"I won't cross you. I don't want to run the risk of being bitch slapped and having my hair pulled." Riley laughs along with Scott, not realising that he is being serious. It's rather odd to think that Riley has no idea he is sharing a car with a murderer. Ever since Riley's father was killed, life and death has become a touchy subject for him. Even when his father was alive, Riley could never understand how someone could take another's life without even batting an eyelid. "Yeah at least something good came out of it. To be honest....and don't take this the wrong way but I didn't mind filming that. You're a good actor, you made me feel at ease and we had a laugh between takes. I enjoyed it....on some level." He laughs and is taken by surprise when he brakes again, causing him to jolt in his seat. "Jesus...um, we could still keep going. I'm pretty sure that we'll find something to amuse us. I don't think the road comes to a dead end, I think we just have to pass all of that stuff before it takes us back into civilisation again."

Riley watches as Scott messes around with all the dials and the sat nav system. It all looks foreign to Riley as he still hasn't learned to drive and is rarely ever in a car. Rain, hail or shine, Riley tends to walk everywhere unless it's an impossible journey on foot. As they speed off down the road, Riley sees the flashing blue lights in the mirror and turns around to see what's going on. "How did they manage to creep up on us? This road has been silent all night." He looks back at Scott. "I don't think you were speeding....what do you think they want?" When the pull over, Riley takes out his phone to check his messages and interactions on Twitter. Nothing from any friends or family, just a bunch of fans spamming him as usual. "Yeah, I suppose that's a good thing. Don't really think I want to be on the front page of The Sun tomorrow." He laughs and puts his phone away.

When Scott mentions that he was doing at least 90 miles an hour, Riley shrugs, clueless about the whole thing. "Oh....I see. What is the speed limit for around here?" Riley's phone vibrates in his pocket. As he takes it out and reads the message which is from Oscar, he is still listening to Scott. "Don't worry about it, just try to cooperate and it'll be a lot easier. Hopefully." He puts his phone back in his pocket and laughs when Scott suggests trying to charm their way out of the ticket. "Well be my guest. I won't be trying to charm anyone, I would just dry up and die on the spot. I'll just look like a mumbling idiot." He laughs again and waits to see what happens between Scott and the police officer.

"Oh....right. Well then yeah, you definitely went over the limit there buddy." Riley laughs lightly and turns around to see the officer approach the car. Although Riley hasn't done anything wrong, he still feels a little guilty about something. The presence of a police officer always makes him feel a little uncomfortable. "Let's just hope she doesn't have a speed camera with her. If she does then you can always turn on the charm." He watches as the cop stands at the door, waiting for Scott to roll down the window. Riley laughs as he finally puts it down and tries to strike up a conversation with her. "If this is your idea of charming someone, we're fucked."

"Oh dear..." Riley sits in this seat, looking down at his feet and twiddling his thumbs. He looks like a schoolboy that has just been told off by a strict, intimidating teacher even though he has done nothing wrong. Riley was just about to join in and try to help Scott out but after her heard the officer brand Scott as an asshole, he decides that his input may not be valued at all. If the officer immediately dislikes Scott because of his accent, it's best that Riley doesn't say a thing as his deep, gruff Leeds accent sound pretty aggressive in normal conversation despite being one of the nicest people on Earth. She'd probably think he already sounds like a criminal.

Riley listens as Scott and the police officer engage in conversation. He tries his best to stay out of it and remain nonchalant throughout. That is until Scott decides to drag him into it. When Scott points at him, he turns around and raises an eyebrow, slightly confused and worried about what Scott is about to say. Riley smiles at the officer in an attempt to keep things friendly even though it's pretty clear that she's not exactly warm and cuddly. "Yeah....sorry about that. It was my fault.....I just wanted to get there on time. Sorry." It's a good job that he's a great actor as he has to just go along with the story right on the spot. His apology sounds sincere enough.

"We're really sorry. It won't happen again. I'm sure the fans won't mind a little delay.....I shouldn't have been rushing him." Riley moves back in his seat and closes his eyes tightly as the torch light shines directly into them. "So um....what's going to happen?" He asks the police officer while keeping his eyes closed. Riley doesn't really wish to speak as he crumbles in awkward situations like this but since Scott's 'charm' isn't really getting them anywhere, he knows he has to help his friend out.

When the police officer suggests that they all take a trip down to the station, Riley shudders and feels his stomach churn slowly. He has never been in trouble with the law and if this is going to be his first time in a police station, it will be for something he didn't even do - Scott is the driver. "Station? Wh-what for?....Don't you just like...give out speeding tickets or something like that?" he asks, slightly confused. He isn't just trying to worm his way out of a trip to the station, he also genuinely has no clue about speeding and the actions that need to be taken. As Scott winds up the officer more, Riley sits back in his seat and just prays that this will all be over soon.

Riley exhales and runs his hand through his hair, wanting all of this to end. He isn't really one for conflict and this police officer isn't exactly the cheeriest person on the planet. It is pretty clear that she isn't going to let them go any time soon. "So we're not going to jail? What is going to happen then?" he asks, looking back and forth from Scott and the police officer. When she raises her voice, Riley recoils back into his seat.

Riley takes a deep breath and tries his best to remain calm. He watches as Scott gets out of the car. At first, he is a little on edge as he thought that Scott was going to get violent but he remembers that he would never hit a woman unlike Billy. He looks out of the window and tries to see what is going on. "Scott is everything OK out there?"
