The Chaos awards will take place on May 31st, 2014. With that date in mind, we think it's best to go ahead and reserve spots for performers (8) (6 more) (3 more) (0 more). We would ask you to PM either myself or Scott (genocidal king) in order to reserve a spot. It's a first come, first served basis so hopefully everyone reads this and doesn't go, 'Well I never saw this so how would I know?' SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE! Help your fellow forum members know what's going on when they ignore miss threads and are clueless. The performers will be a SURPRISE until it gets closer to the show, probably a month away, then they will be announced so I ask all of the performers to not say a thing.
Second order of business, going to be trying something that was suggested but never done. In order to switch things up, the awards will now be featuring ads/promos for characters. If you have a new fragrance, new album, clothing line, nail polish, lipgloss, your own brand of condoms whatever, you can also sign up for that! I'm going to estimate about 5 would be needed, they will generally be repeated throughout the show in order to seem more realistic in promoting. You have to write your own commercials. If you prefer to put together a video of some kind, that's also accepted but be mindful that most people will either be rping or trying to prepare for their own performances and stuff so you don't have to go all out but make sure it's not just a sentence and one paragraph but also not a lifetime movie, SELL YOUR PRODUCT!
Third order of business, plugging will begin next month. Since the awards are in May, we think it's only fair to allow any singles/albums/eps/videos (provided they have a rp thread to go along with it if people were to go back and review them and was released and is finished) that were released January 1st - May 1st 2014! This is for the lazy rpers who want to plug but don't want to actually have the RP done. You have a lot of time before the awards and the cut off date for plugging so there should be no excuses. This awards ceremony will be clean, neat, and overall a fun experience so we don't want any drama, no cheating and especially NO LATE SUBMISSIONS OR RPS. If you know you won't make it and even if you don't know you won't make it, just be sure and send your rp in (you know who you are). We don't want to be off schedule just because someone didn't show up or didn't post a RP! But again, this show will be fun and encourage lots of interactivity so get involved! The more the merrier.
