"We're not, I'm still the same person who only let you down once in a long time of being with you. Please don't give up on me..." He tries to place his hand on hers. "I still love you Veronica... You mean the world to me..."

"Veronica, what do I have to do to make you see that this isn't the wrong choice. We've had amazing times together, I don't want to put them behind me and move on..." He holds his head in his hands. "I can't deny it Veronica, I need you in my life."

Rory noticed it was getting too much for her, nodding slowly. "I'm sorry Veronica..." He lifts his head and looks at her. "At least let me give you a ride home, I owe that to you at least."

"I insist Veronica, it's the least I can do." He smiles a little at her as she said that she's glad he's okay. "You know... There's not been a day that I haven't thought about you, wishing I still could be in those times where we were happy..."

"I know, I know. I never expected you to forgive me just like that... Part of me doubts whether you ever will... But I couldn't cope not trying to get you back in my life. I like what we had, I like us... I had to at least try. I meant all I said though, every word. Being away has made me realise a lot Veronica..." he sighs. "Come on then, let's get you home." He puts his coat on, getting his car keys out of his pocket.

Rory nodded. "I couldn't avoid it. I had to. I was planning on heading to your house to see you today, I've been here for a few days speaking to producers but I have a day off today. I came here to get a few drinks down me to ease my nerves before seeing you, but I suppose you made it a little easier. I was scared Veronica, scared that you'd never take me back." He chuckles a little to himself. "Look at me, I used to always think this would never happen to me. Rory Delaney, hung up over a girl he actually loves. I surprise myself sometimes."

"Veronica, I can get most people if I wanted to, trust me I would not be talking to you right now if I didn't mean what I'm saying. But I'm the last person who'd understand love, maybe I just think it is love... But whatever it is, I don't want to let it go..." Rory had never been in love before, he'd never been in a committed relationship until his relationship with Veronica, and ever since he'd been attached to her. "I've got two more days before I head back home..."

"I'm not bragging, it's not something I want to brag about right now. And I know you could... Trust me, if I had it my way I'd still be your boyfriend." he sighs and looks at her. "I won't lie to you Veronica, I had one drunken one night stand in the months we were apart, after we broke up, I regret it so much. And through it all I just wished it were you there with me. I can't get you out of my head, I just can't..." He brushed his hand through his hair. "You were never just a notice on my belt, Veronica, you were always so much more than that to me..."

Rory sighed and looked down at the ground, before nodding. "I guess I deserved it... Thanks for being honest though, I suppose most wouldn't..." It broke his heart to imagine her having sex with someone else, he'd always be on the other side of this story in previous relationships. He didn't like it this way around, but he accepted that he was to blame.

"I know, I know..." He stopped as she stopped, noticing her eyes were watering. He immediately, placed his hands on her face, wiping the almost forming tears from her eyes. "Hey, hey... Please don't cry... Veronica, if two days is all I got then I want those two days to do my best... I had to at least let you know how I feel... I never stopped caring about you, I never stopped thinking about you. I couldn't stay here and not see you, I couldn't..."
