"Because we're new. Before we started streaming this album, we had one single out there and then people still vote for us? I find that insane," he laughs. "Hey, I can suit up. I'm not leaving my snapback at home though."

"Yeah snap back and a fucking tux. I'l be bigging up the awful fashion for real." He laughs. "yeah but you guys have been around for longer than us. you've got an album and everything."

Mariko was still in the party mood from the awards.so she hit up the swankiest club open in the midday. It was a slightly run down place,probably was used a set for the golden girls at once time. Mariko sits at th bar and orders a rum and coke. Giggling at being able to use her girlfriend's musical acts name.

Mariko looks up from her drink. It was rare to hear someone new use her name. She grins up at the girl and holds out her hand. " that is me! And who are you? I don't want to be rude and keep calling you "You." Mariko pulls a stool closer to her and pats it. " can I get you anything?"

"Sabrina.what a pretty name." Mariko squeals. She loved names that were exotic to her. Sabrina sounded feminine, the kind of name in a Disney princess cartoon or something. " oh! I.....never met anyone who actually listens to my music. I still think my girlfriend only pretends to. " mariko giggles, " you are so welcome, what music do you make?" Mariko asks,silently hoping it isn't something where she has to make an excuse as ti why she isn't into it.

Mariko blushes deeply.the whole experience was new to her,and she wasn't sure she liked it. " wow,you do like it! Even I forgot about some of those." Mariko starts humming big man. "I love dance music! But am...ashamed to day I haven't heard yours yet.." mariko bites her lip and looks down. She feels kinda bad for not hearing it. " think we could find a club playing it now?" She asks excitedly.already standing.

Mariko giggles and blushes more,eventually waving with bigger her hands. " not over here. Most could care less about me. I am like Stephanie fierce in Japan....well,maybe Mandy Williams." Mariko laughs and starts gaming money out for their drinks.she ended up barely drinking any of hers.she enjoyed Sabrinas company, It was bad form to be liquored up at this time of day anyways. Mariko gives a little nod. " sure you can ride with me. I drive a Fiat,so you will be glad to know I showered today." Mariko swirls her keys in her finger.

" i try to always smell of Japanese cherry blossom,I feel it is expected." Mariko says with a shrug. She unlocks the car,and it makes a satisfying chirp to let everyone know its unlocked. " you are such a sweetie,Sabrina.I just Want to stuff you in my pocket." Mariko gushes. She gives a little shrug and replies," I am dating the part of rum ans coke that didn't make the sex tape. How about you? Is there a special Sabrina mate out there?" Mariko asks,as she starts the car.

mariko cracks up,laying her head on the steering wheel and shaking it back and forth. "ew burrito fragrance! if they have mcdonalds fries,i will never get my nina off of me! poor girl should be big as a house with all the mickeys she eats." mariko puts her belt on and turns the radio down so they can talk. as they drive mariko nods in understanding. "yeah, some of the people in music are anything but supportive. frankly,they are a lot of buttholes. you met any other neato people?" mariko smiles at the mention of nina. "i am jealous of her too. nobody should be that pretty...except her bandmate. they swear they are not related. but do i believe it? no way"

"matt matt matt" mariko says thoughtfully. "nope,doesnt ring a bell." she says with a shrug,giving another driver a dirty look after no using a turn signal. mariko may be a near alcoholic and a coke fiend,but she uses turn signals religiously. "i..um,spoke to one of cherry street once. i think it was vanessa. she was very sweet.: mariko says with a slight smile.she met vanessa during a time she would like to forget,and was probably sure vanessa didnt remember her. "i do not handle pranks well. especially if they involve embarrassing me."
