chuckles and takes a controller into her hand. Mercedes always finds it amusing how Rory always tries to wriggle out of the fact that a girl is better than him when it comes to playing FIFA. It's not as if Rory is bad, Mercedes is just extremely skilled at this game. She pats him on the thigh, patronising him. "One day you'll be as good as me, Rory. You just need to keep on practicing and maybe in two years time you'll be half as good as what I am right now." She laughs and playfully nudges him. "Well at least it'll make a change from Billy's bare arse parading around." She playfully winks at him.

Mercedes chuckles. "I don't really like being single either, it gets boring after a while. I split up with Luke like....over half a year ago. Been here at home alone with my cat since then. I sound like an old recluse." She laughs and pats Rory on the thigh again, trying to patronise him once more. "Keep telling yourself that, Rory. You know deep down though that it will be another victory for me." She laughs ruffles his hair, trying to wind him up. The good thing about Mercedes is that while she is girl and has her own interests, she can adapt and easily be 'one of the boys'. She has a lot of male friends and this was something her previous boyfriend didn't like as he wanted her to himself and felt as if he should be the only man in her life. "You can strip off if you like, whatever floats your boat, mate. It'll actually make it easier to whip your little arse." She jokes.

Mercedes laughs as she listens to Rory. It is always apparent to Mercedes that he is flirting with her but she has always assumed Rory is joking about it. Now that he is single and still dropping these little hints, she is starting to wonder about things. "Thanks for all the flattery but believe me, it is really hard to find a guy. Yeah, I've had offers but I'm looking for someone that really gets me. Someone that can trust me. My last boyfriend split up with me just because I would hang out with groups of guys. I have male friends. Friends and nothing more, I'm not that kind of girl. I can't stand jealous and controlling guys. I need someone on the same level as me." She sighs and laughs a little after her mini-rant. Mercedes listens to Rory's stipulation. It does sound fun but she thinks about things again. They both know that Mercedes always scores high, which would mean that Rory knows he'll probably end up naked. It's as if he wants it to happen. "Hmm....you are mad, Rory Delaney." She thinks about it again for a moment then smirks. "OK then, you're on. I'm brave...I know that you won't score many so why not?" she winks.

"It would be nice to find someone, I guess. If only it were that easy though." Mercedes is picking up on everything Rory is saying and hinting at but doesn't want to say anything in case she is wrong. She has always liked Rory, found him attractive and would date him if they were both single but obviously she was faithful to Luke and didn't do anything about it. Luke didn't trust Rory. Veronica didn't trust Mercedes. An outsider might assume that Mercedes and Rory have always had a thing for each other. "I would never cheat either, I could never do that. It would just feel so dirty and wrong. I'm not one of those girls." She smiles at Rory then chuckles when he mentions he has no shame. "Rory, you're going to get trashed so you might as well just take your clothes off right now."

"Yeah, I'm waiting for that slap across the face too." She sighs and rests her head on Rory's shoulder, wanting to get a little closer to him but not wanting to say anything out loud. She could be misreading all the signals and doesn't want to embarrass herself by saying anything that might turn this into a rather awkward situation. "Single life is a bitch." She laughs and sits up when Rory winks. "Well I'm assuming you have a nice body so if you've got it, flaunt it." Mercedes winks and prepares herself as Rory is unpredictable and does have the guts to just strip off.

"Yeah, very comfortable." She laughs lightly and looks at Rory. "Like I said though, I need to be with someone that really gets me...and who doesn't mind being beaten on video games by a girl. You know anyone like that?" Mercedes asks, dropping a rather obvious and playful hint. She then laughs lightly. "You'd honestly strip right here, right now? OK, if you've got the balls....go for it." she winks, actually a little excited about it.

Mercedes laughs a little and holds onto Rory's arm, continuing the playful flirting. "Hmm, you know I have absolutely no idea where I'd find someone like that. I mean, it's like guys like that don't seem to exist. I'll keep an eye out though, you never know, I might get lucky one day." She laughs again and watches him as he stands up. Rory is crazy and up for anything which she loves. She thinks for a second before giggling and taking his hand. "You seem to be eager to flaunt it. You must really have something to flaunt." she winks.

"Maybe those guys actually do play FIFA but they're in extreme denial and don't want to lose man points by admitting a girl trashed them at it." She laughs and moves a little closer to Rory when he takes his top off. Mercedes admires his torso for a few seconds. "Nice....someone must workout a lot. Here was me thinking all you go is sitting around, drinking beer and wanking all day." She puts her hands on his waist, feeling his bare skin. "You know, I'm going to have to see it all before I flaunt it. I'm not that easy you know." She smirks, knowing that Rory will strip for her and she'll return the favour. Although they tease and play games with one another, they both know exactly where this is heading anyway.

Mercedes chuckles and takes hold of his jeans. "I knew there was a reason Billy didn't come over. Was he afraid of cockblocking?" She laughs again and slowly pulls his jeans down to his feet, taking them off along with his socks as he steps out of them. Mercedes looks up at him and smirks. "Tight undies....nice. Highlights your assets, Rory."
